He also explained to me about the different types of weeds I have on my property. I learned a lot from him hes very knowledgeable.

Im furious with TruGreen. I have had issues with this company over the past years and now this year its starting again. I have asked a few times already this year to please leave me a text message the day before my service so I can make sure that the service guy can get into the back yard. They were out last week and serviced my yard, front and back. Today, I received a text that they will be out this morning to service my yard today, seriously! The lady over the phone was nice. Im thinking that the problem is either the communication on their end or the computer system that they are using, or both. Has anyone else been having theses issues? Im giving TruGreen one last try.

Dont get involved with them because theyll NEVER completely let you go!!!! UPDATE: Though Quinton was great it wasnt enough to keep me as a customer. Their sales people lie about services you need. Even though I stopped using them a while ago and have repeatedly requested they do not contact me I still get sales calls, texts and mailings from them! They call from all over so I have to keep blocking each new number! ORIGINAL POST: Quinton is very efficient and thorough. He does a wonderful job. He is also very pleasant to deal with.

I was not home for my first treatment. I reached out to Truegreen to speak with Ethan the tech that treated my shrubs. He called me and was wonderful. Very professional, answered my questions and left me feeling confident in their treatment.

Such a run around ! Call centers and salespeople pitching plans without EVER sending anyone to actually look at your actual lawn! The last rep I spoke with was trying to quote me via a satellite image of my lawn! LOL

The grass looked great from the first treatment!

I came home from the store to find a TruGreen sign in my yard. The problem is, I do NOT want TruGreen or any chemicals in my yard! I checked my cameras and sure enough, my yard and flowerbeds were sprayed instead of my neighbor s who paid for the service. My address is clearly marked on both sides of the mailbox and my house. They sprayed INSECTICIDE into my POLLINATOR garden which I have spent hundreds of dollars and countless hours on! The very reason I choose the plants that I do is to support native pollinators and insects, and now I m luring them into a death trap! I am still waiting to hear from a manager about this, as I have many questions and want to know exactly what plants were sprayed so I know what needs replaced. My backyard was fenced and locked, but I believe the specialist sprayed over the fence into my pollinator garden anyways. Also, my kids can no longer play in their own yard. My 3 year old is very sensitive to chemicals and cannot be exposed to this poison. I am not usually one to throw a fit, but this is beyond careless and needs to be addressed.

My grass started from dirt. Trugreen began our services two years ago. My lawn is gorgeous and full, no weeds. Ill choose Trugreen again for my lawncare!!!!

I requested a blanket coverage of weed control over my entire property (approx 1 acre). The tech did a complete and thorough job of spraying my entire lawn and hand sprayed where his vehicle would not reach. Thank you. Bryan K.

Timothy was everything you could hope for in a person and you should be proud to have him as your employee! He explained everything in detail of what he was doing today and even walked the property before starting treatment.

I had James preform the lawn service today. He was very kind and professional. I asked about a problem area and he said he would take care of and I should notice the difference in approximately 2 weeks.

My yard was unkept and overgrown with a plethora of assorted weeds. Now, it is beginning to look like a grassy yard.

I was impressed with Tims professionalism , lawn care knowledge, and courtesy. I was convinced he knew the services my lawn needed to stay healthy and look good. Tim is a good man and I look forward to working with him during the remainder of the lawn care season.

My husband worked for this location and let me just say TRASH. They don t care about their employee s safety what so ever. They kept sending my husband out with unsafe equipment and when he would tell them they told him bring it to the mechanic. Which the mechanic is so overwhelmed because so many of the a sprays are broke, not working right. They act like they don t know that they need replaced for their employees to be able to do the job right. That s why this location has so many bad reviews. They don t have up to date equipment for their employees to do the job right. They have only bought 2 new Z sprays for 2 of their employees. No one else can use them. So everyone else is stuck with the trash z sprays. I would not recommend this company to anyone to work at or to have take care of your lawn. LEARN HOW TO ACCOMMODATE YOUR EMPLOYEES TO GET THE JOB DONE RIGHT!!

