Hammer Home and Yard Care in Golden

William Hammer has done excellent work for me in the past. After the beautiful fence work he finished, I trusted him to do two more projects. On August 31, 2023, he asked for money for his past and future projects. I paid William on the same day. $1205.00 of the total was for a new gate, a smaller section of fence, and to haul away wood. He stated he would be back the following Tuesday to start on the projects. He did not come. I sent multiple text messages since then. He stated in one text message he would be back on the following Tuesday. Again he did not come. He no longer responds to my text messages. One year and three months have passed. I have all the necessary documentation to take him to Small Claims Court. I wish things haven’t come down to this.

Hammer Home and Yard Care is the most professional landscape company we ever dealt with for the last 20 years that we owned our home. William gave us an estimate based on what needs to be done (he gave us his ideas also). During the project phase, he kept us posted on his hours. He was flexible as we changed the scope of the work; He maintained his focus in keeping within the original hours estimate without trying to upsell. Also, his extensive tree background made a difference in bringing beauty back to our landscape - that was unexpected as we were thinking about another ordinary Spring clean up.

William was excellent to work with — very communicative, reasonably priced, and I really appreciated how he made helpful recommendations based on his extensive experience/tree background. My yard looks so much better!

I can only add another positive experience with William. After a back injury, my yard turned into raging jungle of weeds and recent rain claimed fence panel as well. William did fantastic job making my backyard beautiful again. Even with unexpected wasp nest surprise. I was so happy to be able to venture in my yard again and not having panic attack about the overgrown mess. Highly recommend his service! Great job at very reasonable price. Thank you William.

Hammer Home service was quick and professional. We had a backyard full of 5-6 foot weeds that needed to be cut and removed due to recent HOA violations. William cut all the weeds and removed the leftover debris in just over 2 hours. A true master of his craft, William even used a leaf blower to clear our porch area after the job. Now we have a nice spot to have lunch without sweeping or doing any additional clean-up. 10/10 Would highly Recommend!

I hired William to remove some old overgrown juniper bushes in my yard. He was able to do this for a fair price and communicated well about the timeline. I was very pleased with this work and also hired him to trim and reshape a few other trees in my yard and to maintain my lawn. He did an excellent job, my yard looks fantastic thanks to his attention to detail. I would highly recommend William Hammer for any yard care needs!

Will is going into his second year of helping me with my yard and landscaping care at my home. He is incredibly reliable, hard working, and the work he does is excellent. Last fall, Will did a clean up of my garden beds (including a wall of rose bushes) and did an amazing job that is really shining as things are now coming back to life. This spring, Will has helped me sort out some issues with my sprinkler system--he can do it all, and does it all exceptionally well at more-than-fair prices.
