If you are planning to purchase huge trees for your home landscaping, definitely shop elsewhere. My relatives spent thousands for full grown trees, and one immediately died. This was in 2023. They were promised a similar replacement but that has never happened. While they prefer to support local businesses instead of Lowes, the fact is…Lowes will guarantee trees and provide replacements without fail. Sadly, my family has had nothing but the “run around” from this owner and business. Shop elsewhere…..the lesson learned here.
Wonderful group of people to work with at JLC Gardens and their product is gorgeous! This group is so kind, knowledgeable, respectful, and helpful. John created and designed a beautiful patio garden for me and Myrna and Jenna helped me fill it. Best little garden center on the Coast!
Logan was so helpful in suggesting filler plants for my outdoor planter, and in suggesting a substitute for a shrub I wanted, but they didn't have in stock. Logan suggested a shrub I wanted in the past but had forgotten about! Now I have a Sweet Olive to enjoy!! They have a great selection!
Great local, friendly place. Knowledge staff. Found black elephant ears and oleander! Super hard to find.
I popped in to visit the nursery today and I'll definitely be back. I was able to purchase rocks for a gardening project at a lower rate than anywhere else even Amazon! The flowers, plants, structures and supplies are all handy and affordable. Hannah and Meryn were fun and knowledgeable aides as I made selections and made plans for further purchases. The lantana and hostas selection alone makes a visit worthwhile though the cute signs and displays all around are not to be missed. You can spot the Nursery by the white VW bug parked by the road. Head to the back of the first building for the friendly office. :)
JLC Landscaping is amazing! The owner, John, designs beautiful landscapes. He not only listens, he hears what you want. There were several times I asked if he was reading my mind! John and his crew are professional and respectful. Communication and an attention to detail is so very apparent among the crew while they are working. Oh and they always wear a shirt proclaiming JLC. The pride they all show in their work and their boss is truly wonderful. They actually took pictures and videos when they finished the job. Our neighbors keep stopping to compliment John's vision. I finally asked for a sign so everyone will know who is responsible for our beautiful yard. My husband and I will recommend JLC to everyone!

I have had questions answered and help on picking out the right plant for the amount of sun or shade in my landscape. Always helpful and extremely polite. I ll be back.
Very dishonest company and they should be ashamed of the way the treat their employees and handle their business.
Thought he was a great guy at first but, Always having excuses why he didn t come the day that was scheduled. One excuse after another ! Brought plants and dropped them off to plant the next day .. another excuse after why he didn t come until all those plants died. Months of dealing with his excuses until I finally said to the send me my balance on unfinished work since I had paid him already ( told me he had to have some money in order to buy items needed ) . The last lie was telling me he put the Money order in the mail that s been over 3 weeks ago . Now , he doesn t respond to me at all. I m not the type of person that usually writes bad reviews but John has lied so many times that he deserves this. I will add on a positive note the work he did was acceptable just doesn t finish and makes excuses constantly and avoids answering texts or phone calls
Although they dont work in my area, they were so kind to refer me to someone who could help. Awesome people!

You know how you drive by a place most everyday, and you think Well, today I wasnt in a hurry, and took my time to stop by several businesses in Woolmarket. I noticed they had a lot of new stuff and beautiful walkways ... I picked 5 of my favorite plants that was hard to find. A sweet lady came around the building on a golf cart greeting me. The plants were way up front, so I hopped in, and off we went ! She was friendly and informative about the plants. Thanks Irma ! I will definitely be coming back

Me & my wife hired JLC to do our landscaping & landscape lighting and we absolutely have NO regrets! It turned out incredibly beautiful and all the trees shrubs and plants were top quality! John worked to make our vision and design come to life and it worked!

Owner made lots of promises and then took forever completing an estimate, disregarded what I wanted to do his own (more expensive) plan and was unprofessional. His lawn care service showed up late and did an awful job, killing a large area of grass by walkways and beds (I saw them spraying the grass with bleach). Dont waste your time on his dreams and false promises.
Absolutely Marvelous! from the beginning, it was a pleasure doing business with JLC Landscape. The crew worked hard all day in the summer heat and I am completely satisfied. Highly recommend! Look forward to working with John and his team for my landscape in my backyard in the next couple of weeks. 5 Star Rating

Everything we have asked them to do, they have done! We have used them in Diberville and 3 years in Biloxi! Johns compassion for my husband after his heart surgery is something I will always be thankful for!
This place lies and makes promises that cant be kept.
This place is clown shoes. I would give them a lower rating, but 0 stars isnt an option. The owner is nice enough, but doesnt know whats going on with his crews or how to run a successful business. As far as I can tell, the only thing he knows how to run is a lawnmower, his truck through my neighborhood at top speed, and his business into the ground. Cutting grass at your own home, and running a business that does lawn care and landscaping for others are 2 VERY different things. If you want a reliable, well organized, and quality company to do any of this type of work, there are plenty of other companies to choose from, and I would suggest you try 1 of them. The only way Ive found of getting the owner to actually come to your house, is to tell him that you have $ for him. That says a LOT about a person and a LOT about the type of company they run. Its been a very disappointing and frustrating experience dealing with John Anderson, but strangely enough, the workers he sent out (Sorry to say I didnt catch their names, but they were both younger & white. One was a shorter blonde female and she had a bigger, dark haired guy with her.) were both very professional, polite, & worked hard to complete the job to my satisfaction. I dont know how a company stays in business when the employees seem to care more than the owner does, so it wouldnt surprise me in the least if this place closes down soon. Do yourself a big favor: Save your time, money, & energy, & call a REAL landscaping & lawn care company PLEASE!!!
Employees worked hard, were very friendly, & professional. I would hire them individually to come work for me anytime. Owner, showed up to get the cash and left. The job is still not complete a week later. Its very disappointing to say the least.
The owner, John, personally came out, discussed what I was looking for and provided a computer generated picture for me to study along with my quote. As a veteran I was able to get not only get a 10% discount but he and his crew worked overtime to meet a deadline to surprise my parents. Job very well done! I would highly recommend JLC Landscaping.