The attached picture is after a year of service. We discovered TruGreen was only treating half our yard. After confronting them, they added a note to our account and assured us they would do the complete back. We caught the technician skipping it twice more. I called to terminate the service immediately. They would not reimburse us as we are being charged for the entire yard.

Great customer service and care of my lawn

Zach was very helpful today in advising me what I needed to do to keep up on my yard. I would love to have this young man perform all of the Trugreen services here!

Mike was very personable and shared lots of information about my lawn! He even advised me that my doorbell is broken. He is an example as to why I stay and highly recommend to neighbors, friends, and family.

Mike Green came to apply a final fertilizer before winter. He also sprayed to kill a few weeds along borders. As the soil needs to be tested for pH before it can be amended, Mike will request or conduct the sample collection this fall. Then the proper pH will be applied early in 2024. I enjoyed meeting Mike and look forward to his future advice.

After two years of service my yard was infested with moss and mushrooms (front and back). Of course they only treat for weeds and fertilized the grass. Ok. I get it. So I cancelled my service entirely which they told me they did. This week, they came out and sprayed again and then charged me again. Now online showing 6 more treatments to go. Unacceptable customer service and down right thieves. DO NOT USE this service. You are better off anywhere else. If you need some mushrooms for dinner, let me know.

Customer service is on top of the game...I am pleased so far with our new subscription, as Tru Green is trying to get our yard back into shape from a construction project. They are responsive to our needs and have gone far above their duties to provide services. Many thanks for coming to our rescue.

Come to spray the neighbors yard and mine gets sprayed on accident. Great day for pets to be outside and I cant because they found a way to spray over a 6 foot fence.

TrueGreen are thiefs. The same guy has came out twice and didnt do the work. He just placed the sign in our yard. This is the 2nd time this has happened. We have a fairly big lawn and he was there and gone in less than one minute. True green forgets people have cameras now these days. We want a full refund and will never do business again. My neighbor got rid of them also because they did the same type of thing.

Horrible customer service. Charged our account without notification. I am not typically one to complain and leave bad reviews, but Im so disappointed with our service I just have to. The only reason I even gave 2 stars is because there actually were services provided. Im trying to be fair here. So heres the deal.... Originally we paid for a year of lawn service up front including seeding, weed control, tree & shrub maintenance and mosquito control - and we were gaurenteed no weeds. They claim they will come out between visits for problem areas - that NEVER happened even after we expressed concern. We had our lawn seeded and the gentleman who did the service literally torn our yard up with the tires of his machine. We complained about that but we never even got a response until literally MONTHS later (like 3-4 month later). The woman at the Groveport office that we dealt with originally had NO ISSUE calling, texting and answering our calls/texts when she wanted to get an account with us and collect money, but for all other purposes we got no where with her. It was a joke. Customer service is just horrible. We were told we would be notified when our contract was up and that NEVER happened either. Instead they came out for a visit that we assumed was apart of our 1 year contract considering it was 9 1/2 months in, but the next day had a $100 charge to our account. It felt very scammy them charging our account without notification. Once I called, they said we were outside our contract and that they use a calendar year as a guide?! What does that even mean? Last time I checked there are TWELVE MONTHS in a calendar year. Anyway, I cancelled the service, which they did not care one bit about - oh well, no big deal. But 5 days later we recieved a notification that they will be out Monday to do another treatment. They were going to continue coming, and continue charging us. Needless to say, I called once again and cancelled. Honestly, our lawn doesnt look much differnt than when we started, but we may have given it more time and continued with the service if theyre customer service wasnt so horrible. I honestly do feel like its pretty expensive for the services you get as well. Just all in all it was not a good experience. We will never use TruGreen again or recommend to anyone.

Horrible service. The worst Ive ever had. I canceled my service last year because they never came when they said they would or never showed up at all. They never came back to correct the issues or call me. Now they have started charging my account again after almost a year after I canceled. Called TruGreen and lady one other end had a kid screaming in my ear trying to up sale me on their services. Called again and lady apologized saying their was no activity on my account since I canceled. She then put me on hold and never picked back up. Still trying to get my money back. Beware of this company!

