Had a lot of dandilions and some other weed in my front lawn, dont really care in the back, TruGreen is cool in that you can pick and choose what parts of your yard you want treated. Just sign up online and you can see a plot of your home and you can just click which sections you want included. I thought that was pretty cool. Had one treatment so far on the part I chose to be treated and I can tell the weeds are going to be gone after a couple more treatments. I got the basic and the price is good if you have weed problems so if you need a company like this they are really good.

Ronald did a fantastic job and by the time I got home from work most of the dandelions were starting to wilt after just one application. I can t wait to see the progress as the service continues.

Our lawn care expert was very friendly and efficient.

They are a good company. If they ever fall short, they make sure to fix what short comings there were and continue on giving good service. Thats what I look for in a company, not perfection, but a willingness to improve with good customer service.

We have tried to cancel their service for several months now, but they refuse to reply to emails, and every phone number they have listed will ring one time then dead air, unless you call for a new service, then you get put into an automated call which when you hit to cancel your subscription, they drop the call everytime. So here they are still charging us for their over priced, low grade products and service.

William was fantastic. He applied the pre-emergent, thoroughly checked for additional areas that needed attention, blew the granules from the driveway back into the yard, and talked to me both before and after when I had more questions. I hope William takes care of my yard for the rest of the season. Well done!

According to my experiences TruGreen is very responsible. They have maintained my yard for more than 10 years. I think my yard is best looking in the area every year. Last fall TrueGreen performed the aeration and reseeding on my yard. Somehow this spring, my yard looked not like past years, glass came out unevenly. I called the TrueGreen showing a picture of my yard. They immediatly sent a specialist to redo fertilize again for free. Now my yard looks great. I appreciate their immediate responses.

We are very pleased with our lawn service today. Our specialist Harley, was very helpful and professional. We watched as he sprayed every corner of our yard. We look forward to beautiful results.

Based on my experience, I would not trust that this particular TruGreen is doing what s in YOUR best interest, but rather what s in THEIR best interest. I paid for a years service and asked if the technician could please meet with me to go over my lawn. Notes were reportedly added to my account, however, the tech came, applied treatment to a yard full of bare spots and left. The notes said that he came to my door and they most certainly did not. No problem. I called back and they apologized and scheduled a free consultation visit for the next week. Visit day comes (5/8/23) and I start receiving the notification texts. 1. We re going to be there today, 2. We re on our way, 3. We re here and finally 4., We ve finished your free consultation. I sat at the front window, they never even visited! . I called the office to voice my concern and the person answered the phone and immediately apologized, BUT, seemed to take my feedback personally right off the bat. Also had no problem immediately closing out my account. Of course that fired me up and now here we are. The bottom line is they did not listen to what the customer was asking for, made mistakes, then argued and walked away. I would do the same if I were you. **5/10 Update: Fair is fair. Gotta give credit when due. I just received an email from TruGreen that indicated they were refunding the amount that I ve been invoiced up to this point. Please note that I did not ask for any type of refund. THAT was unexpected, but very much appreciated. Thank you, TruGreen! I m sorry things didn t work out, but I feel much better about the outcome and revised my review rating.

NO Star. Have to do 1 star so this will post. They came and did my service but only applied fertilizer using the spreader. They sent me my invoice for full amount of service fertilize, weed control and pest control. I sent an email and they asked if I wanted a free service are you serious? Then this morning my bank account was deducted the invoice amount which I am not signed up for autopay or monthly billing. 2 issues in one service. 1 more I will find another service provider and also turn this over to my attorney for them taking money from my account!!!

Called three times to get my lawn care corrected as I have crab grass one one side of my lawn. They say they will bring a tech out to preform another spray but that didn t help either. They came out twice to redo it. My third time calling over the span of 7 months of using service, I m done! Poor quality! Never again, lesson learned.

Tim tackett of TruGreen was out today to evaluate my lawn. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about what was going on with my lawn and has a solution for the problem Im having. Very nice person.

They do ok but finished 2.years now and haven t notice a real big difference. Weeds are slowly going away but still small patches not filling in. Thinking of doing a seeding next. That may help. I m sure it s helping but takes time.

The make up service was much better. They answered all of my questions and completed the originally promised services.

Technician arrived at my home then I immediately received a text the service was complete. I was home at the time opened my garage door to meet with the tech matthew d. He stated he just finished fertilizing my lawn. The proplem was he hadn t even got out of his vehicle yet let alone applied my lawn treatment. He knew at that point he had been caught and starting making all kind of excuses for his negligence. When I expressed to him I would be calling the company he said he would let them know and the lawn application would not be charged to me. Next morning I checked my phone app and found out to cover his tracks the lawn tech terminated my service. What a scam! Pretend you provide a service then cancel it when you get caught not providing it!!

