Not super happy with Fairway. Always felt pushback from the local manager- always making excuses as why they couldn t come out. Received text message from their crew to say they were coming and two to four days later would show up at their convenience, not the Kapp s Lawn Service we had in the Pittsburgh area. BTW..:.I moved back home after moving up to that area for 18 years. Expected the same quality of service if not more down here. Just really disappointed. Their customer service is great but the final product-disappointing.

Quincy has been maintaining my turf for about 6 months now, and my yard is looking greener than ever! Its weed free and very lucious! We are grateful to have Quincy take care of our property!

I would recommend you save your lawn and call another lawn service. My self and 2 other neighbors have been using Fairway lawns and to be honest the service has been mediocre at best. Im still pulling weeds out my grass and lawn service number 4 killed a large section of my grass and my neighbors grass. We never received a satisfactory reply as to why this happened. The person who respond to my inquire came out and took pics and told me they would respond in a week. Never heard back from him and calling the main office twice was absolutely useless, I never received a call back. Now, both my neighbors and I are looking for a new lawn service.

They will not stop calling me. I ended service over a year ago and have gotten maybe 6 phone calls from them can I ask why you stopped your service. How about you refer to the first phone call when I nicely responded. Now its annoying like a telemarketer company. STOP CALLING ME

Set up an appointment and they never showed up on the day of the appointment, and never responded to any of my texts/calls afterward. We ended up hiring another company.

Quincy has been a help to me on getting my lawn green from grass not weeds

We recently switched to Fairway after some bad experiences with Trugreen. So far the yard is looking so much better. And we aren t seeing as many weeds. Our Tech Quincy is absolutely fantastic and he is so knowledgeable about what he does, and always helps with any questions I have.

Canceled my service in April but they continued billing me for the next 4 months. And then turned in the unpaid balance to a collection agency.

Services are always announced in advance. Performed unobtrusively and use modern equipment neatly. Produce obvious results. When representatives are approached, they are cordial, well informed and answer questions clearly, even when Im disappointed in their answer. It is stated matter-of-factly with apologies.

Sales manager stopped by. Their only immediate repair is sod replacement, but not for 3 weeks, in case the Bermuda grass repairs itself. He also offered to fertilize again, a 3rd time, noting that this will fix it by encouraging growth. Lawn scalded multiple areas, by too much fertilizer. Fairway Lawns Greenville just lost 4 stars, due to no response to our written complaint plus pictures of burned grass from their most recent chemical applications. No instructions have been offered either, to try to repair our very expensive yard. Original review: We will continue to rely on Fairway Lawns and recommend that you do too.

I have received one treatment from Fairway Lawns. I noticed some minor reduction in my weeds. I called customer service number because I noticed that I had received another bank draft, yet NO lawn treatment. Im approaching 3rd month without any resolutions. Im playing pass the buck with customer regarding a refund for services not rendered. Im not satisfied with the services at all.

My Fairway Lawns Greenville customer no. is 5436353. Contracted Fairway Lawns in February 2024 for weed control of a new Bermuda grass lawn without weed (installed in September 2023). After three rounds of weed control done by Fairway Lawns, a weed issue is given - see photos. Fairway Lawns Greenville had been called in the morning of May 4th. I was promised to get a call from the manager the same day. Additionally a mail was sent. Meanwhile it is the evening of May 6th. Nothing so far. The contract given with Fairway Lawns is fixed for 8 rounds. The contract is binding. So, I contract a second company to do what Fairway Lawns is not doing properly. I cannot recommend Fairway Lawns Greenville.

I was told Fairway lawns was the best. Have used them for a year. BERMUDA Lawn looked green, uniform and few weeds when it went dormant. Over winter, the lawn was heavily sprayed with weed killer even when I spoke with manager, Rick, to only have the routine spring fertilizer put down. My spring lawn was not greening up. There are patches of dead grass. The tech note said 46% high nitrogen was sprayed. It burned my lawn. You can see the wavy dead spots where liquid was sprayed. I had rep come out. He was patronizing. Said it just needed warm weather. Everyone else on my street has green grass and I figure the temp is the same at my yard as theirs. I showed rep the bare earth patches and dead grass. He said it just needs some topsoil. Finally heard back from Fairway corporate but no follow up since then. Several neighbors used Fairway and have since cancelled. Its going to take time, work and $$$ to restore the lawn. This company went from great to GROSS.

