Tru Green came out to complete horticultural work in my Crepe Myrtles to keep bugs and harmful growth from growing on them. My crepes are absolutely beautiful throughout the year due to this treatment. Thank you, TruGreen

While I ve had different techs service my lawn, Melbin (yes Melbin with a B!) is by far one of the most respectful and knowledgeable. He demonstrates patience and a thorough understanding of my concerns. I hope TruGreen can continue to maintain employees like Melbin - it just makes good business sense!

UPDATE: Someone contacted me shortly after my initial review. Over the next couple of days TruGreen worked to resolve my concerns and verified the service I was promised. They have since retreated my lawn at no additional cost and I will still receive the remaining service visits. I had a chance to speak with the technician to apologize for assuming he didnt do his job. He was very kind. I also hope that the salesperson is provided an opportunity for training so this does not happen to anyone else. I greatly appreciate the quick response from TruGreen and their willingness to resolve my issue. I will provide another review once I see my grass is happy. It feels like weve been scammed by a reputable company. We dont have $800 to give away. Had our 1st treatment and assessment today for about 4 minutes. 7960 square feet treated in 4 minutes. We have cameras around our whole house. I dare you to find the tech on any of them. We were home! Who tries to cheat someone while they are looking at them. We have cameras and big windows and neighbors with cameras. Geez!! I am beyond disappointed and regretting ever dialing this number. I called customer service and I really hope this company fixes it. I am truly in disbelief and upset.

Derrick got my side yards with weed spray. He was only supposed to fertilize but didn t hesitate when I asked for that extra service. This last time the weeds are overtaking the side yards. He was very conscientious and willing to do what I asked.

Today was my very first TruGreen experience Santino and Cleon are both very knowledgeable answered all my concerns. Both Santino and Cleon were very professional in all a Great 1st experience!

I was satisfied with the aeration job. Do also do liquor aeration?

Melbin was so respectful of my personal space. I was having an early dinner and he kindly took a few steps back on my porch so that I felt comfortable.

The people that come out are all doing a good job. I have been expecting for someone to come out and do aeration service, that hasnt happened. I have owed my home for 23 years and it has never been done. I got the plan I have because I wanted to get all of the services. Also my yard has been treated with weed killer, some have died but there is still a lot of weeds growing.

Melbin was very polite and took the time to explain today s lawn treatment. He also listened to my concerns regarding Dallis grass and treated those areas accordingly. He noted that I have a dog and provided instruction on safety precautions for my dog-which was above and beyond my expectations.

Poor and pathetic service. Even after the contract end-date, TruGreen continued to charge me without knowledge. For the past few months, I have been attempting to contact them to find why they have done so. However no response from them till now. Very poor customer service. They automated service do not provide options to talk to a live agent. Do NOT use TruGreen ever. They are not true to their business.

Montana M was courteous and polite. He provided a basic assessment of the lawn and informed me he was applying weed treatment today and someone else would come out to discuss treatment of insects. Since I stressed how important it was to treat the insects and disease that was killing my grass during my initial phone call, I was disappointed that wasnt addressed first. No reflection on Montana but on the Tru-Green program overall.

Requested a retreat for the weeds. They were very responsive and scheduled the appointment the following week. Our tech followed me around the yard as I pointed out the problem areas and he applied weed control on each area. He then walked the entire yard looking for any other areas that needed treatment. Great service from Tommy.

Well, I can say that the 2 techs they sent back to redo my yard did what they were suppose to do the first time. It pays to have cameras all the way around the house. To see if you are getting what you pay for. Thanks Nick

There is no way my husband could keep up with weed control and keep our lawn in such good shape without True Green. They use the right products and know how to efficiently apply them. John Staley, our last lawn expert went above the standard service we normally receive. He applied a treatment to rid the dreaded nuts hedge. We so appreciated that. John truly cares about the service he provides. Normally we experience techs that arrive, apply fertilizer, and they are done. Not with John. He made sure he took care of other weeds that other techs don t bother to address. Fantastic job John Staley!! You are a valuable asset to True Green.

Drop the ball the first day of service and I prepaid for an entire year so I immediately canceled this.. because if they drop the ball the first day Im not dealing with it for the rest of the year... I was going to use them for three services for fertilization for my lawn bug control on my lawn and mosquito spray but they dropped the ball and lost this girls business

I am always able to speak to the technicians that come to service my yard and get excellent long tips on how to care for my yard. They all work very hard and do a Great job.

I can t comment on the quality and value just yet as I haven t seen an improvement quite yet but it s only been 2-3 weeks.

3 treatments in stay as far away as you can. Watched my neighbors cameras as well my own they didnt even apply anything to my lawn the past 3 treatments, should have checked cameras earlier when I didnt see results. Cant trust these guys or at least the Specialist they sent me.

I had specifically requested them to notify us upon their arrival so that we could assess their work. However, they neither called nor rang the doorbell when they reached my property. I had explicitly instructed TrueGreen during a call not to initiate the service unless someone from my household was present. Upon checking my camera footage, it seems they left within 3 minutes. The technicians who performed the last service also executed their job in a careless manner. The fertilizers were not only on the grass but also scattered across my back patio and driveway. When I initially signed up for this service, I was informed that I would begin noticing results within 2 weeks, which hasnt been the case so far.

I was checking his arrival on my phone and he arrived before my phone tracked him. I only need treatment on my front lawn, and he entered the backyard without me, knowing that he was there. Thankfully the dog that hates strangers was not able to get to him on time! Now that we have met each other, he knows that he can t go in that yard because that dog is Crazy. I went out and spoke with him, and he was professional and understanding and knowledgeable. Now that we know each other, we know what to expect it.

What I mean by good quality as I do like the product that TruGreen offers its customers to help get rid of the weeds and to thicken the lawn my lawn when it s applied correctly the area of improvement is communication. Communication between TruGreen and I although that has improved a couple of notches.

My husband and I were home when ZAVIAN arrived. He immediately went to work on the lawn in the front of our home. Later, he went clockwise And counter clockwise , until he had finished the front and side yard. He quickly finished the yard lawn and left when the job was done.

Christian was here to treat the bushes and my Crete Myrtle. I spoke with him and asked questions. He s very knowledgeable and personable. My shrubs are looking so much better now! Thank you

Santino C has been the best tech that has come here over the past year. He has explained to me everything, every time he comes for my lawn service. Santino C is great Tech!

Trugreen technicians are hit or miss. Ive noticed they do well if youre actually present at home but if not, they skim the yard insanely fast according to their arrival and leave times. I wouldnt be shocked to find out they dont do anything at all at times. Do yourself a favor and only go with them if you can be present and supervise their work. If you dont feel like doing that dont waste the money. Take care of the yard yourself. Its a pain but in the end even with their service, the inconsistency they provide still has you pulling weeds consistently yourself to keep it nice. if this was a $300-400 service, i might could live with that but for $800/year i dont expect to have to monitor their employees to know theyre actually doing everything they claim theyre doing. I recently caught the last technician not doing my whole front yard or even go into the backyard as i suspected and immediately called and cancelled my service then and there. Do better guys and figure out a way to hold your technicians accountable for their work.
