Wade's Lawn Service did a great job replacing some half-dead boxwoods with new, laying sod in place of an abandoned landscaping bed, and mulched everything. Their price was very competitive against the other two bids I received for performing this work. I really like supporting local family-owned businesses like Wade's, especially when you get quality work for a great price.
Wade’s Lawn Service far surpassed my expectations! They were kind, courteous, knowledgeable and extremely thorough! They took out 5 trees, manicured all our existing shrubs and planted a tree and 3 additional shrubs. They did all this in record time! I highly recommend their service!

My wife and I had a small foundation bed in front of our house we'd cleared of some old shrubs and decided we'd like to have someone that actually knew what they were doing design and plant the replacement. We knew we wanted to use someone local but at the same time wanted to be sure they were reputable, licensed, and well-established. After looking around reading reviews, we finally stumbled on Wade's Lawn Service. After looking at their website, we felt like this was the sweet spot we'd been looking for. We sent an email explaining our needs and asking if they could help. Within 25 minutes, Deborah, called me and after speaking her and her husband, Ira, the other owner, agreed to stop by that very evening! When they arrived, my wife and I explained our goal but we didn't have a lot direction; we truly wanted some design help! They jumped right in tossing ideas around regarding different plants, flowers, and layouts taking our feedback into account along the way. In less than 24 hours, they had not only given us an estimate but had also generated a computer rendering to help us imagine what the space would look like - awesome! Their price seemed very fair and we were impressed with their thought put into the design, professionalism and kindness, so we went for it. The day of the installation, Ira and his staff made quick work transforming our foundation bed into the beautiful finished product below. They did a thorough job cleaning up even using a leaf blower to clear the sidewalk. Afterward, he gave us some pointers on watering and maintaining the bed. You couldn't have asked for a better engagement or outcome! Since the first project went so well, we had interest in asking them to tackle a problem in our backyard. Ever since we'd moved in, there was a sloping section of our backyard that the grass never took to despite our efforts to add dirt and seed. The area would erode during rains and after a few years, we were left with a rocky, uneven, pitted mess of a hill that you could barely navigate and it was spreading every time it rained. Ira's thought was to bring in soil to fill in the mess and help grade the hill more properly, place an erosion barrier at the top of the small hill to help with the threat of erosion and then lay sod and over-seed the immediate area. The estimate for this work was not insignificant for our budget, but after thinking it over, better understanding the cost of sod, labor, and realizing this is really an investment to stop a serious erosion problem and give a us a chance to work toward developing a better lawn thereafter, we decided to go for it. Just as the project before, Ira and his staff made quick work knocking this out across 2 days within the same week. We didn't know the exact day they would be starting, so I hadn't yet done some weed-eating to clear the overgrowth I'd left in place to help fight the erosion. I offered to do so right quick, but Ira said they'd take care of it. It was nice to see them owning the job from start to finish. The quality of the sod they installed was beyond our expectations, and it may look a little out of place or silly in the picture with our lack-luster lawn surrounding it, but again, this was more about fixing the erosion. Though, if we could afford it, my wife and I were both ready to ask them to do the whole yard! We've since done some preparation and seeding in the area and are starting to see some growth. Afterward, we'd asked what type of mulch was used so we could get a little more for an area, instead they came out and carefully added significant mulch at no charge (not pictured)! Don't hesitate to reach out to Wade's for your landscaping needs. You will find Deborah and Ira to be professional, receptive, personable, and kind and your project completed beyond your expectations. So until next time, thank you Wade's! Only critique: Deborah suggested in jest on more than one occasion that any review we leave should be 5 stars. IMHO the best you can ask for is an honest review. Deborah & Ira are the best! They took my dirt pit and created a beautiful, calming environment. Deborah came up with the idea to create a sidewalk with pavers and then add the beautiful plants with the rocks! Ira put the plan in action and created the neat sidewalk and added the plants that should not need as much water. I love pulling in my driveway and not seeing the dirt pit. I love looking at it and can’t wait to enjoy it as it matures. See my before and after photos. I enjoyed working both of them.
We are THRILLED with the service that Wade's Lawn Service provided on our property! They really did an amazing job! We use the bottom floor of our home for Airbnb, which includes an outdoor patio and inground pool surrounded by a number of different types of palm trees. The lighting we had was really outdated, and some of the fixtures were broken. We had Wade's replace all the fixtures and add new lighting to better showcase our palms at night... and it looks AMAZING!! They completed the install within a few hours, so our guests were able to enjoy our newly-lit pool area within the same day! And, what's more, is that ever since they did the lighting job, we've been receiving 5-star reviews from our guests that specifically state how incredible the pool area looks. (The pic attached doesn't do it justice because you can't see how the 50+ foot tall palms are lit all the way up to their canopies.) We could not be more pleased with the work that Wade's Lawn Service has done and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for anyone looking to make their property shine.
After spending yearrrrrrs searching for a knowledgeable, reputable, dependable landscaping company, I happened across Wade’s and boy am I glad the others didn’t work out! Wade’s attention to detail, knowledge of what to plant when (I know NOTHIIIIING) & customer service were all impeccable, going beyond my expectations. They definitely made my yard look better and yes, I will be a lifelong client. Dang, I forgot to take before pics aaaand this review is a couple months late, but Thanks Wade’s! Any company can do a good job landscaping, and Wade s has done just that for our neighborhood for a long time. However, I m here to praise their crew for going above and beyond. They saw me unloading multiple 50# bags of horse feed and stopped what they were doing to help me, taking the initiative to get it out of the back of my vehicle and bring it into the barn, completely of their own accord. We highly recommend Wade s Lawn Service. We hired them to completely renovate our landscaping in the front yard along with mulching and planting grass seed in other areas of our yard and everything turned out beautiful. They are super friendly, easy to work with and are very communicative. They even made sure we found a church to attend since we recently moved to Tennessee. We would definitely hire them again!

