Gerson did a great job for a reasonable price. He also made some good suggestions which made the project even better.
Gerson and his team did a great job installing a flagstone walkway across our front yard. They were reasonably priced and neat and tidy when the job was completed.
So reliable! We’ve worked with Gerson and his company Reyes Gardening for over 5 years. They’ve helped us with weekly garden maintenance and made excellent suggestions, always there for us when we need them. The garden looks wonderful and his team is always willing to help with whatever we ask. We know Gerson as super honest, knows his stuff, will come back to fix fast if there’s a problem. Gerson is chill, no drama, easy to talk to. In addition, Gerson has performed some major outside projects for us. Including building large stucco retaining walls, paving our terrace, building our parking, installing garden lighting, building a cactus garden, a veggie garden, installing our outdoor kitchen, fixing and installing irrigation. He even organized the installation of our new fire pit and installed French drains along the outside of our newly built house (the major rains of 2023 tested these drains and they were great!). No job seems too complicated for him and he has also given us great references for other trades, such as iron work.
Gerson Reyes and his team did a great job on my yard! Gerson is a good communicator and pays attention to detail. He helped me to choose the right plants for my project and even did a trip to the nursery with me. He has a nice, chill positive attitude and is easy to work with. He also understands the importance of getting projects done on time and within budget. He takes pride in his work because he loves his job! Excellent experience working with Gerson and his team at Reyes Gardening Services to transform our back yard from a dirt patch to a beautiful, drought-tolerant lawn with gravel. This involved roto-tilling the entire area, amending the soil, installing gopher wire, adjusting the irrigation system, and finally installing St. Augustine sod. We are really happy with the finished product, and also with Gerson’s follow up. Would gladly use him again and recommend to the community.
I reached out to Reyes Landscaping to do some initial clean up of my yard and also wanted to set up regular garden maintenance for every two weeks. Gerson and team came out promptly to evaluate my yard and he was very reasonably priced. He came out and did a wonderful job on my yard with the initial clean up. Walk around with me asking which trees I wanted trimmed and gave us his opinion on what would be best. After his crew was done we again did a walk around my yard to make sure I was satisfied with the work that was done. I have to say that me and my husband were impressed with the clean up and the professionalism that Gerson and team provided. We have our routine maintenance set up and looking forward to my yard maintaining its beauty.
Gerson and his team have been a pleasure to work with. Their knowledge of plants and Santa Barbara soils is vast and very helpful when you are trying to execute on an idea without making any costly mistakes. Gerson is very honest about price, plant viability and timeliness. He is not only very communicative and reliable, he is also very helpful and willing to offer his expertise on a variety of projects. I'm always pleasantly surprised when he has a solution to any problem or wish list item. As a first time homeowner, I can also rely on him to help me without worry that I am being taken advantage of. We have hired Gerson and his crew many times over the past 10 years For residential yard work. Gerson is a good employer (pays his employees a fair wage) and he’s honest and hard-working. He’s also just a really nice guy. I recommend being clear about what you need done, your timeframe and your pricing expectations. I prefer to have Gerson on site while work is being done, as his crew benefits from his guidance.
Gerson and his crew have been taking care of our home for a couple of years. I appreciate their attention to detail. I dont always have time to spend in the garden, doing trimming and pruning - I went out to the yard last week and saw that theyd already trimmed everything down, in time for Spring growth to occur - Love it!
We didn t have a huge project, only about 30ft of shared fencing, but Gerson and his crew were easy to work with, and did a great job!

Well sad to say I just moved from riverside To Barstow, and I am looking to put a new Lawn down. I called for a Appointment For an estimate.. They called me an Verify the appointment. And then never showed up I was very disappointed... Because Im looking forward to getting that Curb appeal for my new hm.

I recently had Gerson (Reyes Gardening Services) complete a difficult side yard project at my home. Side yard was an odd size with some drainage issues. I wanted to install a large Tuff Shed in that space and still have access from front and back yards. Gerson listened to my ideas and offered suggestions that actually optimized the space available. When problems arose, he offered reasonable solutions that did not break the budget! Highly recommend RGS for your next project.

I have been working out of town no lost control of the over grown weeds, plants, bushes, everything was a mess. They came in on time and worked a long day to clean it up. The bushes look amazing, all trimmings/trash was blown out of the beds and you can actually see my yard again. I will definitely be calling them back. Thanks again.

Gerson fixed a bunch of my landscape lighting and a sprinkler leak after lightning hit a tree and wreaked havoc. Competent, responsive, honest, and reasonable cost. His guys made one small mistake and Gerson fixed it quickly and for free of course. Ill call him in the future for any outdoors project.
They did a very nice job and redid my landscaping, planting trees, bushes, vines, succulents and cacti. They put in drip irrigation, and decomposed granite. They were professional and careful in their work. I would gladly use them again

I ve been trying to find that do anything gardener for years and at last, here comes Gerson. He knows all about plants and where is best to plant them. My water bill was exorbitant and he completely replaced it with far less sprinkler heads He redid the lighting and now it s just beautiful. Stone work? No problem. Not only that he is a genuinely nice person and cares about my yard as much as I do.
