You can’t run a business when you don’t communicate with customers. Our HOA had a contract with him for snow removal and Greenworx never showed up, leaving our streets icy and dangerous. RJ will not answer calls or texts and the office inbox is full. We are so disappointed as we had used RJ in the past and he was responsive then.
Dropping a star because I was blown off for a post-project rain sensor project. After a major excavation project to build some “flat” space at my house, I quickly realized I needed a grass solution asap. Being right in the middle of June I knew I was late to the game. Many folks didn’t even call me back. Other than some initial issues with not receiving emails for the estimate (a technical problem on their end), RJ was responsive and helpful. He even brought me samples of artificial turf to my work so I could make a quick decision. Install was done with care and I feel confident in the quality of work we ended up with. There were two areas I thought needed attention and RJ came out quickly to resolve those minor issues. I didn’t have enough time to shop pricing so I don’t know how he compares on that front - but it’s worth noting he underestimated the amount of sod needed and didn’t ask me to pay for the extra since we already had a signed agreement. That kind of integrity goes a long way and is exactly why I like to do business locally. Give GW a shot!
What a professional company! We called RJ because of the work he did for a neighbor. Green Worx replaced a retaining wall on a really busy section of our neighborhood main drive. Their work area was always clear and so clean! The workers were always working hard, and I never saw them wasting time. I was so impressed with their work on their wall! It’s beautiful! We called and asked RJ to come look at ours, which is currently leaning. Our retaining wall is in a very hard to reach location and we back up to greenbelt so there’s no way for equipment to get into our backyard. RJ was so honest with us about how much it was going to cost for all of his labor, due to the fact that they would have to wheelbarrow everything up and down a steep sidewalk on the side of our house. He was so kind to give us suggestions as to how we could do it ourselves and save literally thousands of dollars. As much as I would have loved for them to do the work, we put the young men in our family to work and with RJ’s advice and suggestions, we were able to fix a major part of the issue as to why the wall was leaning. I would hire him in a second and I highly recommend him for all landscaping work! He is a local Golden entrepreneur, with a great story, as to how he started his business! Call him today!
We have 2 rental properties and a primary residence. Over the past 9 months RJ's team has done a great job for us. All the team members are very professional. Some of the jobs we're big (pour a concrete sidewalk/driveway/patio and landscape beds), and some of the jobs were small (sprinkler heads and sod).They were always on time, and did what they said they would do. The quality of the work is great. They offered multiple design ideas on each project; sometimes reducing the cost. When we had a warranty issue with some sod that did not take, they replaced it. It's a small team of good down to earth people who work hard. Bring them Pizza for Lunch and show your appreciation !!
I hired Green Work and RJ to landscape, fence and add irrigation to a house in Golden. The work went smoothly but a little late. The total cost of the project was about $30,000. I asked RJ during the installation if he winterized sprinkler systems and he said yes and told me he would add us to the schedule. With a freezing forecast I reached out to RJ through calls and texts and he would not respond. After dozens of attempts I tried to get another contractor to help but everyone was booked. Our system had $1,000 worth of damage and still RJ will not answer my calls or texts. I would avoid RJ and Green Worx due to their lack of professionalism
We had Green Worx re-work some retaining walls for us. The project was quite large and Green Worx did a great job both on the actual work itself and the pricing for the job. The guys who came to our house were knowledgable and friendly and it was a pleasure to have them on our property. I would recommend them to anyone in need of landscaping or anything they say they are capable of handling.
I am truly impressed with RJ and the rest of the folks with Green Worx. They just finished a fairly large project at my house and I couldn't be happier. I was really having a hard time finding anyone to even provide bids, let alone do the work. RJ and the team did everything they said they would do and even a bit more, and stuck to the bid. They worked until after dark each night to try and complete the job as fast as possible. I have already given their phone number to a neighbor and one more at work. I am signing up for the maintenance package with them as well. I highly recommend them.
I called several places to get a landscaper to look at my yard, RJ was the only one that called me back. He showed up when he said he would and we discussed what to do with my dump of a yard. It was uneven, filled with rocks, and the shed was right outside the back door. I wanted some grass, the shed moved and the yard leveled. You can see the results in the pictures below. RJ listened to my needs and created a beautiful yard. Now I enjoy sitting on my patio and looking out at Castle Rock, instead of looking at the shed. His crew worked tirelessly in extreme heat and the job was finished in four days! In addition, the job site was cleaned every night before they left! RJ and his crew let me know what was happening each day. The transformation is amazing, RJ really knows landscaping.
Hired Greenworx to landscape our front yard - they were professional, reasonably priced and on schedule. Would recommend!
Greenworx has provided Snow removal for the last 4 years during the winter Prompt service after each storm, keeping my walkways cleared of snow in the Golden area close to the college which has a lot of student foot traffic