**Edit: added 2 stars because of customer service reaching out and giving a refund for my services + cost of tree.** Really wanted to like the service. Planted a young 6 foot tree which the tech rushed my lawn service and sprayed all over instead of actually walking around the yard to spray grass instead of standing still and pointing hose up high at lawn and hitting my tree. Saw the droplets of spray spread on leaves and the tree turned brown and died within a few days after the lawn treatment. Even saw similar brown overspray on my boxwood bushes as well. Had to make 5+ calls to customer service to try and solve issue and they just kept sending out techs to give me free sprays which has now made my yard brown from over treatment instead of addressing the tree issue. No way to contact this branch directly, number routes to national customer service. When I would get a call back, I d get a voicemail and not one of the local reps left a number for me to reach them directly. Constant phone tag. They finally sent horticulturist out to check out tree, and while he was a friendly guy, he told me he would give me a call to follow up with what they would do about the tree. He never did. I never received any email or anything about the tree. I finally grew exhausted from dealing with this and not having anyone to contact locally, so I finally just canceled the service and cut down my tree. Not even an offer to replace it. I really tried to give them multiple chances but they are really incredibly disorganized. Seems like going through a local company is a much better route.

I can honestly say I have had the worst customer service in the history of customer service! It s not even the local locations fault its the corporate locations fault! They do not train ANYONE! I received a pest control service a month and a half ago. Included in the pest control services is supposed to be them removing cob webs. I called and let them know that the cob webs were not removed(which was the main reason I scheduled that service). They sent someone to my house a total of 3 TIMES and the cobwebs were never removed! I have spent over 5 hours on the phone with them(speaking with various customer service people) and they had the audacity to say they can send someone else out. No thank you just give me my money back at this point because this has become a time consumer and I do not have time to waste. Not to mention every-time I call they say they can t find my account and I have to wait 30minutes for them to find my account. I canceled all my services and asked for a refund on the initial pest control service service. They said they would refund. However, I never got it. Then they had the audacity to still send someone out to do a service, I stopped him when I saw him, told him I canceled this service and he said I never got anything you I have to give the corporate line a call. And they charged my account again! If I could give negative stars I really would. I don t recommend this company to ANYONE. Beware!

Below is how this year of service has gone. Early on 9/22, I get the text for planned arrival for service. Later the note says service arrived and then the next text says they could not make the service time. No service was performed on 9/22. I did get a MARKETING call near 9/23 stating that spiders had been seen during my 9/22 service (but they had not been at my house). I called on 9/26 and no service was scheduled before or after the call. Called on 10/6 to schedule service. There was no record on file at TruGreen for the 9/22 activity. Before the call, no service had been scheduled. Before the season, I paid for a years service with aeration and overseed. I have two services remaining for the year.

We have been with TruGreen for a long time. Up until about the last 6 months service was good. Not so much now. We had trouble with weeds and crab grass. They did come back to retreat. We were set up to have aeration done which took 3 weeks for someone to come out and talk with us. We finally got on the schedule, paid ahead and was told a date they would be here. I called that morning to see where we were on the schedule, we had been taken off the schedule, didnt know why and no one could tell me why. The wait to speak with anyone with authority is ridiculous. Leave your name and number and someone will get back to you within 24-48 hours, really! I want to speak with someone right then and there. We have canceled our service with them.

They need the owner, ceo,co-ceo to step up and fix many things. Management, csrs, human resources and regional managers need additional training, including sales. Everyone is chicken to be the first to call customer when theres huge problem going on. They think the customer will forget about it! I dont let anything of this nature get swept under rugs. When TRUGREENS EMPLOYEE STEALS CUSTOMERS INFORMATION, SOMETHING ELSE NEEDS DONE BESIDE OF FIRING THE PERSON. ITS MY IDENTITY AN HOW DOES THAT FIX IT? IT DONT BECAUSE HE STILL HAS INFORMATION. WHERE IS THE CEO, HES THE ONE NEEDS CALL ME!!

