I had the best experience with EA Quinn. I researched and met with several companies and EA Quinn is by far the most professional, creative and pleasant company out of the group. Lyonnet and Fernando were the masons that worked on our hardscape install and it came out even better than expected. You can tell EA Quinn has very high expectations for every member of their team and they surpassed mine. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a hardscape design and quality end product. They deserve every five star review! It is unfortunate to see that several people from one housing community all agreed to individually rate this company with one star. I do not think it holds true to what they are capable of!

I would highly recommend E A Quinn! They do the landscaping for our office and the difference between how the grounds used to look and be cared for and now are night and day - it always looks beautiful! I also used them years ago for residential work as well and I saw firsthand the quality and care they provided which was absolutely top notch. Now I get to see them in the commercial space and the company continues to deliver high quality results. Highly recommend!

Theyve been contracted to mow our neighborhood weekly. They dont, regardless of weather. If they do manage to show up, its a shoddy incomplete job. After missing our scheduled date last Wednesday, they said theyd be out Thursday... they finally came on Tuesday. This is how its been going. Would love to one day actually enjoy my yard, but not with EA in charge of lawn care apparently

After mowing the grass they leave the thick layer of dead grass which turns into hay and kills the grass underneath. Maybe If they showed up once a week like they were supposed to it would not have that big of an impact but when they only come once every 2-3 weeks then you have this consistent problem. I have had landscaping for around 20 years and have never been so thoroughly and consistently disappointed as I am with this company.

Quality work

Twice in a row my plants were cut down. Its not like theyre isolated or in an obscure location! How is it that you cant tell the difference between weeds and marigolds and lavender? Ridiculous!

If I could rate them 0 stars I would. They mowed over my sunflower. That was very clearly a sunflower either these workers are completely brain dead or completely blind. There s no in between. Either you guys can replace the sunflower, drop off new sunflower seeds or quit your jobs cause this is the last time not to mention the mess you guys leave.

Our residence has a contract with them and they are supposed to maintain lawns once a week. It has now been 4 weeks they have not touched the lawns. The weeds are out of control and bees have taken over so much so that my kids are afraid to play outside because there are so many. They also clipped my hose while I was actively using it, promised to compensate me, and then absolutely nothing. Would NOT recommend at all. No follow through, no communication.

When they actually show up (which isn t often) they weed wack instead of actually mow, and leave it looking absolutely horrible. They obviously don t care at all about the residents that live in these properties. Woo Military Housing! Thanks for nothing. And yes we ve been sending complaints and photos to the leasing office, just seems like LITERALLY NO ONE will take any sort of accountability. Wish I could attach photos!

They have a contract with navy housing in groton to mow lawns weekly. Our entire neighbor hood hasnt been mowed in 4+ weeks and they keep saying its on the housing even though Quinn has a secedule for weekly rounds and its not run through the leasing company. Would not recommend to sign a contract with E.A Quinn, if they wont even take care of the navy submarine force families and members why would they take care of you. Waiting for a snarky response like they did for the last complaint.

Set up contract in Navy Housing but it seems futile. I d have better luck hiring livestock to maintain my lawn. At least there d be an excuse for the pile of trash they leave behind. They have no problem moving items in my yard and by moving I mean straight throwing them across my yard. When I mentioned it the landscaper decided to curse me out in Spanish not knowing I spoke Spanish. They don t weed whack at all now which, I m not sure is an improvement from last year where they just sprayed grass/weed killer instead of weed whacking. They don t clear out the clippings and decide amongst themselves when they plan on coming through to mow. It s a roll of the dice with them. It could be every week or once a month. Much like Forrest Gump, you never know what you re gonna get.

contracted by navy housing. collects money but doesnt actually do ANY lawn care. and when they do its one line down the middle of the yard only. owner reached out privately and unprofessionally to other spouses when called out. actually disgusting behavior.

Currently live in navy housing. You & beacon point homes honestly really need to get it together. You can point fingers, beacon can point fingers. At the end of the day , we wait weeks for our grass to be mowed. Between the 2 companies lying, its pointless to even address this issue anymore

Do your due diligence. We would Not recommend EA Quinn. We are residential homeowners in the central Connecticut area. We signed a contract with EA Quinn in 2023. We were thrown under the bus. We experienced false promises & misrepresentations by this company. We reached out to EA Quinn multiple times during our project in 2023. As we mentioned earlier, we were thrown under the bus. Management was very arrogant with their responses to our concerns & problems. An operations manager stated that it was not his problem. They had ample opportunity to make it right. The reason for our review is not to communicate more with EA Quinn.....This review is for the consumer to read & do their due diligence......

I was driving on rt 2 east with my children , a truck driver would NOT let me mirage with NOOOOOO traffic ... ran me right off the road with my kids in the car !! disgusted

New situation for me. Car was damaged by a lot of rocks on one side of the vehicle. Brand new car bought several weeks ago. We watched from our office as lawn care company used by our professional offices weed whacked and blew leaves letting a lot of flying rocks hit my passenger side causing tons of rock chips - other cars too! I took pictures of my vehicle covered with grass and took after pics from the car wash showing the chips. I called EA QUINN during the situation and they did not even bother to mitigate it with their staff. Same thing keeps happening to clients and other lessees. If it happens to you, record them, call police and your insurance and file report. Also have property management change landscapers.

I have dealt with E.A. Quinn for several years on many different projects, Scott and Matt have been great at communicating from start to finish on every single one of the projects! I will continue to work with this great company for years to come!

