I live at the senior living apartments Mallard Point on 50th St in Garden City The company just did the lawn yesterday and Im shocked at how they left the property. Branches mowed over and left, rather than pick them up. Grass is so high after they were done causing our pets to have a hard time going to the bathroom. Mud and grass on the sidewalk from the equipment. Walks not blowed off when done. I worked landscape for years and ran crews and if I would have left a property as poorly as they do I would have been fired. Another example that when a company gets so big they dont pay attention to detail. I really hope they fix the problem.

Absolute worst lawn care service and unprofessional. They leave tire ruts in our yard when mowing and have entered our backyard without notice and with our dogs in the yard. They harassed my dog when they entered without notice. This is completely unacceptable behavior and poses a safety risk to all involved. I would not recommend anyone use their services.

There driver almost caused a accident with my 3 year old son in the car because he didnt want to merge with traffic! Not cool!

This company used to be decent when there were just two guys working on a VERY tiny apartment community. They have since doubled up on guys and youd think they would get the job done more efficiently, but that couldnt be father than the truth. The guys go over and over and over the same areas for the sake of stringing out there day and not getting anything done. Its like watching 5 blind mice trying to get through a corn maze with lawnmowers. I always have to end up sweeping everything up as they wait until 6 pm to blow off the trimmings, which they blow right into the threshold and into the houses making more of a mess and disturbance to those who have animals and families with little children. luckily winter is upon us and landscaping services slow down. Hoping these guys get some training on how to use their equipment and time effectively.

This company is very responsive if issues arise and fixes what needs done in a timely manner. The crew is amazing.

These people are horrible, very disrespectful of residential home owners. They don t follow city or community regulations. I wouldn t recommend you do business with them.

This is simple. Just color between the lines. Last week I let the front office know how early their crew started and the response was, when the snow starts flying, we start flying. I told them, Love the spirit, but you just cant do this before 7am. Call up the city and ask them. Well folks, it appears they just cant color between the lines. That can be challenging for some. Cutting Edge has their crew here again well before sunrise on a Saturday. My coffee has yet to brew, so I had time to write this before I head out to throw some snowballs.

Cutting Edge is a great company. They ve done a fantastic job with snow removal this year. Keeping parking lots plowed nice and early so that people can walk into businesses without slipping when they get their groceries at the coldest part of the day. Small businesses can t do business if people can t walk into their doors. Keep up the great service. We couldn t operate our businesses without you this time of year.

Had an issue regarding something breaking, and Jim came out and took care of the problem. Great follow through, and as far as I can see every season, they do a fantastic job in my neighboring subdivision.

As a member of the landscape committee at the River District I would like to pass on how happy I am to have cutting edge taking care of our subdivision for so many years. The account manager Jason is knowledgeable and responsive. The sprinkler tech D J has done a great job this year dealing with some really tough conditions. Walk by some day on the green belt.(west of Edgewood ) and see how great it looks. As a former owner of a landscape maintenance company I know there will always be some problem s and concerns. How well those problems are addressed is what is important. I give cutting edge high marks.

The employees of this company are irresponsible. They were running their trimmers in the gravel along Cloverdale road, I was driving southbound a full lane over my car was hit with several rocks. With all the rocks flying and 5 pm traffic I am sure that other vehicles were hit too. I heard one motorist honk at the crew and they were oblivious. Given the carelessness of their empoyees I would not recommend using this business.

When a ceramic bird bath on my patio, was accidentally broken by the yard crew, they left a message on my door stating the owner would be contacting me. He did. Within a day or so, I received a well written apology card and a gift card for the amount of replacement. The Operations Manager, James brought it to my door with a verbal apology. This is a company and person with great integrity.

Cutting Edge has been applying liquid ice melt for us for the last four years and has always been on top of the situation. Our customer service rep Jason Drury is top notch!

We built a new home last year and Cutting Edge put in our landscaping including our lawn. Our yard looks horrible and now we are going to need to spend $6k to fix the drainage, add dirt and replace the sod for our entire yard - in a house that s 8 months old. Update: We had an independent engineer evaluate our lot and stated the lot wasnt backfilled correctly hence the settlement. Also he stated our dogs were not the issue.

