The owner Steve came out to my property to remove a stump. He hit my driveway 3 times with the stump grinder. He then left, not even making me aware of the damage. He did cover the broken driveway with debris so I couldn t notice the damage. (very sneaky and unethical) I filed an insurance claim with his insurance and he cancelled the claim and said he would compensate me. It s been two months now. My driveway is not fixed nor have I been compensated nor will they call me back. Very poor business practice. Lawyers have been hired and now I have the headache of collecting in court.

From the first quote to the last branch trimmed and leaves removed... this was an excellent experience! I love the white oak in my front yard and I put my trust in the crew and they did a great job to trim the tree and keep it healthy... while making my home safer. Last week, Larrys Lawn Service & Snowplowing took down 3 trees at my mother-in-law s place. Her house is surrounded by woods, the grass is thin and not real dense. She was worried that the equipment would damage the grass and the sprinklers. The crew was very careful not to run over any of the sprinklers, there was one that was very close to where trees would be dropped; they covered it with one of the thick mats used to protect the lawn. We were extremely impressed with Larry s Tree Service. The workers were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. We had an extremely large tree taken down from the front of our home that was just a few inches from our front porch. The tree took almost an entire day to get down as the workers were carefully cutting the tree protecting our home as well as staying safe. The entire neighborhood got a kick out of how involved this tree cutting process was! We are so happy with the service and recommend to anyone! Very good communication and service.

I have used Larrys Lawn Service often over the years. This year they helped renovate my back yard. They pulled out all the old, overgrown shrubs. They leveled the remaining yard and installed fresh sod and shrubs. They worked on all the fine touches to make the backyard an oasis again.

I have used Larry s twice now for stump grinding. They are reasonably priced, and even showed up the same day I called. Work was finished quickly - very pleased with their service

We had a major tree come down in the recent storm while we were out of town. Our experience started with Larrys Tree Service answering the phone the very next day. The service rep got my information and said that someone would be in touch soon. Later that day I received a reasonable quote via text. Within a day or two, the tree was completely gone. A couple of days later, the stump was removed, fill brought in and re-seeded. It was like it never even happened...all completed in a couple of days, with prompt, professional service. With my undiagnosed OCD, I am pretty tough to please and Larrys Tree Service exceeded my expectations! Thank you!

I emailed the company after having damage to our yard twice after snow plowing and the snow was pushed was up almost to our porch. Received a very snarky, rude response from Steve Johnson Its your snow Im only moving it. I wont take the snow with me. Have a great weekend. Also never reseeded in the spring as promised in the email. Never again. Damaged our planter boxes another time, but I didnt bother mentioning to them as it was obvious they could give a rip about customer service.

I was recently doing some research into local companies to provide Fall Cleanup and Snow Removal services , and I came across Larrys Lawn Service. A very good friend of mine has been using their service for most of the year this year , so I asked him about his experience. I was absolutely disgusted by what I heard. In this day and age , with everything going on in the world , I cant believe Larry and his employees would conduct business how they have been. Serious lack of communication in the office , a TERRIBLE presentation of professionalism when presented with an issue , and absolutely ZERO desire to provide a humane level of customer service. I wouldnt trust this business or anyone they are affiliated with for service in any way shape or form.

Larrys was extremely responsive and even more efficient than I expected. Tried to get three quotes from reputable companies and Larrys came out the next day, while another came a week later and one didnt call back for two weeks. The other company said the job would likely take three days and Steve from Larrys said it would take 8-10 hours. Sure enough, they got the job done in less than 8.5 hours and their three workers literally worked non-stop. Would absolutely hire them again for anything related to trees as they do high quality work efficiently. Highly recommended, great local company.

Two 95 ft. tall Cherry trees needed removal as they were drilled with woodpecker holes and endangering out buildings. Larrys Service responded quickly to my call and did an outstanding job of removal and cleanup for easily the best price around. These guys are the best!!!.

Very rude , terrible job

I contacted Larrys Tree Service about a week ago and they came out to cut down a 40 ft tall pear tree. Crew came out and did a fantastic job. Next day they came out and ground out a stump and did a really solid job of that and cleaning it up. I would recommned Larrys to anyone. Thanks for a great job.

These guys are wonderful. Friendly and professional. They also did a fantastic job with the work. We had a few old pine trees removed, stumps ground out and a super large maple tree trimmed in the backyard. We would definitely recommend Larrys to anyone !

