The service performed by Archie M all year long during 2024 and especially our aeration and overseeding in September has been great. We see lots of new grass sprouting up. Considering the fertilization treatment done today December 4th, designed to strengthen the new growth throughout the winter, we are looking forward to a lush, green lawn in the spring of 2025 thanks to Archie M from TruGreen.

I am with true green for several years now This is a. Scam in every way possible First they get you into contract with saying they do all yard later they treat only some areas They ask you to monitor every treatment and get back to them on any issues when you call The customer support is a scam they keep you on hold and waiting for long hours to with out any resolution I have video evidences of the team not treating the yard and almost always cutting corners in treating whole area. Finding a different service provider . Be aware of this scams .

10/23/24 Brandon visited my home for aeration and over seeding. He did a very through job of aerating the property as well as the young man who seeded behind him. Both young men reflected excellent customer service when I interacted with them and it was clear they had an excellent work ethic. I have a couple family members who have in the past and are currently using TruGreen and their grass looks great! My Lawn Specialist took time and care with my first TruGreen service this past week. After the service was over, all my question were answered and Alana s exhibited exceptional customer service. I m glad I made the call!

I also watched him as he worked and he was very thorough. He has performed services several times and is always mannerable and such a pleasure to work with. They charged me for twice the square footage for mosquito control. When I seen they was charging me for 22 gallons of spray and i watched the guy spray 2 gallons and leave. I know cause I have the same sprayer . When I called and told them all they offered was someone to come and recalculate my square footage they was not concerned at all with the service man saying he sprayed 22 gallons and only spraying 2 gallons. I wouldn t dare recommend this dishonest company to anyone . Charged 180 dollars a stop and still got eat by mosquitoes all summer !!

Today they sent somebody and he koncked on the door then he drove away his car and left without spaying thr grass.. then they sent me a message saying the service is complete... I called them and said they will tell the guy to come back but nobody showed up..they are charging big money but without anyservice

your service man preform what we needed at the time of service

The first year of my service was great with no issues. However, this year I ve had technicians drive by my house and mark the service as complete even though nothing was done, a technician inappropriately friend request me on Facebook, a technician just stopped and put a sign in my yard with no work completed and they turned back on a service I had canceled. I have cameras on my house that have recorded all of it. When I called customer service I was directed to a call center where I could barely understand the person as he was breaking up for half of the conversation. Will not be renewing next year as I would like to work with a company I can trust to do what they re paid to do.

Mediocre results, at best. They show up a few times, spray some chemicals and are off. The lawn has shown some improvement, but is certainly NOT worth the charge. Additionally, the salesman told me aeration was included when I signed up, come to find out it was not. When I called, the customer service representative, Shaun, actually told me that the salesmen lie to make a sale.

I have had them for almost 2 years now and my yard is getting progressively worse when it comes to weeds. I just recently requested them to reapply and when the technician showed up he marked that there were landscapers in the yard and it couldnt be done. I can assure you that I am the only person that does work in my yard. The customer service to get this corrected has been horrible at best with nothing more than disdain and attitude with some gaslighting sprinkled in. The only time they actually reach out to discuss anything is when there are problems with the yard that they can fix but only if you pay them more. Stay away from them, shop local, youll get better results and much better customer service

I want to thank Eric working the forklift in the Greensboro location. He was very professional and hard working. Unfortunately the supervisor Will was not helpful at all. You are most definitely an asset to Trugreen and hope the company see it the same.

The service I was provided was not very great. They came to put down products and did not have the supplies in their truck and I have an area of approximately 2 acres that they treat it took them five minutes :-) no, I do not think it was much of a service. I am not a person that post negative comments but this is not their best day.

This company may be the most difficult to work with of any company I have ever worked with. Communications are terrible, as everything is either done online or through a call center. Nearly impossible to communicate directly with your local office. Of course you cant cancel the service online. That requires multiple calls. Called again today to cancel, 3rd or 4th time. They refuse to give email confirmation; just a reference number which is pretty worthless. BEWARE of this company!

