I met this family, not by happenstance, when searching FoxFarms website for retailers in my area that sold their Happy Frog Potting Soil for my garden. Despite landscaping being in their name, I missed that detail, and when being helped by Dylan (hes AMAZING, as are all the staff I worked with!), I asked him whether they handled residential landscaping projects, and he confirmed without shaming me for not paying attention to their name (a true gentleman)! Not a month after this God-led meeting, I worked with Dylan and the Evergreen Gene family on coordinating a residential restoration landscaping project, and today, I couldnt be happier with the teams job on my property! My project, completed in mid-July 2023, consisted of refreshing my mulch, adding vibrant supporting plants to the existing shrubs and plants within the landscape, creating an underground drainage system (french-drain-esque), and removing a dead tree that was to be replaced with something much better than what had previously been in its place. Dylan, with his proven expertise and a keen eye for natures beauty, led the project, choosing all of the foliage and materials for the job that was to be done; the entire project was completed in a timely, professional, and considerate manner that has breathed new life into my property, as now my yard is more neat and inviting. I constantly receive compliments from neighbors and friends about the beautiful colors and how pulled together the space is!!! However, the real showstopper is the crape myrtle tree they installed to replace the dead tree they removed!! My crape myrtle is a stunning centerpiece that adds elegance and character to my yard, and I could not be happier with her!!! Overall, Im thrilled with Evergreen Genes work! Their team was professional (thank you again, Brett and crew, who came out to the property), efficient, and passionate about their work, answering and addressing my concerns and questions as I presented them. Their attention to detail and expertise truly transformed my outdoor space; I have a renewed sense of pride in my yard because of the team of professionals at Evergreen Genes! This was a quaint, beautiful nursery. I found a terracotta strawberry pot! I have been looking for a long time for one, and this piece is beautiful! They also had a huge variety of different greenery. Will definitely be returning!

Lacking when it comes to houseplants, so if that is your focus, go somewhere else. Other than that, it appears to have everything you need for outdoor gardening.

They have nice healthy plants. They also sell lots of native plants, which is a rare trait for garden centers. The big drawbacks are that except for the very smallest plants, they are unnecessarily expensive, the place is closed on Sunday, and when it is open, it usually closes way too early.

I havent used their landscaping service so I cant review that but their Garden Center is beautiful. They have a beautiful variety of plants and they update their inventory frequently. Their customer service is also amazing. Joe is who I normally see when I first walk in but he always speaks and introduces himself. The staff never makes you feel like a burden. As far as pricing, I havent found a shop more affordable with their selection. Will definitely be returning.

They have a large selection.of flowers ans people are friendly and very helpful to guide you to whatever your looking for. I have been going there for almost 30 years. Plants are healthy and not dried out like big chain stores. The owners have pride in what they sell. Thank you.

Me and BFF visited this shop today. The young man was pleasant very nice young man. He came out and greeted us and I was so happy when I asked if they sold banana trees and he said yes, it really made my day. Great service I live over a hour away but will be going back. Good service is hard to find.

Friendliest staff going! While I was still shopping, an employee placed all of my plants (That were in my cart) into cardboard boxes so that they wouldn t dirty the car. She also made sure that they were all properly watered. Can t wait to do my spring purchases there

Like this place but those guys r not knowledge anymore. I was disappointed. I went in got 2 out of 3. But young man said didnt carry what I needed so I drove elsewhere. Later on I called to ask about a plant found out they had 3. And was given bad information and caused me 2hours of wasted time as had it but guy didnt know nor did he ask anyone at store. Piss me off

Great place for trees and shrubs. I had some trouble finding a particular plant... a Magnolia... until looking here. Not only did they have a great selection of them, but I picked up a fantastic example at a fair price. I would recommend for anyone landscaping there property.

The dude here is supposed super knowledgeable, I wish the 20 dollar bags of happy frog were kept inside during the winter. People say it doesnt matter but it should never be exposed to Maryland winter weather imo. Solid place but its set up for spring and summer.

Good selection for flowers that you wont always find in the big chain stores. I wanted to make 2 unique front porch pots but didnt want the usual geranium/impatients. They are right in my neighborhood and can always be a go to place for selection. Herbs, flowers, trees, rocks, decor, etc. Worth a stop.

Favorite place for lots of choices however my bad experience was that I was looking for a pet friendly flower for my deck and was told that the Mexican roses that I got where pet friendly a month later I was at the emergency hospital with my dog where she had ate some of the pedals that fell off and she became very very very sick I should have sent them the bill

Working with Jay from the landscape design division, was exceptional and a pleasure, he created a beautiful planting design of our communities front entrances. He did everything he possibly could to stay within our HOAs budget, which was no small task...lol, and did it in a timely manner. He takes great pride with his talent, and I would recommend Jay to anyone looking for landscaping ideas and needs.

I couldnt be happier with the simplicity our front yard now has!!!! In a matter of 3 hours, our weed infested-what should be flowers beds went from head turning away to now staring at the cleanliness of the landscaping and new plants that appeal to the yes and our home. Thank you SO VERY MUCH!!!!!!

I purchased two small bushes of Holly Berry last year short before Christmas at this Garden Center in Glen Burnie. At the time, they were wonderful extremely packed with berries. I remember asking Craig, one of the brothers, if they would have automatically produced berries the next year or if I needed a small male nearby. Craig assured me that those bushes were self-pollinating at that I should have had no problems, they will have produced a lot of berries. During spring I noticed a few flowers, definitely not the amount I should have seen as for suggestion. By end of August 2016 I called the nursery several times, left my phone and address, as I was noticed not a single tiny berry develop on both bushes. Was assured that one of the owners, during their several visits to Severn would have stop by my house to see the bushes, of course this never happened. During one conversation with one of them I was also promised a small male. Called several times, again, nothing happened and had a different recommendation all the times. Called on Nov. 20, spoke with Gene, he was not friendly at all, told me to talk with Craig the morning after. Called this morning, Nov. 21, 2016, spoke with Craig (finally ) he too changed the version completely, probably coached by his brother; they both told me that Holly Berry bushes don t produce every year; which for some reason could be the case; but once is having a bush over loaded, as it was looking last year, and once is having both bushes without a single berry on it. (I wonder what type of magic they hit to have two bushes of Barry locking like that) ... I would have appreciated them to tell me the true, be more professional, and suggest a male for proper pollination. The bushes are in my yard, they will not be taken back and request a refund, if it is what these brothers are fearing. The $ 88.00 I played for two small bushes of Holly Berry, will not compromise my life style. It is only a lesson well learned and one less plants nursery I will ever visit in the future. Yelling at Customers, is horrendous Customer Service, said in many s French Piss Poor Customer Service Amazingly, these brothers were so friendly when I purchased the plants. I guess this time they showed their real faces. Enough for the Evergreen Gene s, Garden Center and Landscape Services; Gene and Craig need to research the meaning of the word Service or removed it for good from their misspelled card. It is Landscape not Landsape.

Ive been there 4 or 5 times looking for different plants or garden decorations. The people there have always been very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend this business.
