Called day before requested snow removal said he could be here between 9am-10am. Never showed up. He texted and emailed all of a sudden that he was too busy and unavailable? (Called central turf and was put immediately on the schedule to get done the same day.)
We have been held hostage in our home for three days due to the Winter storm. Because of my age and health concerns I can no longer shovel snow like I used to. I contacted Jody with Akers Lawn Care to plow our driveway so we can leave our home if needed. Jody showed up with the perfect equipment. He did an excellent job and very quickly. I highly recommend Akers Lawn Care and Landscaping!
Had I great experience with Akers Lawn and Care. I recently purchased Govee Outdoor year round light and needed someone to install. I've seen Akers great work all around my neighborhood and thought why not see if they would be willing to install my lights on my house. Gave them a call and to my surprise gave me a fair quote. They came on time on the day of install and worked fast. You can tell the pride and care they put into the jobs that they do. I will definitely use them again in the future!!

When we bought our house, we quickly discovered the builder did not grade the property. We had standing water in the front all the way to the back. Akers Lawn Care and Landscaping was able to grade our property using a laser level and fixed our issue. After the grading, we had sod put down and our standing water issue from the front to the back has considerably been reduced. We are pleased with the work that we received from Akers Lawn Care and Landscaping.

Akers lawn care did an amazing job. They came in and put a retaining wall around our AC unit and help level out the ground on the side of our house.

Jody and his team did an excellent job. They installed a French drain and sowed grass. Once the job was complete, they cleaned the area where they worked. My backyard is no longer retaining water. I highly recommend Jody and his team!!
Wonderful job done by bringing in fill dirt, leveling, seeding and adding a fire pit to the backyard. Moved propane tank under porch to be less noticeable. Gravel was also added under the back porch area.
We had a beautiful curved stone pathway installed connecting driveway to front door. Prodessional work and highly recommend !
Akers Landscaping took out all the bushes in the front of our house, that were really getting out of hand. They put in gravel beds with no- maintenance plants. They also trimmed two trees and did similar landscaping around the front yard trees and mailbox. Looks 100% better! Highly recommend.

Akers Lawn Care has been servicing my lawn and landscape needs for 4 years. Jody and his crew just trimmed a hedge row, 2 rose bushes, and 2 other large bushes, plus he cut down a nuisance tree. After trimming everything he and his son loaded the debris, used a yard vacuum to clean up the smaller debris. Jody Akers team have always been dependable and on point. I have recommended Akers Lawn Care to several of my neighbors and will continue to do so. If you have lawn care or Landscaping needs give Jody Akers a call. See you next spring!

I had Akers Lawn Care come out and care for my lawn by seeding my lawn, fertilizing and removing a large shrub/tree out of the front of our home. They were very professional and quick they were in and out within 2.5 hours. I enjoyed there work so much I had them come back and adjust my flower bed and mulch. I would recommend them over and over again.
Hired Akers to replace mulch with rock, create border along two large mulch beds up against house, and trim a magnolia tree. This also included relocation of a downspout underground and past the rock bed. Mr. Akers explained the work to be done, provided detailed estimates, and provided all of the information needed during and after the project. He was very timely, worked on the days he stated, and finished the project on time. His crew also cleaned up very well (including disposal of the existing mulch), and there is no evidence of it being a worksite after they finished. They exceeded my expectations in every way. The border included with the tree included a set of gradually elevated stone rows. That particular section is a highlight of the house now, and beautifully shows off the tree. The other mulch bed is equally impressive, and both will be much lower maintenance for us in the future. My wife and I are very happy with the work done, and would hire them again if needed.
