Matt at Landscape Science installed landscaping and backyard privacy at my house near Short Pump / Glen Allen. We had an old, weedy, ugly garden bed that Matt turned to grass with great results. It looks like a nice lawn now with some ligustrums along the property edge. In back Matt helped me figure out how to add some privacy along a fence line. Matt was good at suggesting what would be best suited for our yard and objectives. You could tell he'd been doing this for a while. Overall, Landscape Science was responsive and a good value.
Landscape Science recently did core aeration, fertilizing, and seeding of my property in Glen Allen. I have a very difficult piece of property with steep hills and trees, and have done this myself for decades because no other company would do it to my high standards. They put two days of work in and aerated in multiple directions. They did so on request just before 3 days of rain, and their willingness to work with me yielded an outstanding result. All of the seeds in their seed blend were on the recommended list in both VA and NC according to my own online research. Unlike their competition, they didn't try to force me into a yearlong contract. The results are already showing. Even my Rhodesian Ridgeback loved them, and vice versa. I highly recommend without reservation.
Our yard was the worst looking yard on the block due to 2 pine trees we recently had cut down. I contacted Landscape Science after the trees were removed to inquire about yard renovation. Matt promptly contacted with me within 3 days and asked when he could come and look at the yard. When I met with Matt he was very friendly and was knowledgeable about how to best tackle this project. He recommended killing off everything in the yard, leveling the ground, aeration and seeding. Matt also recommended placing evergreen Laurels in the flower beds in front of the house. I asked about putting a stone ring around a Bradford Pear tree which he said he could do as well. I took Matt’s advice and am glad I did. The yard looks like a different yard even with no grass yet. Matt and his team completed the job in 2 days. They were very good about texting me and keeping me in the loop on what they were doing and what would come next. I would highly recommend Landscape Science to anyone needing big landscape projects. I am very pleased with the work that was accomplished. I will hire them next year for the back yard renovation. Matt s company did a great job. We had 5 trees removed and stumps grinded. Weeded, and cut back several tree limbs. Added top soil to a large low area that was having water drainage issues. They also planted several trees, shrubs snd plants. Edged and mulched the beds! It s a remarkable improvement! Highly Recommend giving him a call!

Matt and landscape science have taken care of my yard for over two years now in Glen Allen. They have been great for our mowing and general maintenance but have also done several larger yard projects. No matter what the need is Matt is able to cover it. Landscape Science is a gem! I recently moved to the area and wanted to hire someone to maintain my lawn. Matt and crew do a fantastic job! In addition to mowing, they do some beautiful texturing and edging around mulch beds to make them pop. I also recently had them do a larger job to trim back some unwieldy trees, weed the lawn, and trim shrubs; Matt was super responsive to my request, was able to get out quickly, and has very reasonable rates. If I have the best looking lawn in the neighborhood, its all because of Landscape Science!