TruGreen aerated and overseeded my lawn at a cost of $289.00. My total cost for the TruGreen service is $761.69. I have an irrigation system and watered as per TruGreens instructions. Only approximately 50% of my lawn germinated. I have called TruGreen on numerous occasions and I was told each time that my issue would be expediated. To date no one has responded back to me regarding the issue. I plan to place a hold on my service until someone from TruGreen reaches out to me regarding this issue. I cannot foresee paying another $761.69 for 50% pretty grass and 50% no grass! Update: TruGreen did reach out to me and reseeded my yard. After germination, my yard looked great. I have been using TruGreen for several years now, and I am very pleased with the results of their work! Update 7/8/24 - We are very pleased with the results we are receiving from TruGreens services. We get lots of comments on our lawn!

In a word...dishonest. Sales sold me a package that included Fall aeration and seeding, which I did not receive. To be fair, they have scheduled me for a complimentary aeration and seeding this Fall, but well see if its done. A technician serviced the lawn today. His notes stated that he sprayed the entire lawn for broadleaf and weeds. I watched him on camera and he never set foot on 50% of my lawn and my lawn looks awful. All I can say is never again for me and Id never recommend their services. Ripoff.

The first guy that came out didnt do the hole yard. The second guy was good.

STAY AWAY! Signed up for 1 year service in August 2023, and then only the worst experience ever, nightmare and the worst customer service: 1. They made a mistake in square footage of my lawn, I spent 6 months to fix it with their customer service. Every time they come I had to ask them to service my back yard, not just front yard, because I paid for full area, however it took them 6 months to fix it in the system 2. Every time they come they just spray a little bit here and there, as a result lawn stays full of weed and I had to call them back to come to reapply, however square footage was incorrect in their system, so they underservice it again and again. 3. I was told that I paid for the service until August 2024, but they started charging me as of June. Took me 3 hours on the phone to waive it, telling them that I didnt sign up for additional services outside of my prepaid. 4. They always want to mislead you and make you sign up for the things. Look at the website, it says You have 4 services remaining for 2024, however it doesnt say whether it is within prepaid plan or you will have to pay for it on top. Website made the way that it is impossible to reconcile how much is left on your prepaid. 5. The worst customer service. Thousands of customer service representatives with heavy accent who hang up on you when you they dont want to deal with your issues.

TruGreen has made a significant difference in the health of my yard! Im glad I acquired their services last October. My yard is definitely one of the greenest in our neighborhood this Spring and Summer!

No services were rendered at all. They will lie and tell you that a technician will call you back. Don t wait on it. I have received detailed service tickets with information that was a complete lie. Save your money. Look for alternative lawn care.

Have to give at least one star for persistence. I made the mistake of putting my number down just so I could get a price. I had a pleasant conversation with the first caller and ultimately told them I wasnt interested. Since then I have received at least 10 phone calls in the last 24 hours. I block one number and they call with a different one. I answer and tell them to take me off the calling list yet THEY KEEP CALLING. This alone makes me never want to sign up for this service.

Very horrible service. Trugreen will be so sweet when they need you to get the service. Also never give them your credit card info they will charge you without you permission and than argue saying oh, its exactly work how netflix works. Really netflix tell u in writing you that you to cancel the service. Without my permission they have charge on both of my account. The supervisor (clarke)was so rude and started yelling at me, and sure didnt stick to what she was saying.

Paid over $600 for the first year up front to make my grass TruGreen but on each visit, it list the service they done was Mosquito Control. Why am I paying $600 for someone to come out to spray mosquito repellent?

After reviewing my cameras, this person did not perform my service. They put a tag on my door that it was done but didn t actually do anything. His truck was parked for less than 6 minutes! I don t have all angles of my yard on camera but I know he didn t do anything to 85% of the yard. I was already upset because I prepaid for a year but only received 7 treatments before they started charging me again.