I was ready to cancel my Trugreen service until representative Kwofi Jackson listened to my concerns and took special care to address them. Trugreen owes him for my continuing participation.

I am not a current Trugreen customer, but a Trugreen specialist treated my yard instead of my neighbors yard today and left a service summary on my door. Obviously, my neighbor is being billed for this as their information, along with their address, is on the service summary. My address is clearly posted on the front of my house and shows a different street and number than on the summary for my neighbor. I tried calling the office number on the service summary to report the problem, and was hung up on by the first two representatives I spoke to. The third representative was totally not helpful, nor even gave me an apology for the mistake. She spoke very broken english and had no idea how to resolve the issue as she said i dont know what to do a couple times as if she was talking to herself. I asked to speak to a Greenwood, IN branch supervisor, who was named on the summary along with the contact number for the branch, but she said she had no way to do that. For the sake of time I wont go on, but needless to say I was not impressed with Trugreen and their customer support practices. I used Trugreen many years ago and dont recall exactly why I stopped, but I know if this is an example of their current service I wont be retaining them again anytime soon. How can any company provide customer service when you cant even talk to the appropriate person at the local office, but instead have to wait on the line for several minutes only to talk to someone in a foreign country that doesnt understand your issue, doesnt know how to resolve it, and cant connect you to someone who can? This is why I treat my own yard now!!

The tech named Jackson never showed up- He said he did at 4 pm and then at 4:01pm says complete- Charged me for the visit and that wasnt correct either- I was home the entire day and out front on my porch and he was not here- my 4 cameras did not show anyone here all day- So I would love for the tech to call me and answer a few questions about my home to show he was not here! This was my first time trying TruGreen and I will look for another company - hopefully with honest technicians-

Got a message that tech had arrived at 2:55pm and 3 mins later a message that service was complete I have an acre of lawn so I knew that didn t happen not to mention I was home. The Tech was not at my house. I see other reviews saying the same thing happened to them. I got invoiced for service that did not happen. Why are they lying about service? I now question if the previous services were actually done. UPDATE: They scheduled to come and retreat the lawn today ( 7/28/22). Same thing happened. Tech messaged he had arrived and three minutes later messaged he was finished. We were home again. He was never here How can you go to wrong address ( their excuse) with todays GPS technology? Ridiculous

Issues getting notification of visits. Since I have a security gate and a dog, this is a major issue. Now that the season is about over, I think this has finally been resolved. Also, crabgrass control had been very ineffective. Equipment issues and adequate supply of chemicals to treat entire yard a repeated issue.

After 4 months, lawn still has so many weeds, it looks like we dont receive services.

Prepaid over $500 for a year of treatment to service an approximate 9000 square foot yard. Encompassing these initial 5 months TruGreen service technicians have spent a TOTAL of 33 minutes at my residence by their own e-log notifications. There has been zero measurable difference in the health or appearance of my lawn; the front yard is still a sickly mess and crabgrass abounds in the back. I called TruGreen earlier today to discuss the level of service; the customer rep acknowledged the tight working windows and that the technicians may not actually be applying treatment to the yard(??!). He then (over the phone no less) diagnosed the issue with my lawn as grubs and that the dirt was probably packed too hard. His solution was to try and send one of these technicians back to my residence to perform an evaluation so that I could purchase additional service(s) from TruGreen-which is an absurd response to a customer complaint. Learn from my mistake: Do not use TruGreen; their lack of service and subsequent response do not meet even the most minimal of expectations.

I was very displeased with my service

We used them 2 years. The first year they did a great job. Last year was a different story. We kept getting weeds and crabgrass and asked for someone to come and take a look. There was always an excuse. Then they left a sign and a bill saying they had been there. I had been home all day and they never sprayed our lawn. When we checked the Ring, you could see him placing the sign and bill, but he never sprayed our lawn. We called and left several messages before we got a call back. They sent someone else out to do the work. Whenever we had a problem or question, they didnt seem to care at all. We went with a smaller company this time.

I signed up and was serviced pretty quick. Was told that they would be out on certain dates and was told if there was an issue to call and they would get someone out as soon as they can. Well 7 weeks after the first service no one ever came back out. So I called and was told I wasnt even on the schedule yet for another service. Very disappointed considering all the hype wasnt there and my lawn was covered with weeds. Trying to get hold of someone in customer service is a nightmare. On hold for hours. Went back to taking care of my own lawn as TruGreen is not reliable.

I have been billed but no service was performed. Called several times to cancel but they still bill me! This company is a nightmare! These people are running a scam! ... by the way I have more weeds than when I started the service! Stop billing me!

