Joe took our yard from Okay to Spectacular in 2 seasons. He is a great communicator and knows everything about bermuda grass (fescue, too). If you've got a problem, Joe has a solution. And his solutions work!
We’ve been using Great Expectations for 2 seasons now and I cannot praise this company enough! Joe is extremely knowledgeable, professional and takes the time to explain everything. When he started caring for our lawn we truly thought there was no hope especially since we had no results from a previous companies lawn care. I'm in my second year with Joe and I couldn't be happier! I've used 3 other companies over the 8 years I lived in my house and always struggle with quality of service and weeds. Not an issue anymore! Joe's personal service is absolutely top notch. I think he might care more about my lawn than I do. Lol. I would give this company 10 stars if I could.
**UPDATE** This is our third year with Joe treating our lawn and it is the best it has looked since we bought our house back in 2020. Even throughout the severe drought our property was one of the healthiest in my neighborhood. When we purchased our home we attempted to get the lawn under control on our own, was constantly chasing weeds, and lots of bare spots. Joes knowledge has helped bring our lawn back to normal. We have kids and dogs so we never expect our lawn to be show worthy, but I’m amazed at the difference just a few applications have made. Joe is always very communicative on when he will be at your house to treat, and if something changes he always updates you. To get that level of service for a more attractive price than the big companies we’re offering is huge to me.
He did a fantastic job. We have one of the best looking Lawns in the neighborhood.

Joe has worked on our new lawn for one season and it s coming in very nicely. This is the first house weve owned so Joe has taken the time to explain not only what he is doing but why he is using certain treatments on the lawn. He s always professional and very personable. Joe at Great Expectations was friendly, honest, realistic and great to work with. I completed a quote request online and he got back to me via phone. His response was prompt and he came out the same week to review what we needed done. He provided honest guidance on lawn ideas and weed treatment, really focused on ensuring we didnt waste money on things that would sort themselves out. He also recommended some companies for drainage support. Overall a great experience.

Joe and his team have once again surpassed my expectations. I hired Great Expectations this season. I was moving away from a large chain company. From the get go Joe has been responsive, true to his word and really cares about his customers and his craft. Recently Joe called me just to check in and go over the plan for the remainder of the season. When he mentioned that he drove by to check on things while he was in the area I was floored. Not many take pride anymore and Joe certainly does. Very happy with the results and service.

Great Expectations has provided outstanding lawn service and maintenance! for us! I called Joe as soon as I bought a new build home a year ago in 2021 and he came right out and assessed my lawn. He was very knowledgeable about Bermuda sod and the maintenance needed, especially since the sod was newly laid. His explainations of what was needed for the lawn to flourish were clearly stated and the applicable services were fairly priced. Its been almost a year with him doing regular maintenance such as mowing, fertilizing, and aerating and the lawn looks amazing! Joe is a pleasure to work with and its clear he is passionate about landscaping and cares about his clients. We will definitely continue our lawn maintenance contract with Joe going forward.

The Great Expectations Lawn and Landscape team is THE BEST!! They come every week like clockwork to take wonderful care of our yard. In addition to weekly cutting and edging, we asked them to do a bunch of work in the front of our house. They removed old bushes and weeds, expertly shaped an out of control holly bush/tree, installed new plants and added mulch. It looks amazing! And if thats not enough, they power washed our house and shed. Everything shines! Were so thankful we met Joe and his team. They are fantastic!

Great Expectations was called to get my lawn under control. I am new to area and unfamiliar with Bermuda. However, I am a little outside his service area. But Joe took the time to consult over the phone what I needed to do to get a healthy lawn.. And now my yard looks great from his advise. Joe was extremely professional and a great guy to work with. He recommended the proper fertilizer and had all the big boy toys necessary to properly aerate, seed and fertilize my lawn. He did a wonderful job!! Ill definitely will call him again.
Joe was beyond professional and the work he and his team did for my mothers yard was immaculate! She needed an area of her backyard cleared of brush and debris, and then wanted new dirt put over the area so it would look aesthetically pleasing and be ready for her to plant in and create a garden space. Joes attention to detail was second to none, my mother is extremely type A and loved how close attention he paid to the little things so she didnt need to input on much. His communication with us was plentiful throughout the whole process from quote to finish, and his pricing was extremely fair. My only regret is not getting this review out sooner because of a slurry of family happenings that came up right as he finished the job. Thanks again for such great work and for making my mothers yard beautiful!

These guys are awesome! Very friendly, fast and responsive! I actually approached them as they were cutting a neighbors yard. My mower died before our first cut of the season and they were able to fit me in that day and take care of me. They did such a great job, we decided to put off buying a new mower for the entire Spring/Summer/Fall. Also, they trimmed our hedges and an overgrown holly bush (well, its pretty much a tree now). Would give 10/10 if possible!

Great Expectations also provided aerating and power raking services. I also like their attention to detail especially with courtesy as simple as clearing my curb of grass clippings and debris.
