Berry's Lawn & Land in Gibsonville

The company gets five stars right off the bat for punctuality; however, I do agree with another reviewers comment about the yard sign advertising (my HOA doesnt go for it, although I agreed to leave it in my yard for a couple of days). The one-star docking is because although the website states free estimates, I was told, in person, that said estimate is free ONLY if they are hired for the job. Plus, I think had I shopped around, I probably couldve had the same services done a little cheaper (although EVERYTHING is pricey these days!), but I was on a time schedule, and the company did an excellent job of ridding my lawn of last falls leaves and yard waste. I also had a bit of seeding and straw put down in a problem area (which they did really nicely). Time will tell, but there is a better-than-average chance that this company will be considered when it comes to any future lawn care needs--if I can negotiate an agreeable price.

If I could give zero stars I would. This guy is a joke of a landscaper. I ll be honest, he was great at first and said he would fix anything if it didn t hold up as promised. Now he won t fix his horrible work and is ignoring my calls. He took advantage of me. I would never recommend him for any kind of work. Beware!

Not happy that they feel it is ok to put their sign up on my property. Especially since I have never hired them or heard of them before that. I wasn t in the market for a landscaping company but when I am, I will make sure I don t hire these people.

I cannot say enough great things about Jeremy and his company! We have a few acres of land that needed leveled and graded, tons of rocks removed, and grass seed laid. I got a very quick response when I asked for a quote and he was able to come out almost immediately to see our project. He was punctual, professional, and very open with my husband and I about what to expect and working within our budget. When we were able to start, he was exactly on time (which never happens when working with construction or landscapers in my past experiences). Jeremy always communicated with me when he came and left the property. I work from home and have a toddler, and he went so far as to try to respect our schedules and tried not to interrupt my toddlers naptime! He was an incredibly hard worker and you can tell he takes pride in what he is doing. I really dont know what I was expecting the yard to look like when it was done, but I certainly didnt think it would look this amazing. Every time I look out my windows, I just smile at how beautiful it all looks. The work Jeremy put into our land really turned this into a personal retreat. I would highly recommend Jeremy and Berrys Lawn and Landscaping. Before he even left, I started trying to find other projects for him to help us with and have since given his info to my neighbors. I will absolutely call Jeremy again for any of my landscaping projects.

Yard was mowed just as I had asked... Everything was cleaned up nice and neatly. I am very picky person when it comes to my yard and I was very satisfied and knew we had made a awesome choice at hiring Berry s Lawn Care. I had Jeremy mulch my flower beds and he did a great job. Over the winter months we used Berry s Lawn Care to take care of winter yard maintenance and Jeremy was very professional job and did just what I had hired him to do. I had no issues. Look forward to many years of business with him.

We needed to replace our old slate steps and pathways. The step slabs had become unstable, and the path stones uneven from frost heaving. Other companies presented plans that would have required ripping up everything and using heavy grading equipment and taken a week-10 days and cost way above what we could afford. Jeremy stabilized the steps and capped them with limestone treads which are stable, attractive, and textured so they are not slippery, a big consideration for us wobbly old people. He replaced the path stones with a deep layer of medium gravel, which is attractive and not slippery. He also replaced the worn-out gravel in the driveway. His price was very reasonable, and the work was completed in a few days. Jeremy himself was prompt, polite, and professional throughout, checking with me as he went to make sure everything was OK.

Jeremy does an excellent job. He was responsive and on time for the services he provided. He made sure that I am satisfied with the end result each and every time.

I was really disappointed with the lack of professionalism.The contact person was badgering and became confrontational when I informed him that I didnt want his service.