Cutting Edge has been the landscape vendor for this commercial property for several years including the the 2 years weve now owned it. Jason is our account manager and does an awesome job keeping me informed of any issues that need their attention to fix.

I dont think my pictures do the job justice. Fil was a fantastic project manager that wasnt going let the job done until we were very happy.

Ive hired Cutting Edge for two projects at different homes, and they have exceeded my expectations both times. I appreciate their excellent communication, quality work, and attention to every detail. Clyde personally evaluated what needed to be done, and Shayne sent professional, hard-working crews that completed each phase of the projects meticulously (even in sweltering heat!). Both projects required similar work: evaluate the entire sprinkler system and correct sprinkler heads and locations for better coverage, regrade around the foundation for proper drainage, replace shrubs disturbed by the grading, remove old rock and install new decorative rock in beds, remove existing lawn, and install new sod. Both projects turned out beautifully, and my neighbors agree. Cutting Edge crews take pride in their work, clean up at the end of each day, and are courteous, respectful, and professional. At the end of each project, they took time to hose off all my walkways and driveway and even hosed off my neighbors driveway thats adjacent to mine. For the latest project, they installed and set up a new sprinkler controller, removed two old non-functioning controllers on the outside of the garage (and caulked the holes), and followed up with a site visit several days later to make sure the system was running correctly. Quality work, attention to detail, knowledgeable, and professional. Every time. I couldnt be more pleased and highly recommend them!

This company is absolutely amazing. They always make sure the outside looks perfect! Weve recently had aphids removed from the flowers, cut off dead trees, and had the parking lot crack sealed and re-stripped. Everything looks amazing! Thank you, we truly appreciate it!

Cutting Edge Landscape designed and installed a new compete landscape at my commercial location. They were always responsive but their staff was not always professional. A big problem was their design and installation. Sprinklers were not initially adjusted causing brown areas due to underwatering. They came out to adjust but said it was my responsibility. I asked about areas flooded each time sprinklers turned on. Even though it was their design they said there was nothing they could do. All care instructions were followed exactly but two plants didnt make it shortly after installation...it happens. What was surprising is that Cutting Edge doesnt honor their warranty! BEWARE.

We are very pleased with the project Cutting Edge Landscape of Boise completed this past Summer at our new home in Horseshoe Bend. The job was comprised of two main components, new landscaping and an irrigation system, and erosion mitigation. Our main points of contact at Cutting Edge were Hailey Bodle and Shayne Geib. Hailey created the initial landscape design, and Shayne provided a detailed assessment and plan to correct significant erosion problems at our site. The landscaping was fairly straightforward, entailing the planting of screening shrubs, fruit trees, and a small lawn, complemented by rock mulching. Hailey suggested great recommendations for the shrubs and trees, all of which were accepted with minor changes. The irrigation system was uncomplicated, with sprinklers for the lawn and drip on all the plants and trees. The landscaping and irrigation system were installed as designed without any major issues. Shayne oversaw the installation of extensive water mitigation elements, to include French drains in two locations, a rock-based, dry creek bed, burying and tying together all downspouts, and wattles and hydroseeding on the hillside. To date, we have experienced no major erosion in those areas where Cutting Edge installed water mitigation efforts. Hailey and Shayne were easy to work, always helpful and responsive to our questions and issues. Their on-site visits were informative and very much appreciated. Communications were sometimes lagging, but never to the point that negatively impacted the overall plan. And the couple of minor hiccups to the design and installation were quickly and carefully corrected. We are extremely happy to have selected Cutting Edge Landscape for our job, and can highly recommend them for your landscaping needs.

The service at my apartment is loud and drags on all day. Second day in a row of loud abnoxious leaf blowers and industrial lawn mowers starting nice and early. Who cares that peoole live here, we just want to work work work!

Tony andazarus finally paid only because my coworker Tim stuck up for me and forced their hand. Theyre still operating some pretty Madoff like payroll but Im editing it like I said I would. But I dont think you guys really called them, after all you never called me back. They still owe me 100, but at least my dire straits are less dire. If you did keep them accountable, thank you. Never experienced any thing like this in my 37 years of life. I was walking on chinden Blvd in Garden city Idaho and a person in the passenger seat of a truck and trailer clearly with this companys name stuck their head out the window and yelled foul language at me. How disgusting.

