After moving house and inheriting a 100 garden our goto was to contact the lawn care company we d been using on our previous house. Trugreen have been maintaining our front garden for a few years now. The lawn is far healthier now as a result of their specialist treatments throughout the year. Prior to their service the lawn was mainly moss and bare patches and we considered re-turfing. They always attend when they say they will and leave a card detailing their treatment and any ongoing recommended care. We would definitely recommend their service to others.

Gradually improving my sons lawn. Didn t quite get the start of treatment timing right. But that was more our fault rather than Trugreens

£336 spent on 3 visits. 2 attempts to reseed, top-dressing, aeration, wetting agent, moss control and 3 lots of fertiliser. Continuous tlc by myself whilst keeping the children off a majority of the lawn, but the results aren t as expected. Although Mike offered further re-visits to look at the areas that haven t fully taken and discuss , I ultimately didn t want to spend any more money on what essentially is something I could, and have on other houses done. Like nearly all lawn fertilisers, the greener lawn we saw post-fertiliser is nice, but we soon noticed patches where some grass was noticeably greener than others. I have been keeping on top of some weeds starting to emerge and will go back to using a good fertiliser, rather than use a franchise company. A partial refund was asked for as a goodwill gesture, but not given; disappointing considering. In my experience, I can t and haven t recommended Trugreen. .Thank you Mike for taking a great deal of time replying. I m sure your products and services are well received by many customers. Whether I had a batch that didn t take well, we won t know. If I recall correctly, one of your colleagues that visited mentioned at a similar time to when ours was seeded, a few other lawns also had a similar, unexplained germination issue. Indeed at the moment my Google review account does equate to 83% negative reviews. I tend to continue using good businesses and often don t get around to leaving positive reviews. I ll try to improve that. Regards

TruGreen have done a fantastic job in keeping our lawn green, weed free & most of all leather jacket free, although we will never get rid of them altogether Mike & his team have stopped them totally eating our lawn (as they did last year) & keeping control of their existence We are so pleased with what they do, far better job than we could have done, well done guys & thanks

Our Gardening Club invited Mike Simmonds from TruGreen to be our monthly speaker. He readily adapted to presenting online via Zoom given the current Covid restrictions (January 2021). His talk focused on the practical ways we can have a greener, healthier, weed free lawn. It was such an engaging presentation, containing a wealth of pertinent and practical information. Mike answered a stream of questions generated by his talk with expertise and professionalism and a genuine desire to be helpful. We cannot praise him enough!

Over the past two years, Trugreen has transformed my two lawns into showpieces. The front lawn in particular gets comments from passers-by. The service they provide is comphrehensive, pretty good value and being a small local company I feel they provide a more personal tailored service compared to the well known names in in lawn care.

TruGreen have done an amazing job and exceeding all my expectations in so many regards. The lawn was literally transformed within six months. When we moved in last February, the lawn was full of weeds, it had bare patches that were basically mud. Pushing the lawn mower was impossible due to the lumps, bumps and troughs. I expected to have to strip and reseed it or lay down new turf. Within a few weeks it looked much better and by the start of winter it looked really good. Not only were the results of the lawn a delight. The communication and service was reliable, on time, courteous and trouble free. I wish all businesses provided such a fabulous service and product.

We recently engaged TruGreens services, and met with Mike, due to a leatherjacket infestation which had left us with a half dead, patchy lawn. After visiting to assess the problem Mike came up with a plan to help us bring the infestation under control and improve the lawn. After he had undertaken the agreed work, we continued with his aftercare advice and now have a lovely thick green lawn better than we have ever had since moving into our house 3 years ago. After the hot weather last year our lawn was in very poor state, which we thought would self repair over the winter months. However by March this year it was obvious this was not going to happen so we called in TruGreen. They have done a fantastic job and the lawn is really improving and the bald patches are gradually going to be replaced by thick luscious grass. I have no doubt it will take a little longer to fully repair but they have done a fantastic job - money (and not to much) very well spent!!

We had a real problem with large bare patches in the lawn. TruGreen did a quick check for us, carried out some remedial work and then treated and re-seeded the bare patches. 6 weeks later we have a lawn full of top quality grass. All the moss and dead patches gone, excellent work.

Hello, My lawns, back and front, are currently in the process of being treated by TruGreen. Ive had rather a bad infestation of leatherjackets in my back lawn and theyve been treated with nematodes. Fingers crossed that the leatherjackets will be wiped out in due course and then TruGreen can then re-seed. Ideally Id like to be reviewing TruGreen in a few months time, nevertheless Im confident, even at this stage, that TruGreens recommended programme will return my lawn to the lush green carpet it was when originally laid. Certainly TruGreen appear to be a more convincing and effective outfit than both Greensleeves and Greenthumb who Ive previously been disappointed in.

Took our lawn from a spikey painful mess to a smooth surface despite last years heatwave. Cannot recommend the service enough.

My lawn was in need of some care and attention and so I have been delighted to enlist the professional help of TruGreen Gloucestershire. Mike visited free of charge to give me advice and to discuss a lawn care package that will get the bounce back into my lawn. I did not feel under pressure to move forward, but was pleased that at last my grass could have a chance to get into shape. There was no pressure, more genuine interest and suggestions on how to improve my grass. I have found TruGreen Gloucestershire to be reliable. They have turned up when they said they would and have sent me a useful report after visits explaining what has been done, with a timeframe of what will happen next. Payment is also really convenient as I can make a bank transfer after each visit. My most recent visit was to strip back the lawn to remove thatch and some of the excessive moss. Fertiliser was applied to start to encourage grass growth. The next visit will be focused on killing the weeds and fertilising to encourage further grass growth. Following this, it will be clear if any areas need to be over-seeded. All I need to do is regularly cut my lawn and let TruGreen sort out its condition - excellent!

Mike supplied an excellent quote for re-turfing a large part of my lawn and the results are amazing. The quality of the turf is exceptional and the end result, well I could not be happier with. I have also employed him to make the rest of my lawns look good too. He fully explained what he was going to do throughout the year and was not a pushy salesman and did not expect answers from me immediately. He sent me a quote and waited to hear from me. He is such an nice genuine person which goes a very long way in my books and I also feel as though I can trust him to do exactly what he says. I am so impressed that I had to write a review, which I might add, is my first ever!

At the beginning of the year we did not have a lawn. We just had a patch of horrible grass that I had mistreated. What a transformation by TruGreen. We now have a lovely lawn.
