I cannot say enough good things about Pristine Acres. Steve and his team just finished our project and we could not be happier. They did an incredible job. Pristine makes every part of the process as easy as possible. Our back yard presented quite a challenge for them as it is almost straight hill going up. We first met with Steve who had a vision for the backyard that seemed almost impossible. But when we met with the rest of the team, we were convinced the dream he shared with us was indeed possible, with just a little grading and a couple retaining walls, and the walls are so beautiful they actually add to the beauty of the outdoor space. Kevin, Pristine's chief designer is simply a creative genius. His eye for making the project beautiful is beyond compare. He helped us to make the very best selections my wife to ensure my wife and I got just what we wanted. And he stays with the project until the end! Mike also has creative ideas of how to most efficiently make the project beautiful and keep us within budget. Matt and Shawn are the general construction managers and both are on top of every detail. My wife and I have done numerous remodels and renovations over the past few decades and none of those projects was as headache free as the construction of our pool and an amazing pavilion (the pavilion perfectly matches our home thanks to Kevin). Shawn was our main point of contact throughout the process and his attention to detail is outstanding. We saw him at our house daily. He ALWAYS did everything he could to please us, no matter what we requested. He is now considered part of our family. We got constant updates from the front office via Jessie who always made sure we were up to date. The most incredible thing is that Steve Waldron, the President of the company, is never more than a phone call away. He sets a high standard for responsiveness and customer service, and it runs through every Pristine employee we met. I recommend Pristine Acres without a single reservation. They are simply the best. If I could give six stars, I would not hesitate to do so. They are that good. In sum, they are the masters of creating outdoor beauty.
We just completed a large back yard project with Pristine Acres and we couldn't be more thrilled with how it turned out. The end result is amazing but just as amazing was our experience and every member of the Pristine team. Every single step of the way these guys blew us away. Their responsiveness, their attention to detail, their professionalism, the timeline to completion...everything, made us feel like they truly cared about making it perfect and making us happy. We absolutely love the elegant backyard oasis with spa, pool. and waterfall that Pristine Acres created for us! The pool is a huge hit with our kids and the waterfall/lights look gorgeous at night. We also love our outdoor kitchen with BBQ, pizza oven, and fridges as well as our other covered area that has a fireplace and TV. Highly recommend this company- they are so professional and do amazing work. :)
We recently completed our project with Pristine Acres and we could not be more pleased with the outcome. From start to finish, this project exceeded our expectations. We recently asked Pristine Acres to create a multi-purpose backyard sanctuary where we would be able to host gatherings and form memories with friends and family. The talented Pristine Acres team masterfully made this vision reality and completely transformed our backyard into a space that has earned compliments from all that have had the pleasure of seeing and enjoying it. From my introductory on-site meeting with Steve, through the design process guided by Kevin’s creative vision to the construction stages and final landscaping phase coordinated by Mike, every step of this process was seamless, thoughtful and client-centered. Weekly updates from Jessie and accurate organized invoices made the entire process smooth, transparent and worry-free. At no point did I feel that my expectations were not being met or my questions unanswered. During the project, our needs had evolved somewhat due to changing personal circumstances but the Pristine Acres team and their creative vision evolved to accommodate those changes without hesitation and without compromising their original commitment to our satisfaction. As further reassurance, they have stood behind their work and I am confident that they will be quick to address any issues that may arise in the future. While I am thrilled that the project is complete, I do miss my regular interactions with the Pristine Acres crew. In the end, they left me with a beautiful deck above a luxurious covered patio with an elegant gas fireplace, an inviting outdoor sitting area with a wood burning fireplace and a tranquil sunken patio with a gorgeous water feature. Their final landscaping and lighting accents perfectly compliment the stylish transitional hardscape. The final result and the smooth process from start to finish were worth every dollar spent! Pristine Acres hit it out of the park! We are overjoyed at how beautiful our new outdoor living space is. From our initial consultation to the final walk through of the project, we received thoughtful, quality work with very close attention to detail. It was important to us to find the right balance between aesthetics and functionality and the team married the two seamlessly. They provided us with a streamlined experience centered around our needs as the customer. The project managers kept in contact about what processes would be happening next and were always available to answer any questions. The best part of all was working with such professional, honest, and kind people. When we embarked on such a large project, we knew we had to get it right, and Pristine Acres delivered past our expectations.
Everything we never knew we wanted. I honestly believe that Steve and Kevin envisioned our Treetop Oasis the first day we met. I ve read several five star reviews of Pristine Acres and must say that I agree with every last one. I ll do my best to convey what an incredible experience this has been but I feel I may fall short. It s been beyond extraordinary; 1) the team, 2) the design, 3) the execution, 4) the management, 5) the customer service, 6) the follow up. It started with a couple questions which (believe it or not), not one other builder we met with asked, What did you have in mind? Who are you looking to entertain? Simple questions but never having had a pool, we didn t know what we wanted. What we did know was that our backyard would be challenging since our house sits on top of a major slope. In fact, many of the builders we met with (high end luxury builders at that) didn t even want to tackle the slope issue. Instead, they recommended we tear down a number of trees to get to where the ground levels before building. Pristine not only tackled the slope issue, they embraced it and built a resort that makes you feel at one with nature. As I sit in the hot tub and look out over the space they ve created, I feel as if I m sitting in a treehouse. It s truly breathtaking. To all those looking to hire an outdoor design/build firm, I highly recommend Pristine Acres. To Steve, Kevin, Shaun, Byro, Dave, and Crew...thank you from the bottom of our hearts for building our dream backyard and for doing it with excellence and grace.