Very pleased with our new front lawn from Green Worx! RJ and his team were professional, responsive, friendly, and FAST. What I thought would be a 2-3 day project was completed in one day. RJ also threw in a free sprinkler control box lesson for me. :) When a problem popped up a couple days later, he was back immediately to rectify it. A+ for Green Worx!
Green Worx responded to my inquiry within an hour, came to fix an issue with my sprinklers the same day and also sent me a detailed estimate for further work I was considering that same day. Very fast and punctual.
Great company - RJ and his team are top-notch. They completed a landscaping project for my townhome community and the finished product is awesome. They are professional, communicate well and handle everything in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Greenworx.

RJ and his team did a fall cleanup for us and absolutely crushed it. Our lawn was a magnet for leaves and when they were done, it looked cleaner than it has all year. They were professional and prompt throughout. I would highly recommend them going forward. Bonus that they re local to Golden.
RJ has been plowing our private mountain road this winter and we couldnt be happier. He has done an excellent job each time and its a difficult road to plow. We have been treated professionally beginning with the first call. RJ came by to look at the job, discuss options and set up a contract. We look forward to a long future of Green Worx plowing our road!
Was going to give this guy a shot at doing my landscaping (1acre) land, but just looked him up, and he has some good reviews on here but saw that there is a law suit agianst him? Heard some not so good things about this guy and his company. Must be too young to care about his reputation. Just seeking some info about this company itself. If we. Can trust him... Bob Greenberg

RJ and his team are polite, professional, hard-working, and conscientious. They just finished removing old 80s junipers from our front yard and replacing them with boulders, flowering shrubs, grasses and perennials. Our new yard looks amazing. We already have new birds, hummingbirds, butterflies, and even a lizard enjoying the garden. All of our neighbors who walk by have commented on how beautiful the landscaping is. We couldnt be happier with the job Green Worx did!
AVOID at all cost!!!!! We had a great business relationship with RJ until we had warranty issues. He now refuses to respond to any calls/texts/emails. Our neighbor had work done through them as well with the exact same result. Find a reputable company, because Greenworx is definitely not!

This was a several month long nightmare. RJ said our project would take approximately two weeks and it took months. His workers showed up when they wanted, left when they wanted (for hours in the middle of a beautiful day), and never worked 8 hours in a single workday. Greenworx left parts of the project hanging for weeks and when my project started going over projected time, they began other clients projects and worked on mine whenever they cared to come back over and finish. They caused problems that werent even present before the project began. This is without a doubt the single worst contractor I have ever worked with in my 50 year life... and he was expensive too!
This company came out for an estimate and never bothered to get back to me! I called to follow up twice and left messages and no one ever called me back. Based on the other reviews I thought they would be a great company. Sadly disappointed.
I spoke with RJ 3x regarding services for my lawn care and each time he assured me that his crew was on their way to the property to mow the front and back lawns. I drove by the property to see that they never showed up. I ve tried contacting them several times but have not gotten an answer and have been unable to leave a voicemail due to his being full. I was really excited and hoping to build a relationship with this company. I am disappointed and after reading reviews it looks like I m not the first one to go through this type of experience with them.

RJ and his crew have been doing my landscaping and mowing my lawn for 2 years now and they always do a fantastic job. They recently replaced old metal edging with beautiful terra cotta brick edging around the perimeter of my back yard and it looks great. I highly recommend them for your landscaping work.
