Professional service!

I dont normally write negative reviews; however, I feel that it is important for the public to know about my experience with Sun Power Lawn Care (SPLC) over the last 6 months. My review is not reflective of the SPLC crews nor the office staff as they were always polite and respectful in my interactions with them. I believe that the maintenance program prices listed on their internet site are very misleading. After reviewing the three programs listed, and after a visit from Sun Power to go over what we wanted to have done, we signed up for what we thought would provide us 39 visits per year along with fresh mulch installed in the spring. The internet site states that this program (Prestige Package) starts at $229/mo, while the middle program (Full Service) starts at $169/month. The Full Service Program does not include leaf removal, mulch, or sprinkler system. We have no grass in our front yard and almost none in our back yard. Our entire lot is about 1/3 acre (which includes the area on which our home sits). Our contract was for $260/month; and, we thought this included new mulch as there is virtually no mowing to be done. I recently learned that our contract does not include mulch, after discussing this with the office manager. After this discussion I became concerned about the cost per month because the SPLC crew (2 and occasionally one 1 person per visit) rarely spent more than 10-15 minutes at our property (at least when we were at home to observe their visit). After much discussion with the company management, we decided that we were being overcharged way too much for the little bit of work that was being done on our property so we have discontinued our contract with them and will pursue other avenues for yard maintenance. Additionally, this is the only business that we deal with that requires payment up front before any work is done. Because of our experience with Sun Power Lawn Care, I would caution anyone thinking of signing a contract with them to read carefully the contract offered, ask a lot of questions regarding what is meant by each service they indicate they will provide, and make sure you are getting all of the services you thought you had agreed to receive and that your contract actually reflects all of the services they will provide along with a list of services they do not provide unless they will provide at an additional cost.

Currently using them and for the amount they charge, they are not being proactive. I have reached out several times, with pictures with yard issues, and you have to reach out multiple times before getting any type of response. By the time they respond and take care of the issues. The HOA already has sent their 2nd letter before getting fine. If I am paying over two hundred dollars a month, I hope to have immaculate yard service, or else I might as well go back to paying $100-$120 a month for some mom and pop yard service

Jermaine and Jordan came by to take care of my initial cleanup. I wasnt sure what needed/could be done for optimal clean up so they obliged and did everything imaginable. To make sure I got my monies worth, they put a great deal of effort in to making sure every nook and cranny was taken care of, and in suggesting additional ways they could contribute to the health and look of my yard in the course of regular maintenance. We called Sun Power to discuss a quote and they told us they would reach out within two days. After two business days I called back for an update and they told me they didn t have my information on file. I gave my contact info again and they told me they would respond with a quote within two days. After two more business days, I called back and asked if I could be connected with someone directly to discuss a quote; which they told me wasn t possible. I decided to submit a request for a quote directly through their website. I received a generic email a few days later asking me to fill out a form and submit pictures of my lawn. I submitted everything the same day and never heard anything back.

Called and left message for lawn care, never received call back. Disappointed

Kyle showed up on time, and quickly diagnosed all our issues. Very polite service, and he clearly knows how to work hard. Highly recommended. Thanks Kyle.

Tom and team answered my cries for help when, after near 2 weeks of rain, my grass rose to over 13 tall and my push mower could not handle it. The Sun Power team arrived exactly when Amanda said they would. They came, they saw, they MOWED!!!! They did a standup job, very clean despite the amount of clippings, edged and cleaned the sprinkler heads of grass (not that Im watering anytime soon). The best part of this experience was that my neighbor hurt his back a couple weeks before and couldnt cut his lawn either. Yes, the property is small, but they ran the mower over it so it too, looks great! A stand up job by all! Amanda, you were very kind and attentive to my needs, and I couldnt thank you enough! !!!! My yard started getting out of control once my mower died and I had to do something quick to get it under control. I called Sun Power and they sent out Andy and Sam, who absolutely nailed it! Their workmanship, efficiency, and service was spectacular. Great job!

Ive been a customer of Sun Power Lawn Care for five years and absolutely love their service! Andy and Sam go above and beyond to move my sons toys and lawn furniture ensuring my entire yard is serviced. If a strong storm or hurricane comes through, theyre kind enough to remove debris and place it by the roadside for pickup. As working parents, my husband and I cant express how wonderful it is to have zero worries about our lawn and have more time to spend with our son on the weekends.

SunPower rates 5 stars. They are reliable, reasonably priced, and workers are friendly, yet professional. I like that SunPower has a 34-week-per-year plan since in winter months not much is happening in the way of growth. The workers sometimes change from week to week but they are always very courteous and will do a good job. Also, depending on rain, the day of the week that they come may change, but they always show up. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Sun Power Lawn Care. They are affordable and do a great job. We have used them for a few years now and have been very happy with the efficiency of their lawn and edging services and attention to detail. Also, for those who enjoy quiet and want to be environmentally friendly, note that their equipment is solar powered so they dont use gas. And, did I mention quiet my dog doesn t even bark when they come!

Sun Power does not use gas motors. This is a great feature for me since I work mostly at home and quiet is valued. Toms team shows up and I am not even aware that they were there until I step out of the house to see the lawn has been cut and bushes trimmed. This is a great service.

Tom personally came to my house, where he created, and then executed a great plan to add mulch and flowers to my home. The visual impact was stunning, a total transformation, and the best part was, he handled all of it, down to the smallest detail.

Excellent work, I am very pleased! I recently got a property and the back yard looked like it had never, ever been mowed. I called Tom and told him I want the yard cleared out and plants trimmed so I can lay down some rocks and never have to mow or trim anything again. They did an amazing job, and fast! My overgrown yard is now clean, I can see my fence, and they cleared out everything so I can just lay down rocks easy. I recommended them for any lawn needs, theyre solar powered too so you leave less of a carbon footprint, and I love that.

My neighbor used this service and the tree and lawn debris was piled on my side of the property line. By the time the city cleaned up, the grass was damaged and dying. The owner, Tom, responded to my complaint within the hour and called me personally. Tom and his team replaced that area with fresh sod. His professionalism, customer service and personal attention gets a 5/5.

Tom Snogles, of Sun Power Lawn Care, came out today to repair our sprinkler system. I cannot tell you how pleased I was with their company. He was prompt, professional and very pleasant to deal with. He even noticed an additional leak which we were unaware of and repaired it. I will definitely use them in the future and highly recommend them to anyone with sprinkler issues.

Super cool idea. Sun Power is quiet and eco-friendly. Unless you see them pull up you probably wont know they are there. Tom and his staff know all about Florida lawns and how to care for them. Not only do they care for you lawn, they help if flourish. Our lawn looks great!

We had the pleasure of hiring the services of Tom and his crew to remove leaves from our yard, roof and gutters. This was definitely a challenging job but they accomplished it in a very professional manner with a great deal of efficiency. They also did some weed eating which was meticulously done.
