I cannot say enough about this company and its people. We just moved into this house this winter and there was so much overgrown shrubbery and unidentifiable growth. I first contacted them in early March and Ethan came out as soon as the snow was gone to look things over and come up with a plan for pruning, removing, preserving and mulching. I had the proposal within a couple of days and scheduled the work. Ethan and Nikkis crew showed up bright and early and Ethan walked around going over what was to be done and they didnt stop working until it was done, more than 9 hours later! The result was incredible, like night and day and we couldnt be happier. On top of that, a couple of neighbors asked about the work that was done and I was very happy to refer them to the firm. I anticipate having them back next spring to do some design work and other landscaping. This is a company I am thrilled with which to do business and would recommend them to anyone!

We had a fantastic experience working with Ethan s Eden this fall and are so pleased with our transformed back yard. Ethan designed a bluestone patio with plant beds surrounding it - and then surprised us with solar lights outside of our agreed price. It was completed extremely quickly with regular communications so we d know what to expect. With arborvitae to give it privacy, the new patio is beautifully integrated with our yard and the new shurbs and perennials are already thriving. We couldnt be happier with the work done by Ethan and his crew! At each stage of the process, from planning to execution, Ethan was thorough, professional, and clearly passionate about what he does. He transformed a plain and lackluster back yard into a beautiful succession of flower and plant beds. He also built latticework to hide ugly Bilco doors. During the process, he re-graded the area, fixing a standing water problem weve had for years. I feel lucky to have found Ethan s Eden! Nikki and Ethan are creative, professional, meticulous, and tons of fun to work with. I moved into a new construction house with a yard that had no landscaping, and over the past few years they ve helped me turn it into a haven -- drafting the landscape plan, advising me on hardscape materials for my pool deck, hiring a company to install climate-sensitive irrigation, reconstituting the lawn, and choosing the healthiest and most beautiful trees and plantings. They listen carefully to my ideas, have found aesthetically pleasing solutions to create privacy from a close neighbor, and have encouraged me to do the work at a pace that feels comfortable to me. My yard continues to be a work in progress, and I plan to continue working with them to add to it over time. They re not just landscapers they re landscape artists!

We hired Ethan and Nikki to design and plant a patio area and garden for our yard. Ethan had a very clear vision for the space, worked up a design, and met with us to outline what to expect. He checked in numerous times during the design phase and we discussed in detail the plantings he suggested for the garden. Their team only works on one project at a time; the crew completed it quickly, professionally, and the result is a wonderful pea gravel patio surrounded by gorgeous plantings. After removal of an old tree, we wanted to landscape the area. We contacted Ethan s via their website, per a recommendation from a seasoned employee at a local nursery. We received a response within two business days and met with Ethan within a week. This was an indication of Ethan and Nikki s style, which is timely and complete communication throughout the process. Ethan listened to our ideas, and came up with a conceptual plan for us. He followed this up promptly with a proposal and design plan via email. Upon our acceptance of the proposal, Nikki communicated a schedule and discussed plant choices. A few days prior to the work commencing, we were contacted to let us know the start date. The crew arrived as scheduled and performed the work in a professional and timely manner, using quality materials. This was followed up by a visit from Ethan to explain the care we needed to give the new work, with an explanation of his planned follow up for the next year. Nikki has also promptly responded to all of our email inquiries. In summary, we are very happy with the work performed by Ethan s Eden and would highly recommend them. Nikki, Ethan and their crew are great.

I contacted several landscapers to discuss work; Ethans Eden is the only one that responded. They will be doing extensive work on our property in the spring; this fall they reseeded our front lawn which was overrun with broadleaf weeds. They did this October 5th; its now the 23rd. The lawn looks AMAZING and Im told it will look even better in a few more weeks. After many years of having a sad looking lawn this is a big change for us and Im thrilled. Ethan was very attentive during our intitial meeting and follow-up phone calls and had recommendations I would not have thought of. Im very happy with his work so far and feel confident that the stonework and perennial beds planned for spring will be pretty wonderful. UPDATE 21 September 2021 The stonework and beds I referred to above have just been finished - because of a big demand for Goshen stone, many projects in the area have been delayed. It was so worth the wait. I am really thrilled with the work done by Ethan and Nikki and their team. Nikki chose my native plants with great love and care. She listened to all my specifications and requests, but I could have just butted out because her design was absolutely brilliant. The stone walkway is so beautiful that I sat on my porch steps looking at it for hours after the crew had departed, and expect to spend many more. There were so many little extra touches I hadnt thought of, and that I love, that I am still in a daze. I had such a sad, dingy-looking walkway and poorly chosen and ill-maintained shrubbery and now I have an inviting, beautiful space that Im so proud of. Of course, now I want to have Ethans Eden just take over my whole yard and transform everything - not just the front of the house. Maybe someday? I recommend this business wholeheartedly.

I had Ethans Eden do some work a few months ago to design, plan, and install a pea stone patio, shrubs, plants, mulched beds and regrading in front of the house. When Ethan first came to visit my house he immediately came up with some ideas in multiple areas. I think the thing I appreciated the most was his eye for good design and making it all flow with the landscaping that was already there. I was initially thinking to remove some older plants and replace them with something else but he assured me he could do a bit pruning to make them look much better. He was right and the small changes to the existing shrubs tied everything together nicely. I would recommend him to others and would use him again for future landscaping.

Excellent to work with! We had Ethan design a beautiful multi-tiered garden for the front of our home. It came out better than anyone expected. We had some ugly utility boxes (Cable company, power company, etc) in the garden and he came up with a trellis design that completely hides these from view yet they are still accessible by the utilities. Our garden transformation is like night and day to what it was before. He even warranties the work for a year - even thru the winter. He came and wrapped the larger plants and trees in burlap before winter and came in the spring to uncover, and fertilize. We couldnt be happier with our new garden. We highly recommend Ethan and company for any landscaping you may need!
