How is this place still in business? First time we scheduled an appointment, someone showed up at a random time (not one we had booked) and left a Sorry We Missed You card on our door. Once we finally connected with someone, they did the first spray and put out some rat traps (we had 1 rat in the house). They didnt catch anything. We put out another round of traps ourselves which caught the rat. We paid extra for rat removal upfront, only to find out that they come when they can for removal. They wanted to leave a dead rat in the kitchen for FOUR DAYS! Needless to say, we cleaned up the dead rat ourselves, no thanks to them. They did give us a small refund for the charge. Then we got a call that they were coming for our quarterly service and wanted to confirm the appointment (which we had never set). We werent available and asked to reschedule. We rescheduled and then got ANOTHER phone call, confirming an appointment on a random day at 8 AM! We had not scheduled that appointment and when we called back to find out what had happened with our appointment we were told there was no availability at the time our appointment had been set for, and that our appointment was never set. They had sent us a confirmation email for the appointment, but apparently no appointment was available at that time?? The person on the phone said they could forward a request for a review, but didnt know when or if someone would get back to us! We called back because that didnt sit right, and the next person we talked to said they didnt know what happened to our appointment but our originally booked time was totally available and they re-booked us back to the time we had set in the first place. Absolute chaos and such a waste of time!!!

Im writing this review in regards the job Mr. James Winfield from Florida Pest Control has done for me today. Mr. Winfield has just been newly assigned to my buildings this month (I manage an apartment complex). I wanted to make sure to say that he, as other pest control specialists from Florida Pest Control have done in the past, reliably knock it out of the park with the work theyve done for me and my company. Any issues with pests have always been taken care of in a timely and professional manner, and consistently yielded favorable results. I especially enjoyed this visit as my first time meeting Mr. Winfield. This being because he made sure while he was doing a thorough and stellar job Ive come to expect. Not all hero s wear capes. Darrell McMahan and Kathy (that s with a K ) are out here doing the absolute most. In going out of their way to help me nail down my appointment and set up the account, they almost certainly saved me from a life a crime. I had considered burning the house to the ground to eliminate bug problem, but Kathy and Darrell stepped-in and assured me there was a better way. Together, they saved a house and my sanity. 10/10

From YVONNE RUSHING GAINESVILLE FL FEBRUARY 2024. On February 2024 there was an incident that happened on one of my properties. I told the salesperson from the beginning that emails were not a reliable source and I have to be called to notify the tenants and meet them over there before any service is rendered. She said now they have to have a credit card and email address, she was so nice and I had been calling for months because they said I had a bill to be paid, and no one could explain the bill but her and they sent me from one department to another department, etc. They had the wrong address on a bill ( check) and I gave them a check on the day of my sons funeral and it was never recorded ( February 24) as a landlord I have the responsibility if someone is coming to see if it s a good time to come over because they ( my tenants) may not be home. They went on the property without authorization and used my credit card without my authorization. When FLORIDA PEST CONTROL ARRIVED the tech told her I see why you got bitten by a spider because whoever did the work did a poor job( it was their own worker) they had built an exclusion a while back, he even gave the tenant pictures to use against me. I lost the tenant and she said she was going to sue me thanks to the FPC TECH. A couple days ago I received a notice from a collection agency for something we never authorized. My credit the last time I checked was 800+ because I ALWAYS pay my bills. I need to collect the money you took from me. Thank God the credit card I used was one I have to load. I only signed one contract ( with her help) and paid them $354 for that property. The others were not authorized and I had no idea they were serviced or being serviced. That was horrible and I feel manipulated. What I want from you is corrective action acknowledging your wrong and credit my account. Thank you. Worst service I have ever encountered very unprofessional I have had them for over 5yrs and theyre services has gone to the ground Ive given them several times to correct the issue but they havent spraying and continue to see spiders bugs and they spray outside so I continue to see ants and so on a waste of my money

Theyre terrific. Specifically Randi McCord the team supervisor really knows his stuff. We had issues with Armadillos around the house and they took care of it, trapping and moving them away to a better place for them and us. Better place meaning open unoccupied fields, nothing bad.

Called Florida Pest Control to get some information with my home pest service. Spoke with Tony Burch, and he was able to answer all my questions about the services provided for terminate extermination.

I had a termite policy from Florida Pest Control. Unexpectedly they texted my wife to say our policy was cancelled. They did not call, text or email me despite the fact that I am the contact listed on the account. I called their call center to try and resolve the issue (it wasn t easy to talk to a person.) they gave me a case number and said someone should call in 24 hours. No one called. I tried to contact them via the contact form on their website. I also texted the number their website says you can text. I have not received any reply. I don t know why my policy got cancelled and I don t know why I can t get anyone to communicate with me.