We had the pleasure of meeting Steve and Kevin at Pristine Acres early on in the exterior design phase of our new custom home. After that first meeting, we knew we would be partnering with Pristine Acres for our entire exterior project. Every aspect of the build, from the initial design phase to the construction phase, has exceeded our expectations. Their creativity and imagination for our design surpassed anything we could have imagined. Steve and team have truly created an amazing resort style outdoor setting for us which we could not have envisioned. Our sincerest thanks to Steve, Kevin, Mike and Matt W. (our project manager) who oversaw the entire construction phase. Matt has been a fantastic team member who made sure the entire project has come to fruition as envisioned. It would truly be a disservice for anyone considering an exterior home project to not meet with Pristine Acres for a consultation.
We partnered with Pristine Acres on a modern design for our backyard and landscaping. We had a new construction home build and we wanted to find someone who could deliver on a design that looked perfectly in sync with the home. Pristine Acres did such a phenomenal job on the entire project. We could not have been happier with the outcome. From the initial meeting it was clear that Pristine was the only team that had the talent, drive and personnel to pull off our project. The original design that they came up with just blew us out of the water. It was, in a word, perfect. Having gone through the entire process from start to finish we were also blown away by how real the initial renderings looked vs. the final outcome. They were spot on. A huge credit to the Pristine team is to the high level of detail they put into the execution. Everything was done with such care and high quality - and with fantastic materials. Another real rarity was that once they came up with the cost estimate and contract that they stuck to it throughout the process. They didnt come back asking for adjustments or price increases/add-ons. This was incredibly refreshing. They are also deeply invested in the landscaping side with incredible depth of knowledge on all different types of plants/trees and how to care for them. Every single plant, tree and uplight was hand-picked and chosen with purpose. The entire design of the backyard and landscaping has such interesting and unique elements - many weve never previously seen in our area. Ever since weve moved in weve gotten so many different compliments and oohs and ahhs over the way everything looks. Suffice to say that everyone has been blown away. We could not recommend using Pristine Acres more and are sure that youd be well served (and impressed) by going with them!

Where to begin with how amazing Steve and the entire team is! I fear words will fail me as there arent enough accolades or praise I can give! If you want truly custom, someone who will listen to you, who values your happiness above all else, who takes the utmost pride in what they do, who just gets it and is easy to work with - look no further. We hired an architect - they failed. Stopped listening to us, didnt get our vision, & didnt care. Then we called a few other companies and no one truly understood the very modern aesthetic of our house and how we wanted that to carry into our backyard. They had templates and cookie cutter ideas that you could see replicated throughout their portfolio in different recipes. And none of it went with out house or made sense. But Steve GOT IT! He was leaps and bounds above everyone else and was the only one who was on the same page as us from the start. He and Kevin were the ones who took my vision and launched it into the stratosphere. If Steve had not recommended the materials he did, when everyone else wanted to use the same material Ive seen over and over that wasnt that special, it 1000% would not be the wow factor project that it is today. He communicated well with us, but most of all he CARED. He & Kevin took such tremendous pride in what they were doing, and we truly felt cared for. We felt like we, and our project, truly mattered to them, and that they held themselves to a certain standard that matched, if not exceeded, ours. They are amazing. Hands down. Hire them now! We did and are on phase 2 & 3 with them 2 years later because they are so amazing! Cant imagine working with anyone else - theyre the best!
Steven was the consummate professional. From the beginning of the project to the end, he was responsive, professional, provided a great product at a great value, and meticulous in his construction. He helped create the vision that not even I could foresee. Totally pleased with the workmanship and craftsmanship. Pristine Acres did our rock and paving work for our pavillion and around our pool. Steve Waldron is amazing at getting the right look for our pool area. Of all the contractors we interviewed, Steve Waldron showed the most excitement and vision. He was easy to reach when we needed him and quick to fix any issues that arose. The end product is amazing and something we will enjoy for years to come. We enjoyed working with Steve on our project and highly recommend him to anyone else.
We originally hired Steve Waldron of Pristine Acres to construct a pavilion and a patio around a pool based on a recommendation from a large pool company. We got a lot more than what we bargained for. We got a complete general contractor who handled all of the aspects of the project from site work to completion. Not only did Steve provide the product he bid on, but he worked in conjunction with the home owners association, pool company, landscaping, exterior lighting, sprinkler systems, outdoor kitchen and fireplace, decking, fencing, a new driveway and the A/V system. To be honest, he did not work in conjunction with them, he scheduled, met with and handled all of the meetings with all of the subcontractors and inspectors. No matter what was going on with this backyard transformation and what sub was responsible for it, there was only one call to make if it hadnt already been handled and that was to Steve at Pristine Acres. When the final inspectors came from our homeowners association, they said It is paradise back here - you never need to go on vacation again. They were right. Steve and his company take great pride in their work and the finished product and have transformed by average back yard into a Pristine Paradise. Thank you Steve.
Northern Virginia is littered with landscape companies. From my personal experience, most of them are more interested in a quick buck than in truly taking care of a customer and building a relationship. Steve, Jeff and the Pristine Acres crew are a rare find and have always gone out of their way to get the job done right and take care of the customer. These guys are clearly in the business of building long-term relationships with clients and making sure they deliver what they promise. Honesty and integrity go a long way with me...I recommend these guys without hesitation.