As someone in a previous review has shared, if I could give 10 stars, I would as well! Mr. Ira and Mrs. Deborah Wade both have an incredible attention to detail, uphold a standard of excellence in their work, and they are kind, warm, and caring in their customer service approach. Mrs. Wade in particular made sure that we were kept abreast of any and all updates about both our project timeline (which they delivered on) and with the status of identifying our desired plants and accessories (decorative bench & stones) throughout the project. Mrs. Wade also provided us thoughtful choices in plants, trees, foliage, and landscape design, that helped to couple the Wades landscaping expertise, with giving us the power of choice in what our front lawn would ultimately look like. The Wades were also incredibly communicative throughout our landscaping project, either calling us or sending timely emails about what was happening. Additionally, the Wades honored our budget and were forthright and honest about the costs of any recommendations they were making for our project. During the actual working days on our landscaping, Mr. Ira and his team were efficient, focused, kind, and responsive to any questions my partner and I had about the work being done. The Wades also installed new sod in our front yard, and the sod is thriving, living its best life! Deborah and Ira are a top notch team. They responded to our request and delivered as promised. My yard was becoming a forest and they turned it into a beautiful landscaped yard with flowers in the flower bed and mulch around the trimmed hedges. They removed and installed new greenery and even came back to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. They did a great job and we will be calling them back again in the spring. .

If you have not tried out this lawn service you are making a big mistake they are nice they do a great job the price is great Ive never had no trouble Ive had people mow my lawn that took 12 minutes I timed them and charged me $80 didnt weed eat didnt use the blower didnt use the hand mower where it needed to be and wanted to charge me that much money several times several different people this is the best lawn service I knew that when I walked in office that this is who I wanted and they never disappoint.

They have been mowing my lawn for over a year now. Every time they mow they throw grass all over my vehicles and they also tear the underpinning apart when they trim around the house. They always miss spots in the yard when they mow as well. They just left my house and this is what it looks like every time after they leave.
They have done my lawn care for over 15 years! They always do a fabulous job. All the workers are always careful to leave the place looking neat and better than when they arrived. The owners have the highest work ethic of anybody I know.

Doesnt return calls, demanded my address or would not provide me with a how he charges per hour. Refused to respond when I would not tell him where I live. I need 2 large bushes cut down and weeds in one area pulled. what is your address? is all he was interested in. Unable to provide an estimate, approx. $60. approx. $80 for 2 large bushes to be cut down and 20ft x 7ft area of weeds puleed. Completely unacceptable to female homeowners.

I recently purchased a new construction home and although I love the inside of my house, it always takes a few years for the lawn to catch up. Wade Lawn Service also mowed the lawn at my previous home, so I called them up to see if they could help me not be the sore thumb of the neighborhood. Well they did! I left home and the yard was embarrassing and when I returned that evening and they had transformed my yard to a beautiful lawn. Very professional team of folks! I recommend them 100 times over!