Changing my 1 star review for broken window to a 4 starts after I called LaRae responded back to me quickly and got my window replaced. The guy they had come out Mike with pro glass he was fast and efficient my window is brand new and he came out to my husbands job and had it replaced and working very quickly. In response to your comment back about the incedent: I can assure you the guy who did it did realize he broke it I have him on video as soon as the rock hit he flung his head back and looked right at my car and then went right back to work.! I will be calling thanks! They have a contract with the HOA for my subdivision, well one of the employees broke my car window (my car was parked on the road across the street from my house)after flinging a rock with a weed eater and hitting my window. Fine it happens but they didnt even bother to say anything leave a note nothing! And when my husband was out there looking at it they all jumped in their company truck and took off. I know it was them because I have video cameras outside of my house luckily pointing towards the street and in clear view of where my car was parked. Its not necessarily the companies fault as a while but they need to make sure their employees know that when an accident happens they need to at least do the right them and let someone know. You know how bad I would have felt if it wasnt my own vehicle but guestvehicle wich could have easily been.

Cutting edge takes (good) care of some of the landscaping in our neighborhood. Their crews have been friendly and always stop at the stop signs in our area. We really appreciate this because there are lots of families/kids around! Thanks for being part of what makes Boise a great place to live.

After my initial review of 1 star, i am now changing it to 5. They have been nothing but nice to me since my initial experience. They have called on multiple occasions apologizing and offering their assistance. J am very happy with the amount of pride this company carries. It is a relief to see a company who is so invested in their potential client.

Cutting Edge just finished some asphalt repairs for subdivision. (Woodbridge). They were prompt in getting us an estimate and finished the work on time. Great communication and quality work. We will definitely be using them again.

Awesome group! They just did our restaurants parking lot friendly and hard working group. Not to mention the lot looks impeccable. Logan was very positive and friendly, another guy too, but I didnt get his name. All in all great people.

Needless to say our backyard was full of weeds, mulch and poorly designed plants out front from the home builder that were overgrown. Kayla and her team transformed everything in three days and we couldnt be more excited. Definitely worth the cost. We are very proud of the outcome!

Well im not really a customer but I live at the apartments that they come and clean up. The only issue is when they are blowing the leaves out that they always blow dirt and leaves up against the windows and and patios and it makes a mess.

Cutting Edge has been taking care of the landscaping needs for my neighborhood in Copper Basin. I was on the HOA for the first few years and there were some areas that we were not too pleased with when it came to maintaining our development. However, through constant communication between both entities, there has been great improvement. They have a new crew that is working our neighborhood and it is looking the best that I have since since I first moved it. Communication is a great thing....especially when the company you are communicating with listens and makes improvements for the better. Have a large commercial property with a lot of trees and shrubs that had been neglected for a long time. Mitch with Cutting edge came spent the entire day trimming and shaping the trees and shrubs great attention to detail and cleaned up all the mess and hauled away all at a reasonable price!

If I could give zero stars I would! I have had nothing but problems with this company ! Starting with the workers not caring and flinging rocks on several occasions hitting cars and windows. Also went out on several occasions and yelled at them to slow down and they just rolled there eyes and kept going. Today they left huge ruts in my yard and I mean huge!! Looks like a semi truck went thru my yard. Super unprofessional!!! Shame on you cutting edge!!! Hire better workers or go out of business...nuff said

When my swimming pool developed a major leak, I decided against repairs and decided to replace it with landscaping. I did not want the landscaping to look like it was the spot that the pool once occupied. I also wanted to incorporate many of the attributes of a zen garden to the extent possible in an Idaho climate. Brian Bentler worked with me to develop a plan in creating my garden of quiet listening with flowering shrubs, a dry waterfall, boulders to sit on, and a Japanese lantern. It will take a few years before the plants mature, but I am so very pleased with the results. Cutting Edge had all the aspects needed to accomplish this from the plans to the execution. The team of workers that provided the physical labor were absolutely awesome!

