Galena Lawn Care has done an excellent job getting our lawn healthy and our family, friends and neighbors are now commenting on how green and lush our grass looks.

The crew did a nice job with our edging and mulching project. They were able complete the job in a couple of hours and the results look very professional. Mark stayed in contact throughout the scheduling of the work and followed up to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. We will be giving them a call next year.

I used Galena Lawn Care for mulching my planting beds all around our home. (Approximately 12 yards) The team did a great job of cleaning out the beds and sharpening bed edgings etc up. In this regard they exceeded my expectations. The mulch was spread with great care and it looks wonderful. The team was courteous, professional and kept me informed throughout the process. This was a good value and saved my knees and back from hours of abuse.

I contacted Galena Lawn Care for a spring clean up and mulching of my garden beds and they were able to come out within a week. The team did a fantastic job edging, trimming, and general clean up of all of my beds and around my trees. They made it look great even before they put the new mulch down! They were prompt, professional, and did a very thorough job. In addition, most companies lack in communication, but Mark was in constant communication with me and answered every question I had. Weve used Galena Lawn Care for mulching, aeration, and over-seeding services over the years. Mark and the rest of the team have been courteous and professional at every visit, and its clear from watching them in action that they take great pride in their work. They were most recently out for aeration and over-seeding; they confirmed that utilities were marked before arriving, took their time to ensure that every last inch of the yard had been touched by the machine (performing repeat passes where necessary), and thoroughly cleaned up the driveway, walks, and street before packing up to leave. Very satisfied with the work, and well definitely have them out again in the fall!

Very professional. Previous company that aerated the yard compromised our Spectrum cable. Galena Lawn Care had cable line marked, and when they aerated they did so parallel to the line. They also cleaned the sidewalk of ground plugs when finished. All questions were quickly answered. Will use again.

They call OUPS right away and within a week, it s done. I added over-seeding this year (which I usually don t) so I ll see how that goes. I ve contacted this business several times to receive a quote for lawn care, but they never get back to me. The lady who answered the phone didn t know how to spell Galena . I understand the owner might not have time to answer phones, but at least train that person to know the name of your own business.

Galena Lawn Care is a fantastic business. We found them through google originally, and they have taken the stress of yard care off our shoulders. As a busy family with kids and pets we got to the point where we couldn t consistently handle our yard due to the acreage, so we went searching and found Galena Lawn Care. Since signing up for their services they have been consistently on time every week, work effectively, and their communication is on point. Any concerns we have had they address, and when we ve had some rough time financially, Mark (the owner) has worked with us to ensure we had time to get our accounts back up. I cannot stress enough the professionalism, and quality of their business, and plan to continue to utilize their services and likely subscribe to some of their other packages for seasonal cleanups, weed control/prevention, etc. Highly recommend them.

Would highly recommend Galena Lawn Care! They did a great job aerating and over-seeding. Mark, the owner, went above and beyond after one of our Invisible Fence underground lines were hit by the aerator which was my fault for not marking properly. As a gesture of good will, he reduced our bill significantly to help offset the costs of the Invisible Fence repair. He didn t have to do this but did it to help out which was greatly appreciated! Stand up guy!

Based on their photos and reviews I contacted Galena Lawncare for a quote. They stated they would text before they come. They failed to text me beforehand and messaged me when they were at my home. I informed them that I was less than 5 minutes away and as I was headed home they send a text saying Took a walk around, I am going to have to pass on this one . When I arrived in less than 5 minutes, they were gone. I tried to call an there was no answer. This showed a lack of professionalism and communication.

Cant figure out how to mow a sloped yard. Had to find another REAL company that can actually mow. Wouldnt suggest. Didnt realize people were so lazy they cant break out an actual push mower.

After our previous lawn care company ended lawn services, we switched to Galena Lawn Care. We are ending our second season with them. Our yard never looked professionally mowed. There would be complete rows or patches of grass missed. We shouldnt have to finish the work after the lawn is supposed to be mowed. Our point of contact was definitely not professional!

Mark did a great job not only aerating and seeding our yard, but also giving advice to grow a healthy yard too. Hes been very responsive to my text messages. He made sure the utilities were marked to avoid them. There aeration three to four inches deep and he went over it twice as I seen recommended my most blogs. The seed came up in about a week with consistent watering and it is the best our yard has ever looked. he was very willing to answer questions on how to take care of our yard. He is very easy to work with as well.

I want to start this off by saying I am not picky about my yard. If it s cut, I m good. It s just grass So, one thing I do not want to do is have to babysit my lawn care guy. It s embarrassing for both of us. If you re supposed to do a job, then do it right that s all I ask. This lawn service started out fantastic in 2018. As time went on, our service got worse and worse. Our first mow of 2019 was extremely sloppy. The worst so far. More than one third of the yard was not trimmed and the front yard had large patches of grass that were missed by the mower. We chose not to complain because we assumed, they were having a busy week and would fix it the next week. The second week nobody even showed up! We received zero notification of any delay or cancellation whatsoever. We also had an issue stemming from the previous year that was never resolved. We still have large ruts and bare spots in our yard from the previous year (2018) that the owner (Mark) caused after a large rain. He claimed the grass would grow back on its own... well it didnt. Our new lawn service informed us this was likely caused by lawn service going too fast & making too sharp of a turn on wet grass. Also, Galena Lawn Care seems to have a new employee every few weeks. This alone speaks volumes. The vibe the owner gives off on the phone says he is in over his head and can barely keep up. I wish them well and I hope they get it worked out, but I would not recommend this company to anyone that wants reliable lawn care.
