There seems to be a common trend on these reviews the last couple of months. Great website, easy booking, ZERO communication after that. I got a sense these guys weren't legit when they didn't respond to the questions I left with the booking. no show, no call the day of the appt. Now I have to scramble to find someone else in time to get seed down before winter.
I’d found Avalanche Aeration on Craigslist and proceeded to schedule an appointment on their website. They’d sent a confirmation email with the day and time though no one showed up or called. I tried calling and sent an email asking what happened though there’s been no response. They’ve got a good website and the service packages seemed good so it’s disappointing. I’d understand if they were too busy and would at least contact customers saying so. Reading other reviews, I’m not the only one this has happened to.
We had a great experience with Avalanche Aeration. It was easy to book, and they did a great job aerating and seeding my lawn. Will definitely hire them again. Looking forward to a nice full lawn with lush green grass!
Avalanche Aeration was the only company to return my texts for aeration and of the 3 I reached out to! Kudos for their communication and follow through. I scheduled 3 lawns (mine and 2 other neighbors) and everyone is pleased with their work. Will use them again in the Fall.
I used Avalanche Aeration last year and I was really impressed - good communication, on time, great pricing. This year there's zero communication and they never showed up for the scheduled appointment on 04/14/2022. They are either picking and choosing who's lawn they want to do or they simply don't show up if you choose to pay at time of service rather than put your credit card info into their system. Am I able to charge them a cancelation fee?
Used Avalanche this past week for an aeration, overseed and fert on both our front and back yard and am extremely pleased with the service. Not only on time but early! Did a great job on the aeration and the price was extremely reasonable! Will definitely be using their services again in the future.
Scheduled an appt for noon today (Sat 3/26) & they were a no call/no show. I called them 2hrs after scheduled appointment and never heard back from anyone. What a waste of time as I canceled plans to meet them. Its very hard to find reliable services as no one does the what they say anymore!
Great service! I was able to reach out to book an aeration on the first call, got me in 2 days later which I appreciated. Stephen was very kind and helpful with me upgrading my regular service to a full lawn revival because I had a lot of dead spots in the yard from my dogs, 10/10 would recommend I haven’t seen any better plugs than theirs and I will be calling them for next year!

Will definitely recommend them to a few of my neighbors. They took my call in the late evening and answered all of my questions then I booked online.
10/10 would recommend Avalanche Aeration. I have a pretty big lawn in the front and back they were quick with both. I did the double pass option because my yard gets a ton of sun.
Steven did a wonderful job on my yard. They were super friendly.
Mediocre service, I would recommend trying someone else. Rebooked on me for two days later, no problem. Then showed up 4 hours early for the rebooked time. Lawn wasnt prepped, nor had I finished watering it. Half of the lawn was well aerated, the other half was dry so the aeration was a complete waste. They do not rake up the plugs, which is fine, but a hassle with a toddler. Asked if I could quickly rake before they seeded, which seemed like a huge imposition to person seeding. $62 dollars is probably a great price if you have a large yard, but it is fixed pricing so my 20x25 yard was the same pricing. The gentleman (Not Jordan) was there less than 20 minutes. Will be looking elsewhere in the future.
If you like making an appointment, getting a verified response by e-mail, calling the day before and leaving a message to confirm and then, them not showing up than this is the service for you.
Scheduled for 720 today, showed up at 1140. Never called or answered my calls.
I highly recommend Avalanche Aeration. They are prompt, honest and professional.
I wouldnt waste your time reserving a service time on their website as they dont show or even call to cancel or confirm.
Went through the charade of scheduling aeration on their website, but they never contacted me, never showed up...lame.