Two of their young men were working near my home and saw me(at 78 years old) moving 400 pavers into my yard on a dolly and reached out to me to help. My wife offered to compensate them, but they declined. Guess who I will be using the next time we need landscaping help? Thank you so much!!

Their landscapers (many are ex-cons) will circle around where you live with extraordinarily loud leaf blowers at 8:45pm. When you ask the errant employee to stop his gas powered leaf-blower (outside your patio window at nearly 9pm), the ex-con employee will threaten you with bodily harm! Do NOT even consider hiring this clown show. They are dangerous

Responsiveness is nonexistent. I own a business that has lawn that is close by that is cared for by Cutting Edge. The issues every spring are just borderline amateur. As I type, the irrigation out front has been on for 23hrs straight, obviously a stuck valve as it was just turned on within the last couple weeks. We have at least 4 calls into their office with zero call backs and of course no response. They dont have someone on call for irrigation issues as I was told this morning at 725am, they dont start until 8am. I reiterated that they have been on since at least 10:30am the previous day but... This kind of non-existent service has been going on for 4 years. I would guess its because it is commercial property and there isnt someone always looking at it like a homeowner would do? Edit: at 24hrs now with no call/response Update 5/12 Issue resolved a couple hours after last edit. Received very polite and appreciated calls from owner apologizing for any issues.

Absolute carelessness from employee! If I could give zero stars or negative stars, I would! Employee turned sprinklers on right where I was sitting on my work break, he knew I was there since we made eye contact. He turned the sprinklers on where I was, not warning me, getting my feet and phone soaking wet. Then I asked him why he didnt tell me and he claims he didnt see me. So I called his boss and made a complaint. Now, Im soaked and stuck at work like this. Rude! Wouldnt recommend cutting edge for services because of this carelessness act! **Updated 6/8/18 I appreciate how Cutting Edge got back to me on this issue. Within 24 hours. They personally brought me custom made cupcakes and a card with an apology to my place of work. I will now give them at least 4 stars! Thank You Very Much Cutting Edge Team!

A landscape companys truck caught on fire in Nampa today. I was the second person to stop and see what I could do to help as the fire started to grow. Just behind me was a vehicle with three workers from cutting edge. They passed me, pulled over and all three jumped out and came running over to help with all the water containers they had. They approached the situation ready to do whatever, yet they also knew when to step back and be smart. They comforted the driver of the other landscape company and hung out with him until police and the fire department showed up. Kudos to you three young men. Very classy!

Good pay

I cant speak for their their landscaping work, but they have extraordinarily courteous drivers. Due to the rising water and greenbelt closures my daily bike commute from Garden City to Downtown Boise has been forced onto N. Adams Street. I am passed by multiple Cutting Edge vehicles each day on my way to work and returning home. Without exception, their drivers give me well over the required 3 feet of space as they pass, typically moving all the way over into the left hand turn lane as they pass by. I am greatly appreciative of this and didnt want to let their courteous behaviour go unnoticed.

This is a fantastic company with great service. Shayne and Miguel do whatever it takes to get it right.

This is our second year that Cutting Edge has been our HOA landscape service. The weekly crew is kind and respectful and they work hard. Orland and Daniel are top notch sprinkler technicians. They make sure that our sprinklers are serviced and maintained as quickly as possible. I do not work for Cutting Edge nor am I related to anyone that works there. I am the landscape chair for our HOA. I would highly recommend Cutting Edge to anyone.

Drivers are very aggressive and rude, they use their phones and are constantly distracted, almost been hit numerous times, and when I honk at them i get the finger? Company needs to keep better track of their employees especially when the trucks are representing a company name. Inexcusable.

On a positive note, I like cutting edge However, for 2 days theyve been blowing leaves around and I have to work at night! I get a raging headache from the sound of leaf blowers and I cant get back to sleep. Cant you guys use racks or something that sucks the leaves up? They make machines that look like leaf blowers but actually sucks them up. Should please look into updating your equipment. Less gas being used + more time efficient = less of a headache for me