We used EA Quinn for our backyard/pool area hard scape project. The demo and grading team was give star and I would highly recommend them (Mark and Derrick) to do work anywhere. The others teams were ok, but some of the finished work is a little sloppy (especially the pool comping). The project manager was ok to work with but the designer was hard to get in touch with and we ended up going a different way with landscaping and furniture because of this. Overall we are happy with the finished product but do your due diligence!

Didnt end up using them after being told by their sales team they are not cost competitive on patios and are only interested in larger projects (despite our project coming in at more than 100K). So while I hear they do great work, probably not a good option for anyone other than those with truly significant high, six-figure projects.

EA Quinn was the best company to work with. The design assistance was very helpful. The gentlemen that worked at our home were extremely professional, meticulously clean, and worked with us on ideas and changes as the work progressed. Everyone at the company did what they promised, showed up on time, and demonstrated superior customer service at all times. I couldn t be happier with the work completed.

I couldnt be happier with the services of E.A. Quinn, who just finished the hardscaping around my new swimming pool. From the start of the job to its finish, it was obvious that theyre experienced and professional, plus theyre a pleasure to work with. Justin advised me on the best materials to use -- suggesting a less expensive paver than one I was contemplating -- and then guided me on the best design to use once the pool was installed, adding steps to accommodate a slope in my yard. The crew was fantastic -- meticulous, hardworking, and talented. Pricing was up front and fair. This is an excellent company!

We were very pleased with the quality of the work when they installed our paver driveway and walkway to the door. They arrived everyday promptly and did a wonderful job and when the job was done in about a week, the yard was perfectly clean and neat, more than we hoped for. I would definitely refer their work to anyone.

We re buried in 19 inches of snow right now and I can t wait for spring to see the results of the wonderful landscaping and hardscaping job done by EA Quinn! The design process with Darlene was fun and educational; the installation with Justin was smooth and both were always willing to listen to and accommodate our requests. The hardscaping looks fantastic around our new pool. Now we just need to see all the flowers and grasses pop up this spring! It was a long process but will be well worth it in the end.

Beautiful work

E. A. Quinn transformed our backyard last summer. Not only was their work exceptional, but they brought wonderful ideas and considerations that I never would have thought of. They built a patio around our new pool, an outdoor kitchen and sitting area under our deck, and a side patio. Ed Quinn partnered with us every step of the process. He really helped us think through the full scope of the project - not just the parts that his company was doing. The masons were truly exceptional. They were hard working and extremely talented - transforming massive piles of rocks into magnificent stone walls and patios. Everyone I encountered from the company was kind, respectful and really nice to work with. I look forward to working with them again in the spring for all of our plantings around the pool!

Had a consultation with Deb the designer who was wonderful. Received a call from her saying that they would not do the job because it was not worth their tim . I guess $5k budget to do a FLOWER BED is not enough for this company. Wasted my time.

I reached out in regards to a project that was not the smallest one but was shocked to get a similar response as stated by the previous reviewers that the project was pretty much not worth their time. This is very insulting considering they didn t event bother to look at the property. I will never refer and or do business with this company. Terrible customer service.

I worked with Ed and team on a outdoor patio and firepit area and lawn installation. Super professional, on time and hard working teams. The design process was paced for me as a first time major home improvement and the execution was done flawlessly, without any need for handholding and no major delays (only for weather, which was horrendous). Came in on time, on budget, would 100% recommend for peace of mind and quality of work, this company geniunely cares.

E.A. Quinn Landscape created a beautiful outdoor living space that includes a large stone patio with an area for grilling and dining, which is adjoined by a large gas fire pit with a seating area to relax and enjoy the fire. We LOVE our outdoor living space! The staff of E.A. Quinn is very professional, easy to work with, creative, and thorough. E.A. Quinn is the best!

Exceptional customer service from first contact to the end of our home landscaping project! It is so rare to work with a company that surpasses ones expectations and hopes. However, EA Quinn was beyond great to work with. They are knowledgeable, friendly and conscientious. We loved working with Fran, Debbie, Erick, Craig and his crew. Thank you all!

A+! Worth every penny! EA Quinn surpassed our expectations in terms of professionalism, quality of material, and workmanship. These folks are the gold standard. The work was done on time, and on budget. They designed and installed a patio area surrounding a new pool, re-graded the property, and installed sod in the heat of July. They were communicative in terms of when theyd be on the property, and the work to be performed that day. Workers would not make assumptions on design options, but would knock on my door to double check with me. The foreman for the sod install called me as soon as it was done so we could get sprinklers going, and checked in with me thereafter to make sure things were rooting well. We watched someone elses sod burn out at the end of the street with another contractor. We were having a lot of difficulty selecting a patio surface, the owner came out early one morning with a pickup truck full of samples to view in the backyard, and educated us on the attributes of the various materials. And, theyre just incredibly nice people to work with on your property. We would absolutely work with EA Quinn again.

The pictures here do not due the work justice at all. As you could see from the picture the hill was an overgrown mess that was in dire need of a landscaping team that had the vision and ability to transform the space. The work they did far exceeded our expectations, which is not easy to do with me. They stand by their claim when quality matters. The attention to detail the Ed and the team showed was amazing. Some obscure portion of this project where you could easily cut corners (and many other landscapers probably would have) was treated like it was front and center. Would highly recommend E.A. Quinn for anyone in need of a landscaper. I know we look forward to continuing to work with them on additional projects on our home.

I would like to support the comments made on the previous review. We have used EA Quinn in the past. However, having been a Glastonbury resident for almost 20 years now, and watched the town and local businesses grow over the years; I could no longer use or recommend EA Quinn. Any local business owner that could treat a fellow local business owner in such a manner does not deserve my support or business.
