Great job aerating and seeding my property for a reasonable price

I continue to be so happy and appreciative of Brett and his crew. This summer, particularly, they were so professional when we were dealing with the drought and high heat period. They recommended skipping some weekly mowing as it would stress the lawn, even though it was probably tough on their business to do so. They look out for whats best for me and my yard, even if its not the best thing for them. Great crew, great job.

Professional and dependable

Brett and his team did a great job constructing a landscape timber border around my garden beds along with a french drain system on the side of my home. Halfway through the project I provided some feedback on the work to which he responded well and addressed all of my concerns. I will definitely consider hiring Brett Mitchell again in the future.

They cut my yard one time after agreeing to a weekly service. Didnt show up again and never notified me that they could no longer service additional accounts. This left me with long grass and having to find another service in a moments notice. Extremely unprofessional and would not recommend a business that doesnt do what they promise.

Brett Mitchell has been doing all of my mulching for the last 3 years, as well as an occasional lawn mowing. They do an excellent job mulching, including edging all of my beds, and cleaning out leaves and weeds. Hes very reliable, always showing up when he has agreed to be there. And his pricing is very reasonable. You cant go wrong if you select Mitchells to care for your yard!

Highly recommend Mitchell s! They did an awesome job on our yard and were super responsive, timely, and reasonably priced. They took care of a ton of weeds, mulched, and cleaned up our overgrown shrubs and plants. The yard looks so much better now and we ll definitely use them again in the future.

Mitchell s lawn care was great to work with. Always on time and the lawn looked great after each visit.

I was in a bind to get my grass mowed while being out of town (I no longer know teenagers to do it), and Mitchell s was the only company willing to do it. They were willing to mow my lawn once without committing to a full year contract or a minimum number of mows, unlike other companies. They came when they said they would and did a good job. I even decided to ask them to mow it the week after since my trip was going to be long enough. Thanks!

At first he seemed to be a good service provider. He trimmed some tree limbs, shrubs and reseeded my lawn. Unfortunately, after that he abandoned the property and stopped responding to requests for additional work to be done. The shrubs were cut back way too much, and he was aware of how I felt about overcutting due to a problem with another contractor hacking up my shrubs. They were supposed to be a contiguous flat topped line, but instead he took it on himself to trim them into silly little balls. That s 30+ years of growth set back at least 10 years. I wanted to plant some azaleas in front of them, to offset the bare shrubs, but he has failed to respond to two requests for quotes. The reseeding was okay, I guess, except I don t know what kind of grass he used, and he left me to figure out what to do next, and how to maintain it. He refused to maintain the yard at any price, even though this is what he does for a living. There was some bizarre issue with my property being too far even though his business address is in the same area. Overall, the experience was unprofessional, disruptive and unreliable. Later... The unfortunately belligerent response to my review, along with the two voice mail messages, and resulting blocked number, proves my point. No attempt to resolve any issue. No apology. Just abusive whining when bad performance results in bad reviews.

After another company who said they d do some lawn maintenance for us kept rescheduling or simply not showing up, I reached out to Brett. He came out quickly to gave us an estimate and has done good quality work. He is reliable and does what he says he will - a big deal with service providers these days! Would not hesitate to recommend.

Mitchell s Lawn Care Service has been very reliable, coming every 2 weeks all during the summer which is what we requested. They have done a good job in keeping our lawn healthy and looking good. They also blow all the leaves off of the yard in the fall. I would certainly give them a good recommendation.