Ill start but saying that almost to a person, everyone that weve dealt with at TruGreen as been very pleasant. However all, we wanted was nice green grass coverage throughout the backyard and especially around the pool area. However, this is what the backyard looks like after 8 months of lawn service. Unfortunately, not anywhere close to the expectations set of providing a guaranteed healthy green lawn which we spent a good deal of money on all upfront last year. To say we are disappointed would be an understatement.

1st time customer

While I was never a TruGreen customer I did however, reach out for a quote. Consumer beware! From the moment you submit your information you will be inundated with calls from multiple numbers, multiple times a day. It was so bad I refused to use their service just because of this reason and I had to call to request that I be put on the do not call list.

Technician didnt take care of the back yard Just left a note stating the gate was locked. NEITHER of my gates were locked. Besiides, we were home! Didnt even knock to ask. Called and requested them to come back. They said it would be 1-3 days. Requested to speak with a manager. They said it would be 1-3 days. Requested them not to charge until they completed the task. They charged anyway. Guy on the phone was not speaking clearly and sounded very uneducated. WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN!

BEWARE THEY ARE A SCAM!!! I ve been billed for this same service three times within a week! Then they have the audacity to say welp u just have to wait for 3-5 business days for the money to be back in the acct. Also they came the one day that I said no one could be on the lawn since it was going to be treated by a different company for pest control. I m very disappointed this happened I had high hopes that they were going to be a good service but now I think I m just going to have to cancel my card.

True Green service kept me updated on todays service. The service rep went right to reseeding the lawn, then completed the air ration of the yard. I have had the service several years now,and the lawn looks better every year.

We ve been using TruGreen for a little over one year, and they have restored our lawn after several years of neglect. Margaret P is an especially talented Technician who knows the science of the services being rendered but also knows her customers and my lawn! She s able to explain the what and why of the process to me and then operate the equipment to make it happen! She s an excellent Ambassador for the TruGreen company!

We had the lawn plugged and reseeded. The whole lawn was suppose to be done, however it appears many parts did not get plugged and some sections did not get over seeded, it appears only our back yard was done. This company is difficult to get to the local office, seems things have to go to the 800 number.

Sitting in line at Dunkin and the guy in front of me is ordering and this truck comes and cuts him off. I will never use this company just for the fact you hire people who do things the wrong way. Just to add to it. I had a crying baby in the car. I hope you speak to your team so this doesn t happen in the future.

We have been using TruGreen for a few years now and are very happy with the service! We have a lot of trees and always struggle to keep it green. In the spring the lawn is always plush and vibrant.

This company is a waste of time... was paying for services we did not need. My yard had more grass when we first called them. Terrible waste of time... THE WORST!!!!

Trugreen sent someone to my property on 11/20 to do lime and fertilizer. Instead the individual lied and put a note on my door and a paper signifying job done. I checked behind him- NOTHING was done. I called Trugreen and was apologized to and told the service would be done at No cost to me. I then received a bill in the mail for $90.36. I called and was told I d have to pay the cost after the service was performed next week. So not only did the technician lie but Trugreen customer service did as well. Don t trust these people with your property- I never will again.

TruGreen does a great job keeping my lawn and shrubs looking healthy. When I compare what I pay them to what I had been paying at Home Depot or Lowes, the price is really close. Trugreen applies it better and I don t have to mess with it.

Tough to write much about this, They come, do the job, hang the write-up on the door, and leave. I have been using them for years with good results. Highly recommended.

In the beginning services are great. After a few visits the techs dont show and charge you. Services are cut shorter and shorter until your lawn looks terrible. We had to pay for a service we did not recieve. Our team was from Greensboro. Stay away!

Matthew W did a great job today spreading fertilizer! Very conscientious to cover all areas thoroughly. Extra effort was paid in removing fertilizer from all hard surface areas. Really good job!

So frustrated with this service. Aerated and seeded in October. I still had no grass grown in my yard. I contacted the number listed, but no response. Spend over $700 for seeding and other stuff.
