H&H Lawn and Landscape in Gretna

This company did our sod work for our lawn..laid the worst type of fescue grass..thickest blade fescue..can not walk or anything..evidently so different than our neighbors on both sides for whom this company did the work at the same time contracted by the same builder. Very disappointing. Everyday I see it and wonder why would anyone do this!!

I canceled my lawn service today due to poor performance from H&H. For the 2nd year in a row, my lawn has been destroyed by grubs. Well come out and treat again has been the sole response, with little or no improvement in the lawn. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I have been using HH lawn care for 2 years now and my lawn hasn t looked better. I had dollar spot disease and instead of trashing their competitor I was given advice on how I was hurting my lawn and what I could do different. Their customer service has been good and I am extremely satisfied.

Quality work, poor communication.

This Company is HORRIBLE do not bb y u se them website clearly states mowing I asked them to Mow my lawn because going on Vacation the receptionist told me to go fly a kite unless I wanted them to mow until the end of the year don t need them to mow until the end of the year just need the service you said you offer she freaks out again screaming at me and tells me I have a problem this is awesome customer service let me tell ya don t ever use H&H Lawn and Landscape the smallest of jobs is just too much for them.

We wanted to choose someone local and affordable and H&H was it. Mark was great to work with. He came out for a walk through and had our quote by the next day. He worked with us on finding just the right color of stone we wanted. He also personally came by to make sure we were happy with the install , which we really appreciated. We look forward to working with him in the spring for more landscaping.

Best experience! Contacted H&H on a Wednesday morning for flower bed cleaning and mulch, someone was out the same day to provide a quote. When I called to proceed with their services they were out the next day. Very impressed with their timely and quality of service. I especially liked that someone answered the phone and was very polite. The best service all around!

Shady tactics, providing and billing for services never agreed to. Their aeration service didnt touch half of our yard. Their overseeing treatment had no visible seeds on the ground, much less any growth from it. Thought, well thats the last we will ever use them (fall 2021) Then we didnt renew the service, they came out again unsolicited and tries to bill us for more. The weed treatment we received in Spring/Summer of 2021 was OK, better than nothing, but still not worth renewing, which is why we never renewed anything. Their only response was I left you a voicemail and an email, neither of which constitutes an agreement for services. Terrible service, very atypical of Omaha.

The H&H Lawn and Landscaping crew did phenomenal work on the three garden beds recently for my husband and me, especially given the state of the garden beds. The work the landscaping crew completed recently was more than a typical landscaping job. Their work has freed me of the guilt of not being available to take care of my beautiful garden beds these last few months. Due to my need to spend the last few months traveling back and forth between Omaha and my parents house 4.5 hours away to help my parents as they go through their respective, individual health issues, I have been unable to tend to the maintenance and care of the garden beds. Having the garden beds cleared of weeds, pruned and looking better than they have ever looked, has lifted my spirits and boosted my energy! I appreciated Mark coming out to complete a complimentary consultation and detailed quote for the services H&H Lawn and Landscaping offers. The fee was more than fair, very reasonable and I gladly paid the invoice without hesitation. Joslene, H&H s Admin-Extraordinaire, is always cheerful and helpful when it comes to scheduling landscaping jobs, setting up the weekly mowing team each season, and answering any other questions that might come up throughout the seasons. I highly recommend H&H Lawn and Landscaping for ALL your landscaping needs!!

Beautiful design and great installation.

We had a very good experience with H&H. They removed an old 120 ft long tie wall and replaced it with precast blocks. The crew was friendly, polite, and professional. They were very accommodating when I wanted to make small changes. I would use them again.

I contacted H&H Landscaping and he got back to me within the day. (that has been unheard of lately in any industry). Burton was very prompt and professional. Came to the appointment On-Time and communicated with me the entire time. He sent us over the plans the next day and they were exactly what we wanted. We set the date for our landscape and they showed up on time on the date / timeframe that they said they would be there and did the work in 2 days. 10/10 recommend. We are very happy with the quality and professionalism!

When I was searching for aeration, I contacted several lawn care companies for quotes and was very pleased with the prices and customer service at H&H. If I have a question, I like to be able to talk to someone, and Joslene, who I believe is the office manager, always picked up the phone or got back to me right away.