Very happy with Fairway Lawns. After an application, a few weeds remained. I called and Taylor J. came out and spent extensive time spraying post emergent. Very happy with their services! Our lawn has never looked better.

My lawn was heavy with weeds in March, brought in Fairway Lawns and the first treatment was all of 4 minutes for a .6 acre lawn. Obviously not a lot of attention paid here. ABSOLUTELY NO impact to weeds. After numerous attempts to reach the local manager, with zero response, we decided to fire this service. It became apparent they dont know how to run a business with attention to a customers needs/concerns. This may be the WORST customer service experience ever for a homeowner service provider.

I have used Fairway the last 4 years with results being good until last summer when service results began to be poor with more weeds and problem areas of grass. This spring lawn has a lot of weeds. I called and sent a message thru the website a couple of weeks ago and was told the issue would be addressed but have not received any further response. At this point I plan on canceling and would not recommend Fairway.

Hard to determine the quality of service when my 1st treatment was rescheduled 3 times. The 1st reschedule I was not notified. The 2nd reschedule was better, I was notified 2 days after the scheduled appointment and after the 3rd reschedule, I cancelled service without ever receiving a treatment.

Not a fan! They came out and aerated my yard when I told them I just had it done and billed me for it. They came out again for the next treatment and posted a note saying can t treat with no explanation. They never show back up and send me to collections??? They are horrible. Don t waste your time. Their manager said he would take care of it since they dropped the ball and nothing happened. They are not good.

Updated: Sarah Beth at the call center is phenomenal. She understood my frustration. Willing to update this but right now not a good start. I signed up last week to start treatment on our lawn. I specifically told the lady we are out of town until Monday the 6th today. And don t come out before. We have dogs and a sitter there. They end up coming on the 2nd. Come on people!!! Communicate! It s in your notes. So now I can t get ahold of anyone locally. The local number doesn t work. Get it together please.

I set up service through this company and had a tech come out. He performed the first treatment and stuck their sign in my yard. A month went by and they never came back out. So I called to check in and they said I never contacted them after they provided the quote. Which is inaccurate. I even went so far as to set up my customer account with the account number that was provided on the slip the tech gave me when he was done with my first treatment. I tried to log back into my account and its been deleted. Poor business and customer service and the gentleman was super rude on the phone.

I used this company for over a Year. I just canceled service. I have weeds all over the yard. One Month I was sitting on porch and I saw the guy did not spray a section and he said he did. Told me he was trying to get employee of the Month. When they come they fly over the yard. Not good at all have spent a lot of money for a terrible looking yard.

They weren t doing my whole lawn when they were supposed to. Constantly having to call to get things fixed. I pre-paid for the year and that was a mistake. Needed to get a refund, they said they refunded it (they did not refund me of course). They only decided to give my refund after my card company threatened a charge back.

Had my yard treated for the first time. It still has weeds but I will give it time.

Called requesting an estimate. Op on the phone stated it will take about 4 business days for someone to show up and evaluate. they werent able to provide and aprox estimate over the phone. Waited and called back 5 business days later requesting an update rep said theres nothing reported on their end. A joke.

Proof is in the pudding. Grass looks amazing. Greenest it has ever been in the four years I have lived here. They pay very close attention to detail and they consistently deliver results throughout the growing season.

I started using Faiway Lawns this spring, after VERY disappointing results with the lawn service I had been using. When they began treatment of my lawn, it was filled with weeds, despite professional treatment by another company. My lawn looks beautiful now. I am hopeful that this will continue, with lawn care provided by Fairway Lawns.

After using another company that said it would take a year to get the weeds in my newly sodded yard under control, Fairway managed to do it in a month! Very happy.

My lawn was full of weeds and dead spots. In the first year they thought me a lot about Bermuda. Mowing height and what weeds to look for. Now 3 years later this is the outcome. Thick green Bermuda lawn.

I used Weed Man first. They did a good job until they got more customers. I then changed to Tru Green who absolutely ruined my lawn. They were awful! I have been using Fairway Lawns now for about 2 years and my Lawn is back and looking great. My service man Joseph does a great job. I have only had to call them back once. My lawn looks great.

