I called and was supposed to receive a call back the following Monday to have someone put in artificial turf in at the condo and no phone call all week. Called at the end of the next week and left a message reminding them that they forgot to call me and they didn t return that phone call either. Very unprofessional service. Do not waste your time.

Our yard ended up looking horrible with a ton of weeds and dead patches. It was worse than any of our neighbors who did not get their yards treated. Then rather than fixing our yard we were told we would have to pay an additional $200 to have the yard reseeded. Would not recommend using this company and we will be looking for another lawn care company to fix and maintain our yard

Matt has taken care of our lawn services for more than a decade. We moved three years ago to Hickory Stick and the lawn has been terrible the last two years due to cheap sod and clay soil. We actually asked Matt to give us a price on tearing it out, bringing in good dirt and re-seeding but he convinced us to let him try slice-seeding and two treatments later we have one of the best lawns in the neighborhood. Great service, reliable and experienced.

I use to have another lawn care business for over 20 years. My yard was taken over by weeds and they did not seem to care. I changed to Certified Lawn Care and they had a whole different philosophy for taking care of lawns. My lawn is green and no weeds. They did lay mulch for me and seeded in the fall. My lawn has never looked better. Don t let other lawn care people tell you it is ok to treat your lawn when raining or right before. It is a lie. My old company told me you could apply on top of snow and they did. Anything to save time and they did not care about my lawn. Certified Lawn Care even calls me the day before service. I am very pleased!

Dont use them. They claimed to do a to use a weed preventer and drove off after they planted a sign in our yard. We came home from an early trip. They rang our doorbell at 8:15. I was downstairs at 8:17am. They were at the corner of our road. They never put a foot in our yard.

Thickest, healthiest lawn weve ever had! Our lawn was a mess before we called Certified Lawns. Matt and his team went to work and weve never been more satisfied!

After using one of the bigger names for many years with poor results, I called certified. We were having a horrible problem with crabgrass. They gave me a consultative approach and came up with a strategy to get my lawn healthy and beautiful again. I m really pleased with the results of that plan.

Sept. 2021 - My previous lawn fertilizing and weed control provider was forced in to retirement so I chose a prepaid program from Certified based on the strength of their reviews and cost of their program. The 2 critical things for me is how the yard appears and whether they effectively control the weeds. On appearance they re doing okay. I remain very skeptical whether an all liquid fertilization program is adequate. I m concerned I may be depleting my yard a nutrients. A granular program may feed over a longer period of time. I m especially concerned about this fall as that s the prime time to strengthen the lawn and kill weeds. And weeds were never present with my previous service. But I have had to hand pull crabgrass and other hot weather weeds. I m unhappy. Certified isn t handling weeds as well as my previous service. I m hoping this doesn t cause a worse problem for me next year too. Update 4-26-22 I did not renew their service for 2022. My yard s never greened up so slowly in the spring as this year. It s also become thin in areas that used to have healthy grass. I believe my concerns about the yard becoming depleted are probably true. I replaced them.

Service has gone down hill. Don t return phone calls or online inquires. When you cancel and give then reasons why, they reply blaming you. If you notice, had to cancel to get a reply. That s not how you keep customers.

We are in search of a lawn care service, and reached out. No questions could be answered over the phone, as they wanted to come do a quote first. The quote was left on our front door, with no follow up call. I use the term quote loosely, as it is just a pamphlet with a price per application. No break down of what services/number of applications this includes, or how they came to the price. I guess I expected a more thorough quote based on the glowing reviews. Ill be using another company that did provide a better breakdown upfront.

Could have done a better job. I dont feel like the guy got my whole yard. I wanted them to spray for spiders in my flower beds, but they didnt do that either

Certified Lawns did a complete overhaul of our landscaping and it looks AMAZING! We worked with Jim Keller as our landscape architect. He is very knowledgeable about plants/trees and listened as I said I want very little upkeep. He told us exactly what we were getting, what to expect from it in the different seasons and how to care for it. The best team of landscapers showed up on time and began to work. They were very clean, professional, courteous and friendly. They would stop and answer my questions when I had one. I felt completely comfortable with them in our yard for the day. This is a local company from greenwood and I will have to admit just after 2 treatments Ive never seen my lawn so green and full. My lawn is soft so heavy machines that most companies use tear up the lawn leaving ruts and dead spots. But Certified Lawns walks my property for the treatment and I honestly couldnt be happier with the results!

Called to get a free quite which the guy was nice enough to come to my house whene it was raining to check on my property but I had wait two weeks when he said it would take 1-2 days to receive a quote. All of a sudden he emails me after I call at least 2-3 times with no reply and says that he doesnt have time for my project. Would of been nice to have a little more heads up and better Respect for peoples time and have improved communication. Needed this work done asap and doesnt make a company look good when they dont follow up when they are supposed to

They treated my lawn for the first time a couple months ago and had to come back out because it did nothing to the weeds, dandelions started to grow. They came back a second time and it did kill the weeds. They came out today for the second treatment during a lightening and thunder storm! The guy sprayed while it was pouring rain! They left a bill on my door lol. I cancelled their service, cant be trusted.

After unsatisfactory service from a national lawn care service, we requested quotes from 3 local companies. Matt responded quickly, came out and looked at our lawn, and provided a quote. Certified is reasonably priced and provides great service. Matt and his staff are professional, competent, and pleasant. They discuss any lawn problems and come up with a plan. Since we have a locked, fence gate, Certified also has to call a day ahead to let us know when they will be here to make sure the gate is open.....and they always do that, unlike previous companies. Certified not only does our lawn care, but also a spring clean-up and, again, do a great job. Because of this, we have recommended Certified to many others.