Excellent service with trimming large tree branches and shrubs recently. Quick response time and thorough cleanup. They also removed a large tree from our front yard last year and ground the stump, leaving no mess and no trace of the tree. Highly recommend this company!

We had a nightmare of an elm tree in our yard, randomly drops large branches on clear non windy days. We got a few estimates, Larrys beat all of them. What drew me to the company was seeing their convoy of work trucks drive past my house, they have really neat toys and I know anyone that spends that kind of money on equipment is someone that takes a great deal of pride in their business. We really liked the idea of not having heavy bucket trucks in our yard. For the job itself, these guys were amazing!!! Arrived first thing in the morning as I was getting home from work, the crew was very professional and friendly even taking time on one of their cooling off breaks to meet and pet our new puppy. They got the tree down faster than I expected them to, cleaned all the limbs and sticks, raked the work area and were loading their equipment back onto the trucks before I could even thank them and tell them how good the yard looked and how happy we are not to be dealing with that tree anymore. All of this on one of the 90+ degree days too! The only problem that I have is Google will only let me give 5 stars. I would definitely use these guys again!

Lets compare Larrys to all other typical vendors out there. What you get when you call Larrys is someone picking up the phone and talking to you. Then they actually do what they say they are going to do, and they show up on the day they say they will show up. I know this may seem like what every business should do, but Larrys does this consistently. If you want something done, just call Larrys. They make it easy.

Very rude. This company plows my boyfriends trailer park. These trailers do not have driveways so we all have to park outside the houses. I parked outside my boyfriends house (not in the middle of the street, pulled off to the side where I always park) waiting to pick up my 1 year old daughter. The snow plow came and pulled up extremely close to my vehicle and just honked at me. I was forced to park around the corner and my boyfriend had to walk, in the freezing cold, with my daughter to my van. About a week later my boyfriend parked where he has always parked for the last 5 years of living there and the plow guy started shaking his head at him and rolled down his window to tell him you cant park there or Im gonna plow you in literally the only place outside of his house there is to park

We had trees down because of the winter weather. Larry came the same day and quoted the job. It was a great price. The guys came and they were done in hardly anytime. They cleaned the yard and took all the debris. I asked if they would cut the river birch logs and even carried them down to my patio. Now that s service! I recommend this business highly.

We recently contacted a few companies for quotes on a tree and stump removal. Larrys had a faster response time and a better quote. But, what really inspired me to leave a review--was their service. I was very satisfied with how the employees worked professionally and efficiently together to cut down and remove the tree. The final clean-up was beyond satisfactory! There was no sign of branches, twigs or even leaves left behind. They went so far as to clean-up the slight traces in the road--where their trucks had been parked. (I cannot tell you how many times I have witnessed lawn maintenance crews blowing debris in the road--just to be left there!) I feel that I should also mention, that this coincided with a storm that had left many trees and branches down all over town. So, in comparison to the other companies results in our own neighborhood alone, I know that we made the best choice! I (and even some of my neighbors!) would highly recommend employing Larrys Lawn Service!

Grind, Go, Charge. This should be the motto of the company. They came and gave me an ok price for some stump grinding. Once the work was complete not only did they leave a huge mess but a huge bill. they charged me for their own incompetence. I was charged for stump removal and also bc their worker broke his own machine. There was an extra charge for someone not knowing how to operate their machine or how to do their job. I hired the job out to have a worry free experience and ended up getting charged for this mistake. Would not recommend or use their services again.

Terrible service and results. I called them for a tree removal and I though the price was high, but need it done so agreeded to the price. They came out a week later then was scheduled, and destroyed my property. The tree trunk fell on my driveway and cracked it in half. I asked how they were going to handle it. I was told they were a tree company not a concrete company. So while the tree was removed it also came at the cost of a very expensive driveway repair(that I had to pay for) and almost damage to my house. I would not use them again or recommend to anyone that has any work near your house or anything.

Terrible. Hired Larrys Stump Grinding and Tree Service to remove the sump of a Rose of Sharon bush. The job was not completed and 40% of the stump and root system was left behind. For a company who has Stump Grinding in their name, they should be able to do the one task they advertise.

I had Larrys cut down several trees in my backyard. They had to deal with un-even ground, a creek, a fence and swing-set. Did a great job of picking up and leaving no trace that they were ever there... except for a few less trees.