Fairway Lawns does an outstanding job. Fertilizing, controlling weeds and fire ants. Treating the lawn and trees and shrubs keeps our yard looking great. They are polite, professional and call ahead before treating. They provide a thorough report on the service they have performed on each visit. If we see any problems, they are quick to respond and check it out. We have been customers for over 3 years and will definitely continue to use Fairway!

Overall great experience with Fairway Lawns. Just drive down any neighborhood and look for their signs in yards and compare those lawns to others around them.

Hired to do weed control and fertilization. Used for over a year to fulfilll contract. Fairway lawns killed $250 worth of plants with careless chemical application that now need to be repurchased and replanted. They did offer discounts on future service to compensate. If the service had delivered excellent results we would potentially be interested. The results have really been only mediocre. Grass it thicker, but still not great, weeds are still present consistently after over a year of application. We asked if we could be serviced by another representative, but they were not willing. I would not recommend. I really need to find another provider. Their prompt for this review may do just that. Update: After talking about damage and canceling service they not only have refused to compensate for damage, they are asking for another payment after accepting the cancelled contract. BUYER BEWARE!!! Find another service!

They do an amazing job not only taking care of my yard but also communicating with me!

Hired these guys earlier this year to do my entire year. Front yard looks great but back yard is struggling. I was home when he was at my house for the treatment. According to my cameras, he was here for all of 4 minutes and 30 seconds from time his truck stopped moving to the time the truck left. Checked all my cameras and while he goes up the driveway towards the back yard he just turns back around and doesnt treat my back yard (see pictures; time stamps are hard to read but the pictures are about 5 seconds apart). Still got charged for the full service and nothing was mentioned on my Service Summary. Based on the condition of my back yard, Im guessing this isnt the first time it hasnt been treated. Weeds are bad. Fair warning. Dont trust these guys.

Moving into a new house, we decided to quote several other companies prior to meeting Joseph. Joseph provided us with custom plan that worked for specific yard (bermuda sod + weeds). His personal touch and expertise are why we decided to go with the company and after first application we are beyond pleased with results!

After numerous complaints and no results despite retreating I cancelled my services. My son had just started with Fairway Lawn and his yard had dramatically improved. I called and Justin came and did a consultation. He was professional and seemed knowledgeable. They give a money back guarantee on your first service if you aren t satisfied. Justin did our first treatment yesterday. Holy moly... almost all of our weeds are dead!!!! WEEDS BE GONE!! FAIRWAY LAWN YOU EXCEL!!! We are so excited !!!

After taking on Fairway lawn to help get my yard weed free and greener the service seem to start out okay . After months of service I will say my yard did get greener. But sorry to say the weeds looked the same , I had to call many times to have them come back out because they kept forgetting to do the back yard . I was told that the request for them to come back out to actually do the work would not be a charged . They did charge me extra 90.00 which I found out when I went to purchase a car they place a collection on my credit report for the 90.00 without a certified letter letting me know about it . So my opinion is they charge you for jobs not done . Oh by the way I have ring , it would show them pulling up in the truck but not doing the work .

I have lived at my home now for over 12 years. At first I thought I would do the lawn myself, however my property is over a half acre, and takes a while to do all the things I needed to do. I finally got a lawn service to come over and cut my lawn, trim, etc... but I had all sorts of weeds, bare spots, etc... They would over seed and aerate, but my lawn still did not look good. I finally told a friend about it, and he suggested Fairway Lawns to me. I have been using them now for almost 6 months, and have seen significant improvement in my lawn. It looks green, healthy, and I hardly ever see any weeds anymore. I am a believer now, and love how Fairway Lawns has helped!

A switched to Fairway last winter but to late for pre-emergent. Regardless they were able to maintain the lawn in great condition throughout the year. The representative is extremely polite, knowledgeable and provides honest feedback. I have no complaints. I do get a lot of compliments from the neighbors.

Very knowledgeable and pleased with overall results. Prior to utilizing their service I used top turf and Gregory. I was dissatisfied with both companies and reached out to Fairway due to it was a pretty common sign in my neighbors yard. It was one of the best decisions that Ive made, I wish I would have made the decision sooner but Im also grateful that I had the other two experiences so that I could fully appreciate the difference in what they bring to the table.