Called early this morning to see if they service my area and to get a quote on mowing services (or someone out to give a quote) and somehow was mansplained on how to use google search to find lawn mowing services near me I replied um thanks? And got put on hold so then I hung up lmfao still confused as to how that happened and like what?? Anyways, I appreciate the helpful advice to search again elsewhere (I can only assume that s what was intended with my small, bird like female brain) as I found a lovely company that came out, gave a quote and took care of my yard in just a couple hours. Thank you for the odd sprinkle of misogyny and advice to look for better service elsewhere in the morning. xD

TruGreen is what it is at this point. I just started a service contract with them so my yard has only been serviced once... But they sure did kill all the weeds in the grass. However, I hope the next time the come out, they actually take the time to understand my problem areas instead of just popping in unannounced and just leaving right back out. Covid protocol or not, they are providing a customer service that I am paying for so I would like to be able to feel that I am getting what I am paying for at the moment.

The customer service manager knows nothing about her job and has no idea how any program works. She is soooo incompetent. She fakes it till she makes it...

This company is an administrative nightmare. I paid cash up front for my front and backyard to be serviced. On the fourth service, the technician took 3 minutes and only did my front yard. When I called to ask why and complain, they never offered a refund and said it was a typo on their part and had only been servicing the front yard the whole time despite me paying for the back as well. It has now taken 2 weeks and 10 phone calls to try and get a refund because you can t call and speak with a manager directly. You have to call, leave a message with a remote worker, and a manager will call you back in 2 business days. I then had to explain my story to 2 different managers. Still don t have a refund because the last manager told me the branch had to call me to give an exact refund amount and that would take 3-5 business days. Needless to say I ve canceled my service and going local to build a relationship and pay a little more for quality and customer service.

I paid for weed and lawn care and they promised to get rid of weeds. My yard looks like absolute garbage after 5 applications and they do not answer the phone. They DO however text me incessantly to try to upsell me other services. Dont bother. DIY or use a local company.

I paid for 2 services this month and the technician was never seen performing the work. The ticket was left in the mail box, no yard marker and my Ring Doorbell camera shows no activity in my yard the day the service was supposedly done. Ive complained and received no response. Ive constantly had problems with the technician performing this work and have had to ask for repeat service multiple times. While I appreciate the extra service, Im fed up with the lack of quality and all the problems with this company and will be cancelling my account. Current wait time is 1 hour (for an existing customer). Another example of poor customer service. I do not recommend this company.

Andrew was very nice in the beginning, but after losing half my backyard a few weeks after the August treatment, he won t call me back. The 800 customer service number doesn t get me anywhere. The lady actually said I cannot provide you with a contact to your local branch because I am not in your country. Just cringeworthy. So anyway, I overpaid for TruGreen thinking they would be the most reliable with how big they are. That was a mistake. Still to the day have not been responded to.

I have had yard and tree and bush treatments for over 20 yrs. Recently got aeration and reseeding. Great lawn . Very happy with their work!

They tell me its organic chemical! Arsenic is organic too. Hard pass

I signed up last Friday. The manager guaranteed they would be out at the beginning of the next week to spray for mosquitos. It is now Friday night, the following week, and they have yet to show for the mosquito spray. I also signed up for their lawn package that included a post-emergent, a grub spray, and fertilizer. They showed up, today, spread a genrtic12-12-12 fertilizer, haphazardly, hit the sidewalk with a spray that has yet to do anything (roundup would have had it wilt in an hour) and took off. No grub control, and no attempt to get weeds out of the lawn. I contacted the manager again, he admitted they had not done the work they were supposed to do. However, despite my repeated attempts to contact him, no response at the end of the day. I contacted [email protected] about my concerns about the tardiness of the mosquito spraying last Wednesday and it took customercare@trugreen 48 hours to reply. They just said, our records show your lawn was treated on this day. Totally missed my concern. Also, customercare@trugreen took 48 hours to respond. They may say it s due to Covid, but wen I called to sign up, it took them literally 15mins to call me back. Draw your own conclusions.

