Rudy is the best employee of trugreen, and he is knowledgeable, customer oriented, and does a fantastic job. This makes trugreen even better company than it always has been.

First time using them was the beginning of this summer 23. Water has been on the same timer for 7 years and I see it go on every morning. They overfertilized and burned my lawn killing over half of it by late June. A tech comes out to look end of July and tells me the soil is too dry, it has not been overfertilized. I have a degree in environmental science. I have studied soils science, water quality, plant biology etc. Once the grass was gone there is no soil cover vegetation to retain moisture. That is why the soil is dry Karen! lol I will be discontinuing my service.

This lawn care company is as far as I am concerned is a ripoff. The treatment for most of the visits consisted of a habs held spreader and lest than 7 minutes. The last visit was a airration abd supposed to be an overspray seeding. I didnt see any overspray nor did they do the whole yard. I have been waiting for about a week for a call back by this company and the local office wouldnt answer the door when I tracked down the address and the main phone line says they have no way yo contact them. I will be asking for a full refund from them. DONT USE THIS SERVICE.

Called true green to upgrade a service. The automated system says that my hold time would be close to two hours. For cying out loud, hire more people to man the phones or hire Filipinos if you cant handle that. Two hours is ridiculous!

Rudolph Atencio does an awesome job on our lawn. He truly cares about his job. Our lawn is like velvet and weed free He knows just what to do every season. Thank you.

Had a simple request for a service, ready to sign a long term contract and they responding rudely. Unprofessional that early, Ill just turn around and find someone locally.

We switched to TruGreen this year buy not sure if the heat is to blame or what. We are not as green this year. But I cant say its them..still w watching my service.

I am very happy with the lawn service, my grass went from sad and brown to green and beautiful in not much time at all. Only reason for 4 star is that they separate their services instead of making a full yard care package at one payment. I like the yard fertilization, aeration , and mosquito control services they just need a package deal.

Multiple charges made to my account for one service (10× the service fee paid, nearly $700!) by Trugreen. They stated that This happens sometimes. When we discussed reimbursement Truegreen stated it would take 24-48 hours. We returned call 72 hours later since the funds hadnt been reimbursed. Tonya Young, the manager stated it was our banks fault. So, we had the bank on the line in a 3-way call. When pressed by knowledgeable people Trugreen could not explain the reimbursement process nor connect to anyone/department that could. We have been banking with USAA for 20+ years and have never had this issue, nor have we had this issue with any other business. . .ever. But our initial interaction with Trugreen results in this. I recommend finding another business for your your lawn care needs. If you elect to use Trugreen you may not want to give them access to charge your account.

Our grass is growing more weeds then ever and weeds are growing all over the place. TruGreen doesnt even go in the back yard to spray but, they charge me for it. Called and scheduled to talk to a manager, no call for a month now. Going to dispute the fraudulent charges and take you guys to small claims court if we dont get something figured out. This isnt rocket science people.....

Weed control was great, Pest control great, fertilizer great too. Some of the local techs are great some are not. We asked about reseeding a bare spot a month ago, and the tech said we do that in starting in August. He mentioned that in spots like that also put some some hay or peat moss to hold in the moisture. Fast forward to when it happens, aeration was done but ran out of seed, we had to call to get the seeding rescheduled as it was marked as complete. Two weeks later they come to reseed and dont do it. Come back three days later they put down seed on a windy day so it blows all over the place, and no peat moss. I asked the tech about it before hand and he said no problem! Mean while he tells my in-laws that are out on the patio Thats the owners responsibility We talked to the manger Chris, and he said that theyve never done the peat moss before. It sure would be nice to get some clear and consistent communication. Mesa Turf pulled the same trick last year. If we could get out money back I would! Edit. Chris did offer to get some hay or something to keep the moisture on the grass seed, but wouldnt be able to do it until Tuesday and its Friday afternoon.

If I could choose zero stars I would. I called for new service in April for an aggressive weed that wiped out 2/3 of my front lawn last year. I had to call back to set up first appointment because the local rep never contacted me. The only application I received was on April 25. I was scheduled for the end of May. He didn t show up. I checked my account and it said I was scheduled for June 7. He never showed up. I called the main number and I was locked in for June 12. I didn t receive my 24 hour day before service text & email. I checked my account and am scheduled for June 20. Meanwhile my aggressive weed is back. I have a 7 application contract. At this rate my contact will never be fulfilled. Maybe bigger accounts are more important. However, they advertise residential accounts too. Don t think twice. Think 3 or 4 times before using their service-at least here on the Western Slope of Colorado. Also, a friend of ours in St. Louis contracted with TruGreen and they killed his lawn. TruGreen? TrulySad.

So in 2017 we switched lawn care companies from Mesa Turf Masters to Tru Green to save some money. Over the course of that next year our grass went from a perfect landscaped grass to the dead grass. In that time, our grass was flooded (due to lack of communication from our HOA, whom turned our irrigation on without notice while we were gone a whole weekend and our valve was left open by the man who winterized our sprinkler system and even suggested it stay open, when we came home from camping our whole yard was a swamp) that was in april. We had informed Tru Green what had happened and they reassured us our yard would come back. After months of lack of communication and lack of knowledge on their part, and lack of work (we were told it was flooding, then our yard did not come out of winter properly, then we were told it was bugs, all the while we requested to have a manager come out so we could get some answers and solutions) finally (2 1/2 months later) we were connected with a manager, Chris Wright, whom talked down on his employees lack of knowledge and was very unprofessional and rude, we made the decision to fire Tru Green and rehire Mesa Turf Masters. Jesse, the manager of Mesa Turf Masters, reassured us we made the right choice. He guaranteed their work and informed me it would be a 100% guarantee. We have never been more happier with making that choice. We are only in 3 weeks of baby grass being grown and I cant say enough good things about Mesa Turf Masters and all their crew. They are always so professional and so delightful to so business with!! Always eager to answer any questions and always available when needed!! Thankyou so much Mesa Turf Masters you have really made a difference and we couldnt be more thrilled to put your name out there!!

Routine Service... I was not at home at the time of the service but the specialist came as scheduled, performed the service and left , in the mailbox, the description of what type of service he performed.

My lawn looks very dark green and is very thick. The fertilization to my shrubs and trees has shown a lot of new growth this year. The weed application has also been successful, so far not very many coming up. All the specialist performing these applications have been professional, friendly and timely. Thanks to: Chris Wright, Rudy Atencio, and Mike Clark. I dont see that the company needs any improvement at this time.

Our lawn looks amazing as well as our trees & shrubs. We would highly recommend these services. We do have a lot of weed control issues in our landscape area, we did order service and have gotten a treatment but has not faired well in that department.

The Trugreen rep, who does my yard, came to my door and we discussed the treatment he was about to put on my yard . I told him I would like to get the leaves off the lawn before he applied the fertilizer. He agreed and said he would come back in a week or so to put it on the lawn. He was very polite and helpful. My lawn has looked great all summer thank you Trugreen.