The staff that come out routinely to our house are friendly, respectful of pets, and knowledgeable about the kind of pests we saw in the house to reassure us that we are doing our best and bugs just end up in the house, especially during the rainy season. Darrell McMahan gets a special shout out for taking care of us lately! Update: We thought we had a critter in the attic the other day, and even though it may have been just on the roof, Darrell still checked everything out and walked me through potential scenarios and fixes. I had thought it was dumb that I had to call in the first place over a critter that may have left the same day, but he validated my concerns, was professional, and I felt like it was worth the call to get the reassurance that squirrels werent living rent free in the attic. Thanks Darrell!

Service at my property started in 1981. Ended in 2024. I have no complaints about the technicians. The billing department went off the rails in 2023. They leave voicemails about services I didnt sign up for. When you try to call back, you reach a call center thats aware of the problems. Who is CVC Rentokil North America? I cancelled my account and signed up for a locally-owned company. September 2024 update: FLORIDIA PEST CONTROL (not a typo) figured the solution to people cancelling Rentokil is to spam mailboxes with $50 off coupons. If you call and ask to be removed from the companys CRM, you get the runaround Ill ask a manager to contact you. Nobody will contact you or remove you from the CRM.

Ron has been out lawn doctor with Florida Pest Control from the beginning of our home ownership. One morning I came out to greet him and found him on his knees, eyes down on the grass looking for the enemy! Not only do we get great service, he continually comes up with great advice on what we can do to supplement the fertilizer and chemicals to keep our yard in optimum condition.

WARNING!!! READ ALL THE ONE STAR REVIEWS! There is a pattern here! .I was set up on quarterly mosquito control and just the other day realized I hadn t heard from the company in a little while (Feb) and that surely it was time to treat again. When I called to inquire when they would be out again I was informed that my account had been sent to collections!!?? I have received NO communication from the company, no warning, that this was happening! Customer service is absolutely ridiculous. When I called they would give me absolutely no information. I was told a manager would call me back, they never did. I was told they would email me the information for the collection agency, they never did. Finally, when I called today, I got someone who at least sent me that info. And she told me it was for $600!!! No service I have ever got from them has cost that much, how in the world do I owe them $600, I have no clue! Of course I call the collection agency and there is no one available to take my call and I had to leave a message, so we will see where this goes I am very disappointed as I have never had any issues with this company up until now. I feel like I have been totally scammed! And seeing the other one star reviews, I am evidently not the only one this is happened to. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Not only that, but he is just an all around awesome person! Hes always so nice and respectful of myself, my kids and my grandma who is usually outside most times he gets here! *To start, they are not a locally run company, so by using them, youre just succumbing to big chains and not feeding into our locally run family businesses.* Despite providing my credit card information 5 times, (not exaggerating), they failed to collect it correctly and set up auto-draft as promised. This led to confusion and frustration on my part when I received a notice from a collections agency for past-due fees totaling $374, covering a span of one year. Throughout this ordeal, I made repeated attempts to resolve the issue directly with the company. However, I was met with unprofessionalism and a lack of accountability. Instead of addressing the problem, they deflected responsibility and directed me to the collections agency. This experience has left me deeply dissatisfied and concerned about the companys lack of regard for customer care and financial transparency. It is unacceptable for a service provider to mishandle sensitive financial matters and neglect their responsibility to their customers.

William Schullerman recommended TAP blown in insulation to us because it is a cellulose type and would maintain a better R value over the blown in fiberglass we already had and which had already flattened out and our A/C was costing a fortune. The TAP stays fluffy and has already shown it s value in our electric bill. Thank you

Tony Burch did our termite inspection. He did a thorough job inside and out. Though he didnt find any termite activity, he did point out some issues he found during his inspection that may cause issues with other types of pests. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Good service. Besides the regular service, they come out if we have any problems. We had a mouse that somehow entered our house. Probably because of the new construction. The mouse was caught and removed.

The actual technician was great. The business itself is unprofessional. When someone first came out they offered autopay. Apparently a bill was due and I didn t receive notice in the mail or email (I have record of all my mail via USPS). I call to schedule service and I m told my account went to collections. After calling on 4 separate occasions, I finally speak to the manager/general manager who says they don t offer autopay and customers are expected to know they need to call after each service provided to pay the associated fees. Then he says I was on a three month plan. Which is it? I have never left a poor review but this is an unfair business practice that can and will likely affect my credit. Sending an account to collections without sending a bill first is dishonest and irresponsible.

We had them for 9 months and our yard is far worse than when we started. This company was recommended to us but I just recently found out they went under new ownership last year and quickly went downhill. I would never recommend them for lawn maintenance. Even after several extra visits and lots of money, our lawn is horrible. We cancelled our service and called out someone else who told us our lawn was treated for the wrong kind of weeds and the pH is way off.
