For those of you looking for a quick review, here it is: Wow. Texas Select Lawns is the only choice in this area. Extreme professionalism, prompt communication, and a relentless pursuit of perfection elevate Trey and his team to an absolutely world-class level of service. Bravo. For a longer review: We have been using Texas Select Lawns for over 2 years now. Trey and his team have done an absolutely outstanding job of exemplifying everything that a lawn care service should be. I’ve used 2 other lawn care companies in the past, and dropped both of them due to non-communicated appointment drops, sub-par service quality, and other miscellaneous factors. When you set up service with a lawn care company, you’re doing so to save yourself time. Active management is exactly what you’re trying to avoid. You want a “set it and forget it” experience. Texas Select Lawns delivers this every time, without fail. The landscaping space is so saturated with companies, many of which require you to babysit them, their schedules, and the quality of their work, all while you’re paying them for a service. That is NOT the case here. Every detail is considered with Texas Select Lawns. Our lawn service was set up for weekly service every Thursday. For Thanksgiving, Trey emailed with a revised service schedule. During weeks with heavy rain, Trey emailed a revised schedule. Holidays, inclement weather, anything out of the norm was promptly and professionally communicated. Our family switched banks about 1.5 years ago. We had our account set up with Trey for an auto-debit every week. When we switched banks, I failed to share that information with Trey. That was 100% on me, it simply got lost in the shuffle. Trey sent me a very professional email that basically said “Hello, we serviced your lawn this week and the charge was kicked back. Let me know if we need to update payment info.” I responded promptly and extremely apologetically, stating what was going on. He was incredibly professional, polite, and understanding. However, this last experience I’ve had with Texas Select Lawns really excels above all others in my opinion. I recently got a new job which has afforded me the time and flexibility to begin handling my lawn care needs myself. I sent Trey a very complimentary email informing him of this change as well as praise for the years of stellar service, and that I would be suspending service until further notice. The response I got from him really sealed the deal. Trey read my compliments to his team at their Monday morning meeting. Using the praise directly from the mouth of a customer as a relationally motivational tool. I have been a manager of a team of about 50 people for 4 years now. Trey’s positive reinforcement using direct feedback from a customer is exactly what a crew of landscaping professionals needs to hear early on a Monday morning. If nothing else has convinced you to trust Texas Select Lawns with your landscaping needs, let this be it: The owner is a perceptive and relational leader. He recognizes that his team and his customers are human. He gives his team the opportunity to spend holidays with their family. He understands that life happens, whether that be with his customers or employees. And he understands the relational needs that his team has, and the massive effect that a small act such as reading a very positive email aloud to his team early on a Monday morning can have. If you haven’t called or emailed Trey already, what are you doing? This is how a business should be run. 11/10.
I have only used this company for two months now but they have been the most reliable crew that has maintained our property. I highly recommend them for an honest, on time, and on target job. More companies need to operate like this one does.
I’ve used Texas Select Lawns for almost two years. They are always on time and provide services on the dates agreed upon. If I need to make changes to my scheduled dates; all I need to do is send a text and I get a response immediately. I had other companies service my lawn but no one can compare to the quality of service this company provides!!!

Texas Select was referred to me on our neighborhood fb page and I'm glad I gave them a try! They are always friendly and do a thorough job. They are also very considerate concerning my small dog making sure she is in the house before they mow the back and make sure the gate is closed securely! The company also communicates any time there is a change in the schedule like when it rained so much and they were backed up. Highly recommend!!!
This company his head and shoulders above other lawn maintenance companies in the San Antonio area. I've tried various lawn service companies here in Converse. Many of these companies are expensive, unreliable, and do a bad job like scalping the grass with the weed eater. This company is priced reasonably its employees are very professional. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for quality work. This company does such a great job that I have them cut my grass weekly.
Very poor quality, these guys do not follow directions. Ive had to bring up several issues repeatedly and they were unresponsive. Do not hire these guys, not worth the time and effort in having to constantly repeat yourself for their shortcomings.
I ve been utilizing Trey and the guy s services for at least 4 years now and have never been anything but completely satisfied. They mow, weed eat, edge and blow the yard, driveway and sidewalk to perfection each time. I d recommended them to anyone needing lawn care!

I spoke with the owner, Mr. Trey Beahm, of this business after receiving a lawn violation notice by my HOA. He was so helpful in educating me about not only what his business does, but other choices I might make that would be helpful with my lawn issues. He even made a recommendation that I start with another type of business first. He was kind, an excellent listener, clearly an expert, and easy to talk to. So even though this company has not actually mowed my lawn (yet), I plan to give Mr. Beahm my loyalty just based on this first phone call.

I ve been using Texas Lawn for going on two years now and I can say with confidence that they do a great job at mowing my lawn. I never worry, because they are always punctual and take care in their service.
Unfortunately, this business is managed by someone who does not accept his mistakes. Instead of apologizing and offering solutions, he prefers making tons of excuses and arguing with his customers. (In the service industry, customer satisfaction must be the priority, not making excuses.) From my only two experiences provided by them, I would only say the following: They broke stuff in the first service and did a very poor quality of lawn mowing service in the second one. I do NOT recommend!
Cant recommend Trey and his team do such a great in lawn mowing/maintenance. They are dependable, great communicators, and so professional, and I think it is a great value. They are responsive and get right back to you if you leave a message and always punctual on the day they are scheduled to come. I so appreciate that, as well as good quality work! He works hard for his family, and takes pride in his business.

Over a year ,new subdivision and looking good! Love this company ,best communication with all the crazy weather we have been having, billing is seamless(no money,checks left under the door mat and you dont know if they got them) always willing to listen and adjust the mow and cleanup to your needs- fair pricing, no worries if it is going to be done as scheduled. The fellas at Texas Select are awesome. Super duper nice and very professional. If you want your yard looking sharp, give these guys a call! You get what you pay for when it comes to lawn service, trust me. Last summer I hired some high school kid to mow and trim our yard, and well, the kid showed up high and did an absolutely terrible job. He mowed over our freshly planted herbs, left the gate open (dog ran away and ended up at the pound), and mowed our grass way way too short. Pretty much ended up with a dirt lot once he was finally finished butchering our yard. I will never hire a young high school punk again!! Go with the guys at Texas Select Lawns! You will not regret it. They know what they re doing.

This gentlemen is very courteous, when I asked for a free quote he showed up on time and explained to me everything that is included in his services. I have always been skeptical about hiring someone to cut my grass but when I found about him through a neighbor of mine and the work that he did for him, I decided to give him a shot and I am completely satisfied with his work. If youre looking for someone who is reliable and is going to get the job done right and not have to worry about getting home to a lawn that is destroyed. Give these guys a shot.

Very detail oriented. Trey listens to any requests, etc. and is more than happy to modify the service, how the lawn is cut/edged, etc. Most other lawn care services Ive worked with were very inflexible or wanted to change the quoted price for minor adjustments. Lastly, they only use residential type equipment, so there is no damage/rutting to the lawn when they cut the grass.
I would recomend this company! Spoke to trey to get my services set up, he was very professional and helpful, told him I really needed our yard cut ahead of schedule and he made it happen. They were in and out very fast and still left our yard looking great.
