Oasis Landscape Services, Inc. in Gainesville

Calling me asking me for my insurance information for "traffic management" when my hitch broke on my trailer when I have zero idea who they are or who called them or if or why they were even there when I was waiting on a tow on the offramp for 30 minutes. Scam someone else.

Please beware!!! Oasis Landscape Services has a contract with the state of Florida in Ocala to do their landscaping/mowing on the sides of the interstates. We were driving north on I 75 when one of the machines shot a football size rock from the machine right into our windshield and peppered our new car with smaller rocks and debris. We pulled over and the young man admitted, that although they try to avoid it, it does sometimes happen, he apologized profusely. He called his supervisor Jeff and when he arrived, he took away the driver from us and put him in his pick up. Jeff then made the driver change his story, and Jeff told us “they never admit fault” and to contact the head office in Gainesville, Florida for their liability insurance information. We spoke to Roxanne on numerous occasions and she refused to give their insurance liability information. She was extremely rude and said that they had to do their internal investigation first. Needless to say over a month later, she still is refusing to give us that information. Our insurance company as well spoke to Roxanne on a few occasions and they weren’t able to obtain that information either. Oasis Landscape Services business practices are very underhanded and a reputable company should not have policies as such . When I had said that to Roxanne, all she did was laugh. Oasis Landscape Services has been hired by the city, at least in Gainesville and Ocala, being paid by taxpayers dollars and they should not be allowed to be so shady and dishonest. These counties should look into recruiting a more reputable company, and I will be going further with this as I do not want this to happen to anybody else who is just innocently driving on the interstate. Be aware before you use Oasis Landscape Services because if they damage your personal property they will not take responsibility for it. The policies that are set from top management is to ensure their profits are greater than anything else. Beware!!

This is a horrible and dishonest company! We were driving on I75 south north of Ocala when a giant piece of asphalt was thrown from one of their mowers. It went through the hood. of our jeep and took out part of the engine. It then hit our windshield and bounced off. If it would have been one inch higher, we would have been killed. We filed a police report and the supervisor assured us that this will be taken care of. Well it is 6 months later and our insurance company said that they are denying the claim. We even tried to flag their employees down off the mowers, and they flipped us off as they drove past. They could see that our car was in distress, and they claimed they never saw us! We will be taking this further. I can’t believe how dishonest this company is. As a response to the owner below: 1) the crew was mowing, not picking up debris. 2) I saw the piece of asphalt come out from the back of the mower, bounce off the right lane, and then hit my hood. 3) your mower had just come around a sign and was heading down an embankment so that the back of the mower was lifted when the chunk was shot into the road. 4) your workers denied even seeing us on the side of the road despite the fact that we have video of them driving right by us. 5) I know that the driver had to hear that large of a piece being hit, therefore, he is lying. 6) your supervisor and the Road Ranger told us that this occurs a couple times a year. 7) we have a police report. I think this is all I need to say.

In order for me to get clarification or even a solution to the situation I had to get out of my way to contact someone in a higher position. I did not have the best experience due to lack of communication from the company. I understand the company is just trying to get reimbursed due to an accident that needed repairs. But, I did not appreciate the original people I spoke to at first. I felt like I was just hearing demands with no explanation. Two different papers, two different demands, due dates before agreement or explanation of situation. But I do appreciate the help I got from the person that clarified the situation and professionally took care of the situation.

This isn't about the company itself but an employee. Yesterday my car broke down, i had my 3 month old son and my daughter with me. Ryan pulled over and helped us try to charge our batter when that didn't work he helped us push our car to a safe place. He was very kind and helpful. The company should be proud to have an employee who cares about the people in our community. Thank you ryan for your help.

My boyfriend and I were driving down a busy road they were maintaing and the person weed eating was kicking debree up and a rock flew up and hit our window . I confirmed with the workers that that was their employee. I took pictures of the window and talked to the manager of the place to let them know what was going on. Long story short after emails and text messages back and forth they did not replace my window and told me it was my insurance responsibility to replace the window. Before that the person on the phone told me that people call and lie about this all the time. I felt like they were calling me a liar. I assure you I can afford a window which is now replaced from my pocket. I tried to submit the receipt to the owner and he denied it and sent me the rules of insurance replacing the wi down I stead. I also sent the manager a screen shot of my coverage that they don't pay for window replacements and he still denied it. I feel like they people are not honest and will not correct a problem if one occurs like my situation... be aware.

Zach has been our technician for a while now. He's easy to work with and does an efficient job. When I have issues or pest problems, he comes out to take care of them quickly. The new program and staff are positive changes.

I like that a person answers when I call. I am not fobbed off with automated responses. They are quick to respond to my lawn problems. Zack was friendly, courteous and professional. I have used this company for over a decade and am still a customer.
