Superb set of professionals, from the salesman to the team doing the work. The owner Chad works along the others and the precision with which a HUGE dead pine was removed from our yard was amazing. Not one bush was affected. Debris was collected the next day - can't tell it was there. The stump was ground down and raked over to avoid a mound of wood chips. Our yard looks cleaner now than before they came. Highly recommended. Pricing is fair.

These guys are the best! I used them at a large commercial property in Gainesville to lift canopies and remove dead/ dying trees. They had to work around parked vehicles, directing foot traffic around their working areas, and very tight spaces behind our buildings. It was not easy, but they didn't bat an eye and assured me they would handle everything. We were very impressed by how clean they left our jobsite. Chad, John, and the entire crew were prompt and professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for any type of tree work!
Needing a professional tree trimming company in Alachua county, I met with Shade Shifters. John, was very knowledgable and made great suggestions for my situation. The crew used high tech equipment, professionally trimmed the massive pines, and cleanup was impeccable. The whole process was superbly done! Shade Shifters is definitely amazing!!!! Chad (owner) came to my home and removed a big pine tree that was bound to fall on my house. He also trimmed my live oak and it looks beautiful! We have hired Shade Shifters 4 times already. Weve had trees taken out, weve had trees cleaned up, weve had bushes removed and weve had a Ton Plus of old mulch and leaves and small brush removed from out yard after we pulled it all up. Chad is super responsive and great to connect with. He also collects payments and doesnt hound you. He will not charge you before its done and you are happy. Period. I offered to pay early 2 times and he graciously said not till the job is done. John comes out to do the estimate. He is great. Make sure that if he missed something on the write up tell him. Because the guys will do it anyway if you bring it up nicely but why cause the hassle. We always have lots to do so its always possible to miss or mistranslate what I say lol. And he is super cool about it. He goes around marking the trees and is very clear what they do. Its a full team that comes out and each person does their part to get in and get out fast, safe and clean. We have had no issues and will continue to call on them this year coming up. Also they we almost always quick to squeeze you in, especially if you have a tree emergency. Make sure to call these guys first and if not call them after you think you got the best price. Text Chad, have John come out, and then Talk with Chad after if you find anyone cheaper.
