First year using these guys, I live in Lansing so driving 2.5 hours and having to worry about your lawn is annoying....This year it was perfect every time we came North! They did the fall cleanup as well for an affordable price, takes me 2 trips and 40 Lowes bag's. I recommend this guys!
I have used straight cuts for a few years. Have been very happy with the work that Alvarado did. But this year I've tried to call themmany times I've had no response. Very disappointed in their common courtesy I got. Guess they just decided they didn't want my business but didn't even tell me Not cool. Not how you keep and thrive in a business. 👎
Definitely DO NOT recommend. The whole process there has been a lack of communication. First they raised the price bc they looked at wrong house for quote. Then they murdered my hydrangea shrub and spirea shrub. We sent message to discuss for future mowings and they never returned the call. We switched to bi-weekly and they never told us that clippings cleanup isn't included on that schedule. Not once did they do any edging and the most recent time they were out they left our gate open AND destroyed our dog's lead that has been there since the start of our business with this company.
I have had a couple different landscaping companies maintain my lawn. When I decided to go with Straight Cuts, I hoped they would be better than the others. I couldn't be more pleased with their service. On schedule, on time and professional. My lawn looks like I've always wanted it to look. So glad I hired them.
They are super fast at completing my yard and it is very easy to transact with them. I have spoken to 2 people regarding services and they were friendly. The actual Lawncare workers should pay more attention to detail. I have a spot in my backyard where they have not cut the weeds, which they could easily do with the weed-whacker and not the mower. Also I asked them to come on a bi-weekly basis and they have come every week, which means they charge me every week. My grass has been growing like crazy because of the rain so that is why I haven’t mentioned that to them. Overall I would recommend their services!!!
I had trenches dug for electrical to be ran to my pool. The owner showed up to do the estimate. They were back the next day to dig. even when the job got hard they never gave up. They had to come back the next morning to finish and it was raining they just powered through and got the job done. I would highly recommend them for anyone that needs work done. You guys are the best.
I cannot say enough about Everardo. We live in the woods and needed our leaves moved off our property into the back woods. Everardo arrived on time for an estimate. He was very professional. On the day set up for the leafs to be removed, he was on time and very meticulous. As he and his team were moving the leaves to the back woods more were coming down. It was a never ending battle. They continued to go back over the property several times just so it would look great. And it did. It actually started raining and that didn't even slow them down. They did an amazing job. I will continue using their services. I would recommend Straight Cuts to everyone. Can't say enough about the quality of work that was done. GREAT JOB.
We found this company to be very unreliable. He would no show on multiple occasions and when I would send him messages to see if he was coming he wouldn’t respond and our lawn was left for weeks uncut. Also, when he would no show for our scheduled lawn cut, he would say he would be there the following day and not show up for that. I do not recommend this company.
Services was always good. Sadly communication definitely isnt the best. Sadly never heard from them about a 3rd year. Had to 2 good years of service.

Used their services for months and after dealing with multiple instances of them being late they decided to cancel my service without any prior communication due to what they are saying is excessive dog waste. If this was an issue why wasnt there any prior communication?

Ive always been able to reach someone and if I had to leave a message, they got right back with me. I think they are very reasonably priced and they do a great job.
They dont answer their phones and claim they can t get into the backyard I was charged for a service friday, they didnt show and texted me at 630 am saturday saying they d be their early morning, by 1 pm they werent there. No one answered any of my calls or texts until monday at noon... Apparently they re too busy to answer the phones in a timely manner even though they tell you to text for quick response.

I texted several times for an estimate. I was told that an estimate was coming tomorrow. That was 2 weeks ago. I texted again. Nothing. Common curtsy to just say that they dont want my business.
Used them last year would never show up and wouldn t answer calls or texts sorry it s hard to find a good mow service these guys were awful
Was supposed to show yesterday at 2:00, no show. I called around 2:20, no answer, called again around 3 and someone answered but was just background noise then they hung up. Called again and no answer. Don t waste your time.
Signed an agreement to cut once per week. They showed up once and that is it. They do not return calls or messages. I would not recommend such an unreliable company.
I am handicapped and not able to care for my yard anymore. You are awesome!! My neighbors even have commented on how nice my yard looks. Thank you for a great job. I really appreciate you work and your price is great to.

I called Everardo for a quote to cut down some lose tree limbs that had broken off with the last storm. I was concerned that they would fall and damage my neighbors car or hurt someone. He was able to accommodate my schedule and I am actually hiring his company to do my lawn service as well! I have a large back yard and side lot. He is very attentive to detail and has a true passion for what he does.
Everardo did a spectacular job landscaping the front of my house and building the retaining wall around my lilacs in the backyard. He was punctual, easy to work with and listened to everything I needed. Everardo gives painstaking attention to every detail!!
I called to set up a appioment. We picked a day for him to come out. Then that day came and went. I called to see why he didn t show up and even texted the guy to get back to me so we can figure out something but still nothing. I thought this was strange. So point blank this guy wasted my time. This guy is horrible this year! He said he was going to put me on a schedule, he cut it once and never came back...!!! Texted him and no response. And when he did come out that One Time he didn t do a good job!!! He has also stated that he s behind 60 accounts this year, and he actually has a crew working with him now.... So how are u so behind?

Called to get quote, he said call you back within 30 mins. 4 hours later I call back, he says oh yea, 10 secs later disconnected and then straight to voice mail. I was looking for a cut and possibly fall clean up with a chance of full service next year. Terrible