On time, under budget and professional! In a world where contractors seem to play by their own rules, H&H was outstanding. They showed up when they said they would, they finished on time and under budget, despite my making changes to our design throughout the process. The owner was always responsive, and never let on if my high maintenance requests were making him nuts. The crew was clean and respectful and never left any more of a mess than was absolutely necessary, which is much appreciated when you have small kids to try and keep away from the worksite. Absolutely recommend!

Burt and his team at H and H installed a paver patio w gas fire pit. They were not only quick, but also produced a great finished product that we use often. We are very pleased and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new backyard. Thanks !

This company is great. While they dont give you an exact ETA or timeframe for service, when they arrive they get straight to work and do a wonderful job. We had aeration and over-seesing done for a reasonable price! I had to reach out to the staff a few times with some questions and they were very responsive and professional. The guy who came out was friendly and always had a smile on his face. I recommend this company!

Ive found they always install a quality product and do a great job insuring the property is cleaned up after the job is completed. Their staff is polite, professional and hard working. H&H Lawn and Landscape has been an outstanding company for us to work with over the past four years. We first had them do a major landscape project in our backyard including a water feature and a fire pit area. They also added landscape to our front yard. We then hired them to do complete our fertilizing and weed control throughout the summer months. In addition, weve added another tree and a few more bushes. Each spring, they come cut back our bushes and grasses, add mulch and check our ponds. This year, they repaired our front water feature and added another partial wall to help keep mulch off the patio. They did an awesome job ensuring this partial wall and seating area matched the one by our fire pit. We continue to do business with Mark, Tim and crew because they are always available to talk through our yard needs to help us create and improve our yard spaces. Last, Joslene Pike is usually the first person to speak with you when you call into the office. She is amazing as she is always positive, quick to assist, and follows-up on whatever it is that made you call. We look forward to our continued business with H&H Lawn and Landscape!

I emailed these guys last Wednesday asking for a quote to help with fertilizer. Was pleasantly surprised I got a call the same day that someone would come out Thursday to give me a quote and talk about services. Unfortunately, nobody came, and I haven t received anything. My lawn is small, so maybe they drove by and decided it wouldn t be worth their time. I honestly wouldn t have cared if that was the case, but it would have been at least nice to get a call back. 2 stars for at least trying, nothing more because I received nothing more.

My backyard looks amazing! I went from never wanting to be outside to being out there every night. The crew was very polite and accommodating and the project was finished on time. Can t say enough about it, just a great experience overall!

H&H did a great job transforming our front yard with a wall and plants. They kept the area picked up while working and took all the tools and unused supplies with them at the end of the day.

I had heartland lawns in my previous home and they are great but I want to explore other service options that included lawn mowing and fertilization treatments all within the same company. Great lawn care and easy billing and statements of work on the online page. Very easy to get in contact with for updates to your service or questions.

My lawn always looks great and the patio and fire pit they installed has been fantastic for years now. Definitely recommend these guys for hardscaping and lawn maintenance.

Worst customer service ever... called about 10 times and was promised a call back or a mow several times. Neither one ever happened over a two week period.

HH Landscaping designed and build a new patio for us. They did a fantastic job. They had great ideas for our patio and built it within the promised time frame at a competitive price point.

We built a new house in 2014 and we contacted H and H Lawn and Landscape through a friend of our who used them and they did a amazing job on there yard. We met with the two brothers who are the owners of the business and came up with a plan which they then did a elaborate design for our new home. It was a little over our budget so they worked with us to get within our budget and we chose them. They brought in some beautiful huge natural limestone blocks to build our retaining wall. We also installed a very nice looking patio and firepit which we cannot get enough of and the kids love making smores. We had plants and mulch installed and after the whole project was complete they even brought us a bottle of wine to enjoy on our new patio. All I can say is they are great to work with and do A+ work. We have since started using them to fertilize our new lawn and it looks great already and its not even a year old yet.

We needed major work done to our yard, including a pond, retaining wall, tree root removal, tree pruning, filling in low spots, and sod. We were very pleased with the overall professionalism and the quality of the service H & H Lawn and Landscape provided. The owners came out to our home, gave us some recommendations, then performed the work in less time than we expected. The results speak for themselves. My wife and I highly recommend H & H for both residential and commercial services!