Overall, service is worth the money. Only issue I have is that at times, the person oversprays in spots on the yard and the grass turns yellow for a bit until it grows back.

I started the service last year, as neighbors on both sides used them & their yards looked great. The young man that cane out & quoted the service was very thorough & personable. A few treatments later, a different tech showed up and treated my neighbors yard, but charged me. I contacted the company to make them aware & was put in contact with the manager of my area. He was unprofessional & a total a$$! I requested that the same young man who originally serviced my lawn, be the only one to come out. The company obliged for all but the last service of the year. That last service, and subsequent one, have been different techs. These techs were not treating the area I signed up for. I spoke to one of them a day I happened to be home & he assured me it would be corrected. It was not! I have security cameras and watched them. They again did not treat part of my back yard. I called last week to cancel my service. I had a credit from prepayment and asked how that would be returned. I was told a manager would return my call to let me know. Here it is over a week later and no call back. I just called them back to be told the previous person I talked to sent it to the wrong person. I was told I ll get a call back from the accounting department with how my refund will be issued. If the level of service I originally received would have continued, I never would have cancelled and would have five 5 stars.

They are obviously hurting for money because I just received a collection notice when I never signed a contract and told them I didnt need their service. And this was over a year ago. Please! If you applied a service after you were told not to, thats on you. NOT me. Reporting them to the BBB also. Another thing funny is all the reviews are good? Im the only one who had this issue? Doubt it.

These guys are good at what they do. Took a completely uncared for yard and made it better than all around it.

Very disappointed. We have used this company for two growing seasons. We were supposed to have fertilization and weed control service. The yard was weed -free and now it is 25% weeds. Owner refused to be helpful with correcting this problem. Not apologetic at all. He only offered to give us one month s free service when it s obvious the lawn has been neglected for many months, even though we get the sign placed in the yard on service day. Different weed control companies since then have told me that this amount of weeds took several months to accumulate. The owner was not very accommodating at all! Very disappointed in these people. My wife and I will tell the whole neighborhood!

Great service and results for over two years. Then our tech changed. The back last 25 feet of yard and under our swing set had many weeds. I called and reported it. I was told to just wait for a couple of weeks. No one came out. Six weeks later I call and was told it was my fault because a tech supposedly left message. I called main office and wow what an I opener that was. I was told that I needed to be patient. I have details and names. If interested contact me. And yes I have a new service. Past was 5 stars After change with tech was two stars Customer service less than 1 star

I had a not pleasure time working with them. The backyard has not been treated by tech, then the one got a lot of weed. To solve it, I went to Home Depot and both Week Killer to minimize the issue.

Very professional, I noticed fast results in the treatment of the yard. They are thorough with their services.

Poor communication and lack of care. Service man let our dog out and did not tell us promptly. If I hadn t gone outside at the time I did, he would not have done the service and would have driven off and never told us. I would have never found our dog or known what had happened. Multiple calls to office were unreturned regarding the situation.

This is my 4th season with Fairway. The service was not up to par this past year as I had a constant battle with lawn weeds.

Great service from Fairway. My tech Phillip is outstanding and always prompt and courteous service when i call the office.

So my neighbors recommended this company. And I read the reviews online. So I was skeptical. But I have it a shot. No contract. No hidden fees. The first treatment killed all of our weeds which was great. That s all I ve been mowing for years, mostly weeds and some grass. Within a week of the first treatment we had grass. It s astounding to us no how thick our grass is. Now we cut it less often than before and it looks so much better. I m a happy customer.

Do not use Fairway Lawns. I called and got set up with an account. Was told my first charge would be $24.95 and the following would be $48 for the remaining 7 rounds. I received a bill for a follow up new customer for $48. When I called to ask what that entailed, (since this was never discussed) they could not explain.

Had service with Scotts after moving to present location 2 years ago. Was satisfied and noted improvement but Scotts apparently sold out to another company and I was not satisfied at all. Finally stopped service and figured I would fertilize my own yard. Saw ad for Fairway and figured Id give it one more try and couldnt be happier. Fairway has exceeded my expectations. Every time they treat yard they leave report of what they did and what weeds they saw and what to do about them. The improvement in my yard is amazing.