Wednesday October 7th 2020 my wife was home when they arrived to treat our grass. They did not even enter my back yard to complete their service. Makes me think how many times this was not completed when we were not home. They put the receipt in my mail box saying they completed their service and today they took the money out of my account. So we paid for a service we never received. Called and talked to a lady that could not put me in touch with a manager or supervisor. She said that I would get a re-treatment for free. So nice of them right? It is know Friday and never received and explanation from them that I asked for. I will be calling this morning and cancel them. Never will use these guys again.

Quick, easy efficient and no contact service

They recently aerated and overseeded my lawn. Later on that day when I went to water the lawn, I noticed a few spots with no aeration holes and I also noticed a lack of seed throughout the yard. I called and complained, so they sent the guy back out a few days later. When he came by, I was busy working, so I was unable to go to the door to talk to him. He walked around my yard and left. He left a voice-mail that said he didnt see that he missed any spots. The guy needs glasses. I didnt bother to call back because whats the point? He came back and thinks he did a good job, so I decided to save myself an arguement. My lawn doesnt really look like I did anything to it, despite putting on fertilizer, having optimal soil ph, and watering every single day for several weeks. There are only a very few spots that have growth. The bottom line...save yourself the hassle and do it yourself.

It takes a lot for me to leave a review. Typically, I am the type of person to just write off a bad experience and move on by just not giving my business again. TruGreen has been a ride though. We signed up for weed treatment and prevention, just the basics. For starters, they would call and give a 24 hour heads up that they were coming. Not working from home, I would adjust my schedule for the following day to come home and let our dog in the house so the yard could be treated. They rarely kept to the schedule and on multiple occasions didn t show up at all. One time claiming they couldn t find the house after they had treated a few weeks prior. There was very little progress on the weed issues in our yard, if any at all. The final straw came when they provided an aeration and overseeding service for $219 + tax that was not agreed upon when we first talked about the services we were wanting. That money was promptly withdrawn from our account. Our initial hesitation with starting up service keeping the cost down. We turned down every additional service they offered, from mosquito treatments to tree infestation prevention. We will now be looking for a local service that values its customers needs and wants.

Tried to call for a free quote, they gave us a quote over the phone and immediately transitioned into high pressure sales tactics. When they were told we would discuss it and get back to them they started calling us every 30 minutes until we explicitly told them not to call us back. I d rather have a dead and ugly lawn than deal with this company.

Lawn looks great; and technician is very good. He takes to explain what hes doing, why, and gives me tips on watering, mowing, etc. Ive used them four years now, and plan to continue.

Service punctuality has been good. My back yard is not doing well. The attempts to get rid of weeds has not been successful. Considering another local service.

I started with true green this past spring. The very first time the came they over sprayed plants in my yard. It took about a week of calls and emails to get any response from the Hilliard store. They sent the manager of the yard techs out and he agreed that they did over spray. He told me the tech definitely did not do the job right. He advised me to make sure I water everything well and he would check back in a week and if plants needed replaced that true green would make it right.i was told they would retreat at no charge also. We discussed one area I did not want sprayed because I let my dogs in that area . He told me he would put very specific notes in on my plan and make sure things were done right. The very next time they cam out they still sprayed where I had asked not to treat. I still had not heard anything on my plants that were still wilting even though I had been watering trying to keep them going. I called and with my complaint once again and it fell on deaf ears. Sense then then I have made several calls and have asked to close my account. I keep getting a bill and i have expressed i will not pay for work and repairs that were never done. True green has shown me they are about the money they can make verses how they can help me with my yard. I will not recommend this company especially if its the Hilliard branch. They are not honest and they do not fix their mistakes. I have spent more of my own time and money to fix their screw up than I would of just doing the job myself.

My grass was to be treated and wasnt the Technician came to my home sat in the car for a about 15 minutes get out of the car through the flags in my yard put the bill in my mailbox am I grass was not treated.
