This company was highly recommended to us four (4) years ago by a friend based on many years of taking care of her trees. At that time the original owner was Orvis and he and his crew became our tree guys! When I learned that he had retired, I was thrilled to find that Mark, the new owner, was continuing to provide the same great service. He has kept most (all?) of the same crew and working with him is very easy. They recently trimmed all of our trees ( oak, pecan, magnolia, palm) and they did a superb job. Just moved to Galveston and needed some trees in our backyard cleaned up. Orvis came to the house for an estimate and sent me the quote for work within 24 hours of me calling the company. They showed up promptly, worked quickly and did a great job. We have an oak tree over a pool which needed quite a bit of work. They worked hard to keep debris out of the pool while they worked and cleaned the yard and pool after their job. Always great to find a reliable business and we will definitely use Treeworxx again when we need more work done.

I rarely post reviews but I had to share my experience with this very professional company. I contacted multiple tree services and 1). this is the only company that called me back immediately on a Sunday out of business hours and continued to communicate with me through pictures, texts and phone calls. During the week the other companies took days to get back with me with limited conversations. 2). They are Very reasonable with pricing 3). Upon arrival of the job they realized there were landscaping rocks that were embedded in the dirt and the tree roots that were so deep that it was almost impossible to do the job. Instead of stopping the job they went way and beyond with rocks everywhere and put extra protection for neighbors homes and mine. It was challenging because they had to stop when cars drove by. Their blades will probably have to be replaced. It took double the time of what was expected and they raked up all those rocks and placed everything perfect. AND THEY DID NOT CHARGE ME AN EXTRA PENNY. 4). They delt with very difficult neighbors with nothing but professionalism that I warned them about. 5). My other neighbors enjoyed watching a guy go up and down these 20 feet trees on his own with only a rope without a ladder and how fast his was. VERY IMPRESSED. 6). The owner also referred me to another professional to be able to remove all the deep embedded rocks because he knows I want a garden and there is no way i can without a professional. 7). He offered to return at no extra fee once more rocks are removed to go deeper to remove more of the tree trunks. THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!! I will refer them for ever!!!!! I am very pleased with the work the Galveston crew did. They removed my dead palm trees and a dead Ash tree. The freeze was hard on us, but they did a great job cleaning up our place. They were on time and very professional. My yard was cleaner after they left than before. I highly recommend them.

I had several bids to trim up trees on my property (one is about a 100 year old oak). Tree Worx wasn t the cheapest but the additional service that were included in the service were worth it. They did an EXCELLENT job! They were prompt and chipped/hauled off the trimmings. Then a couple days later, they came back and fed my trees at the roots! BONUS!! Tree Worxx was absolutely amazing to work with. They trimmed all the trees at the Islander East Condos and even trimmed some trees that were not part of the bid. They went way above and beyond to make sure we were pleased with the job. They gave us a very reasonable price and were on time. It was extremely windy which made their job much more difficult, but they persevered and made our property look great. They were very professional, courteous and friendly.

We had Tree Worxx remove a rotting magnolia tree in our backyard that had been struck by lighting during hurricane Ike and never recovered. Orvis Himebaugh, the owner, came out and consulted with us on the best course of action. He is competitively priced and very professional. His crew had the tree down in a half day, hauled all the debris off, and cleaned up afterwards. We even had him trim some Mexican fan palms and remove a dead Bismark palm from one of our other properties. We were very impressed with Orvis and his depth of knowledge. Tree Worxx removed several large trees and then trimmed and deep root fed a very large & old oak tree for us. They communicated well, were timely in scheduling, showed up when they said they would and were very thorough. We weren t home when they worked at our place so they sent photos of their work after they finished. They were also very neat! They cleaned up all of the leaves and sawdust from the cuts and left the ground level and smoothed out where they ground the stumps. I ll use Tree Worxx again and highly recommend them to my friends and family.

Tree Worxx took down a huge tree for me. I called in the morning and they had it down and cleaned up by 2pm. A large 20 foot limb had fallen on my house and I was concerned about damage to the roof. I had a bid to cut down a Tallow tree that was hanging over my fence and to shape and thin out a Burr oak and some small holly trees. I also wanted a corner of my bed cleaned out and the plants cut back and pruned. The tallow tree was cut and taken away, but the other work would not have gotten done had I not gone out and started working with the workers. My Burr Oak was pruned by cutting the top of the tree off!! Just the top! Who does that!!! I hope I do not lose the tree. All of the other long lanky branches were left. Not a professional job at all. Workers were exhausted and over worked.

UPDATE!! TreeWorxx now does my lawn! Thank you for a job well done! After all the rain we had, my .60+ acres was out of control so I needed my lawn done desperately and the rain was coming again! Orvis and his crew mowed, weedeated and edged the site and bagged ALL the grass just in time! Wheww! Professional and Courteous! All I can say is WOW! Thank you Tree Worxx! I had over 60 palm trees at my business Galveston Island Palms that needed trimming and or removed between Texas Sabels and Queen Palms. One of my queen palms had been struck by lightning and 4 others didnt survive the freeze, so a total of 5 trees had to be cut down to the ground. :( They arrived with all of the proper equipment for the job and got the job done in a timely manner in spite of the rain. After triming and removing what needed to go they loaded it on their dump trailer and away they went. The price was very reasonable and Orvis was really great to deal with. Thank you TreeWorxx and all your great team members for removing a massive Water Oak tree that was really close to my house and limbs really high above my roof, it was removed completely and the branches were guided safely away from my house. They left it clean afterwards. They started around 8:00AM cutting massive branches and then it was knocked down completely by 1:00PM. After it was knocked down they then cut it to pieces, the smaller pieces were grinded. The area was blown clean. They left my property same day by 4:00PM. Price was very reasonable and affordable. The whole staff was really nice. I found that they were insured too. But dont take my word for it do your own homework too.

TreeWorxx did a fantastic job trimming our palm trees in front of the house, cutting limbs back and removing a tree that was growing into fence. First, this contractor shows up on time when he says he will for his quotes and to complete the job. Anyone who has remodeled a home knows this is the first sign of a great contractor (however simple it is to show up on time) as it shows that the contractor is experienced in project management and showing respect to the homeowners time as well. He came out with one other assistant and they removed 5 trees and ground the stumps as well as cleaned up the site within 3 hours. He had good working equipment and knew the job well. Price was good. I will be using for the lawn install in the future.

I hired Tree Worxx to trim some trees and cut down a large palm tree at my commercial building in Galveston. They did a great job and left zero mess. The price was very competitive as well. I would highly recommend.
