We have been using Leapfrog Landcare for yard services for more than ten years and have always been quite pleased with their service and wonderful employees. I have used a few different services in the area, and while none of them were bad, they don't compare to Leapfrog. A friend has an absolutely gorgeous lawn and garden. I asked her how she keeps it up and she told me to call Leadfrog. This sounds like a commercial, but I am so glad I did! When they came to provide an estimate, Greg was thorough, listened to my concerns, and took great notes. A few weeks later the team came back for our fall pruning, and I can honestly say they did the best job I've ever seen. They trimmed, like I asked, without butchering and over prunning. The beds now look tidy without being too manicured, which is my preference. They also installed a few plans and were knowledgeable about placement in relation to sunlight and drainage. The best part, for me, is the excellent communication. Rondi always replies to my emails and has answered so many questions. (Sorry, Rondi!) The crew that comes is friendly and they always check in with me, which I appreciate. I also appreciated that they were able to make recommendations that worked within my budget. Customer for life!
Leapfrog crew did an awesome job installing my french drain and dry creek bed. I’m always impressed with their professionalism and expertise.
We have used Leapfrog for nearly 10 years for landscape plantings and care, and for general lawn care. We have found them to be among the most knowledgeable lawn/plant care companies in the area. Even the technicians on the various teams that perform the treatments and tasks required of them are knowledgeable about what they are doing and why... and proactive concerning issues that should be watched for and/or also considered. Leapfrog is always so responsive and knowledgeable. They work closely with the NCSU Agriculture department to stay up to date on what works best while remaining environmentally friendly. They are so nice and helpful and show up when you need them. Highly recommend.

Several years ago we almost lost our Bermuda lawn, mainly because we didn t know what we were doing. We called Leapfrog and within a year of treatments by true professionals we could see our lawn coming back to life. We ve been using them for about 5 years now and don t plan to stop. All the staff, whether in the administration office or on our yard, are knowledgeable and respectful as they do their various jobs. They give enough time ahead of treatment to make sure it fits with one s own schedule. They always are very patient with me, a nearly 75 year old woman, as we had moved from PA, and I needed to understand different kinds of yearly yard treatments. Our yard looks wonderful! I quit using them around a year ago and this was around my lawn getting worse and continuing to gain in number of weeds. Conner from Leapfrog Landscaping did an excellent job removing the leaves that were clogging up the drainage culvert. He worked persistently until the culvert was clear so that the drainage from rainstorms will properly drain into the lake and away from the residences. Nice job,Conner!!

This company and its team members are AWESOME. From cleaning up my beds before mulching, to the prompt service on needs, they make it easy to business with them. Ive never had a bad experience on any of our projects/maintenance. If I could give 10 stars I would.
I used this company for 2 years. Several things they must work on: skipping cutting grass (longer gaps between cuts) which then left longer clippings. which way to shoot the clippings when cutting. of course you will think it would be away from the mulch and bed areas, away from AC units, fencing. Constant emails with photos of their poor jobs (they did fix some things when told). They do a very poor job keeping Bedding areas clean. Grass and weeds growing consistently through out the year. They would allow the weeds/grass on beds to grow very tall then kill it but never pull them off. Same with grass areas with weeds and other things on the outer perimeter of the property. To make things worse, I send an email asking what is their cancellation process (in order to provide proper notice), they went ahead and terminated service immediately no questions asked. Basically making it clear that they can careless. They did provide me with partial refund.