Excellent customer support. Whenever I found some weeds were persistent in my lawn, I would call them and the representative always replied promptly and with a solution to my problem.

So I signed up for ture green services this year and chose pay as you go services and made a good decision that I didnt pay upfront to them for entire year. My first 2 services were on time and had no issues but from my 3rd service onwards I started facing issues with billing where I got charged for the service I didnt even signed up for and they performed at my yard, for which I had to follow up with 4 different people at 4 different times to resolve. After that my next service happened in June where 2 guys came in with the service truck and sprayed on my front yard leaving the side and back yard untouched and left the property under 5 mins and leaving no description of service behind. I got charged for full service that month and I paid it thinking it might be one of the instances and after that no one came for straight 40 days for service and when the guy came in for service in August he said its a hot day and will only do spot spray on some weeds around the yard and as there are no weeds in my yard he left too in short span leaving the service bill and charged for full service. I signed up for professional service so the so called experts can tell me whats right or wrong with the yard, I have some few dry spots developing in my yard and I tried asking the service specialist who came in August about it and he said he had no idea why thats happening not even tried to see if something is wrong with grass or ground and told me to contact tru green so some expert can come and suggest. Thats the trigger point for me and I realized its a waste of money to hire True green for your yard needs.and the service notes they leave behind says certified service specialist has performed service at tour yard where they are not even able to answer why the yard is having dry patched.

Told them to leave me alone. And to stop sending me letters in the mail. The service was poor and they techs lied about how they service the house.

If I could give a zero star I would, the call center for this company is terrible, rude and very unprofessional, I was simply calling them about my services as a NEW CUSTOMER, and found out that I was cancelled twice by someone at their office and never was notified at all. I called only to find out that it was cancelled. I asked to speak to a manager, and that didn t happen either. I spoke with a guy named Larry today 3/18/20, and told him what had happened and asked to be put back at my original price quote and he said that can t happen, I told him I may just look for someone else to take care of my services, and he HUNG UP on me!!!! Really???? That how you treat NEW CUSTOMERS???? This was all their fault and then I get hung up on. I would hope a manager would call to resolve this but that hasn t happened either. This was all a screw up on their part and never once was I notified about this. I guess I ll find a company that cares about their customers and their lawn. This place is terrible!!!!!!

TruGreen service was very timely. I was kept up to date on arrivals for each appointment. The person who handled the procedure was kind, courteous, and knowledgeable when it came to my questions. And above all, my yard is coming out of a true mess of weeds, bare spots, etc. I m really happy that I decided to have this work on my yard taken care of by these professionals. I highly recommend TruGreen Lawn Care.

Arrived on time. Very knowledgeable and professional.

Never showed up. Sat here all day as I wanted to be here for the analysis. 4:45 I called and they said they would have the guy call. Never did. I needed to be here to talk to the guy, see if he was qualified, and to talk about what they were going to do. Worse, they scheduled a first application without my approval or permission. It s either a sleezy or an incompetent operation, neither of which I deal with. With all of the negative stories about this company, I was skeptical. Turns out they were right.

After the first treatment I still see some weeds.

I cant speak on their regular services. But I can say that if your interest is in organic and/or natural lawn care do not sign up for their Trunatural program. Apparently, the only people who know anything about it are the sales people. We signed up for it, twice technicians were sent to our house to apply the regular weedcontrol which is rated a category 4 for toxicity by the EPA and costs half the price. So not only were we given a treatment other than what was promised us, but we were given it at twice the price. The second time was after I stopped the technician the first time and had my husband speak with the company. We were promised the correct thing would be done the next time, but it was not. 2 technicians and 1 customer service rep were completely unfamiliar with what the program even is. So why offer it if you arent going to provide it? It just makes me wonder how many people are being charged for natural service but getting the same thing everyone else is getting for half the price.

Don t ever use this company worst service ever! They will bill you, never provide the lawn service and horrible customer service.

Please be careful when you use this lawn care. I asked only to take care the weed. Thy are not capable to take care the weed. 3 times they came to do so but non of the vist worked.

One of your hispanic contract hires for Shiloh Estates on east Indianapolis did this today not paying attention, confronted him & he didnt understand much english. Please have your employees pay attention to avoid small claims court. My cable & internet are now out for 2-3 days; any fees or charges will be mailed to you on this matter until resolved.

We cancelled service to our 85 yr old mothers residence, yet they continue to send unsolicited mail and telephone calls to her. She has short term memory issues They talked her into yet another service period, and ALL of the Scotts offices are closed on weekends, we can only call M-F 9a-5p. We dont understand why this company ignores the wishes of the customers wishes to sever existing business relationships, and to stop unsolicited mailings and phone calls. We are NOT happy with Scotts.
