Scheduled PL to give an estimate for landscaping. They arrived and took measurements, etc. Never heard back from them after repeated calls from me. Seems to be a thing here in eastern NC. I'd recommend calling anyone else.
Total makeover of my backyard was done by Pirate Lawns and it looks wonderful! Wood decking was removed, replaced with patio pavers. Pool Steps - added a top board and a gate with a lock system. Wooden fence around the property was washed and stained. It looks like a new fence. Levi was in contact at all points and let me know what was going on which days. He was responsive to all questions and text. I trusted his judgment and it turned out wonderful. I would recommend him for any job.
I don't think we will ever be as satisfied working with any other landscaper after working with Levi from Pirate Lawns. From start to finish he was professional, organized, on time and an excellent communicator. We hired him to install French drains in our back yard and they came our perfect, he made sure to leave our yard better than we found it and I can't wait to work on our next project with him.
So happy with the clean up of my garden beds. Wish I had before pics to impress the magnitude of the change. Bermuda grass had taken over the side with my Japanese Maple. We had also never trimmed or Japanese Maple in the 14 years since we planted it. Levi trimmed it up beautifully as well. Thank you, Pirate Lawns.

We have had a great experience with Pirate Lawns. On several occasions, Levi has spent a lot of time with us talking through our needs and planning services. I really appreciate the automated system for submitting work requests, getting notice of scheduled service, and billing. We have been impressed with Levi's attention to detail for both regular lawn mowing and more extensive seasonal yard updates/clean ups.

I originally hired Pirate Lawns in the winter to clean up, trim, mow and put in new pinestraw. Since then, Levi and his team have done an excellent job caring for and maintaining my lawn. In addition to excellent work on my lawn, Pirate Lawns offers automated appointment reminders and automating invoicing the week after your appointment. These men do great work, and Levi has invested in technology and automation for a truly seamless, professional and excellent experience. 2024 update: Levi, and now Terry, who has taken lead on lawn maintenance while Levi does more landscaping and outdoor installations, continue to do great work on my lawn. Thanks to them, I have a beautiful lawn with no effort on my part. My backyard has a difficult to access hill above a retaining wall, and even this presents no challenge for them. I continue to be quite pleased by Pirate Lawns professionalism, quality of service, and their personnels affability.

Pirate Lawns is our one stop shop for all of our lawn and landscaping needs. Levi reworked our worn out backyard and turned it into a place of beauty and calm .even installing a grass mixture that would work in shady areas. Very talented and hard working.
I signed a contract with them that required notice from me to terminate, yet they didnt have the decency to call me and tell me they are overbooked- could no longer perform contact in hand. I was ghosted. and they have my credit card on file so payment was never an issue

I had a consultation with Levi from Pirate Lawns regarding a mulch installation and bush replacement. I was told I would receive a quote later on that day but never heard anything. I called, left a voicemail, and I also sent a text message to follow up a few days later and I still have not heard anything back.

Levi did an outstanding job! He is a very professional and hard working fella which seems to be a hard combination to find these days. Price was more than fair. Quite frankly, that bed of various plants of our yard was a mess; full of nasty weeds and small trees that simply should not be there. Stopped showing for what was supposed to be by-weekly lawn maintenance and won t respond to phone calls or text messages. Last time he actually came out to the residence, he then left and never performed services. Disappointed
