So far so good 7 months in and the grass is improving and the large areas of dead grass is filling in with new grass.William responded today and knocked on the door to talk to us about the treatment and ask if we had questions. He recommended several things and treated the grass with fertilizer and weed control. Hoping soon the lawn will look brand new but huge improvement so far

Last week Technician ChristopherG explained and walked w me over my property explaining how he was going to treat the weeds and fertilize the grass.He even pulled some weeds as we were surveying my property! The previous week James and Shakur were very knowledgeable and professional in treating the weeds and fertilizing the grass plus adding potash to help hold the water. Thank you TruGreen for all that you do! September 25 I am out of town today and Christopher W called to make sure he was plugging the St Augustine grass in the correct areas. He also called back when he was completed and said I needed more plugs to finish the job and he would let the managers know. Thank you again TruGreen!I I guess I forgot to post last time!

I had to bring TruGreen out again because the first trip they took exactly 2 minutes to treat my entire property. I guess the technician wasnt aware I get notification what time they enter the gate. They came out and retreated after I called and complained, but Im paying top dollar and shouldnt have to watch them that closely.

I like having the tracking. Cornelius was very personable and helpful .

Cornelius came and was very knowledgeable and explained the difference between cinch bugs and a fungus. He then treated my yard and told me if I noticed more dying areas to call.

I called and spoke to a woman who assured me she would pass on my gate code to the tech. Obviously he did. Ot get the message and only treated the front lawn.

I had an issue with the grass and Tru Green stepped up to the plate and solve it for me within two days of the problem, their people were super apologetic, courteous and incredibly responsive to my problem. They are really professionals on this.

In seven months I found out my Bahia grass was being fertilized with St Augustine grass fertilizer. Weeds only got worse. Rep that serviced my yard never treated weeds and said he didn t even have much weed killer on him when I asked him. Then after reaching out four times to TruGreen nothing was done to rectify my issues except for one visit being credited back to me. Was told a General Manager would contact me and never did. Absolutely terrible service.

This is a very good service. The technicians are courteous. The treatments work - my lawn looks great. Customer service is easy to reach and helpful.

I cancelled my previous provider and signed up with TruGreen. The sales rep told me that they have a price match guarantee. After sending them the info from my previous provider, signing up for their mobile app and giving them my credit card they scheduled a treatment the next day. The next day I received an email telling me that they cancelled my account. No explanation whatsoever. I called them and tried to get my service reinstated but all they could tell me is that they could not match my previous price. Their call center was of no help so I asked to speak to a supervisor. They said a supervisor would call me but I never received the call. TERRIBLE customer service!! I do not recommend this company.

My property butts up against golf course . Technician James told me to get him assigned to my property and he would remember where property line is . James is now my specialist and explained things clearly about my lawn service in a friendly and professional manner.

Technician left a note that he knocked on the door to speak to me. I had both the storm door and the main door closed. I was also in the back of the house so I didn t hear the knock. What kind of a moron lightly knocks on a door when a doorbell is in plain sight?

Communication could be better. Service seems to vary according to what you are willing to pay. Service techs are not consistent so you don t know who you ll get each time. Still considering them and time will tell.

I highly recommend TruGreen for your lawn care services. When I called to inquire on the services I was needing, the representative was very knowledgable on the treatments and very friendly. The appt was scheduled within less than a week and James S came out to provide the services.He was very thorough with explaining the services once again, very respectful to the property, and made sure to cover all affected areas of our lawn. Couldnt be happier with their services! No more fire ants and my dogs can again have a safe place to play!

Have see alot of applicators over the last few years. The one today (9.5.23) was the most tourough and is to be commended. Keep up the good work! 3.2024 Experienced two consecutive mechanical breakdowns which delayed service. Called and was corrected. If indeed there were mechanical issues l hope such matters have been corrective. Weed abatement has not been effective.

True green came Back and sent Elzie who did a good job and explained to me what the previous person they sent didn t. I hope TrueGreen would hire people who are competent with their work and love the work they do..I haven t seen the final result yet but will post photos when I see better results

Updated review - weeds all gone. Sod healthy. Overall happy with the service this past year. The grass is healthy, though we have a member of weeds since my yard was not treated in 10 weeks; we paid for an annual contract.

The driver that did my lawn name was John. He did an excellent job. I watched him spray my property to see if he was going to skip parts of my property and the man did not. He did a job that I would not have to be home to watch. I requested this driver John to do my lawn every time and and if I don t get John, I will watch the other driver I will be watching.

I gave TruGreen a chance and I certainly regret it. The services is too often, or not enough. I have yet to see effective improvement in my lawn. The tech is always different and shows no real intent to improve my lawn. They just drain your bank account with no real accountability. Will be calling Heron back, as they run circles around TruGreen and are actually less expensive and you see the results. Donate your money to a charity instead of allowing TruGreen to get your True Green! Sorely disappointed!!!

3RD EDIT: The email address that they had me email doesnt work. - ORIGINAL REVIEW: Not the right rates for my budget, but they didn t take no for an answer. Not only did they text, but they came by my house AND went to my neighbors houses despite many of us having no soliciting signs. - EDIT: an hour after posting this, they came to my house AGAIN AND they called me. I m so over this. Don t even give your info to this company. - 2ND EDIT: an hour later, I was called AGAIN. My goodness. They said that they took me off the contact list but that it would take several days to go through. I have trouble understanding what s going on but I m very frustrated.

My specialist, Austin, is great... came out for a retreatment of the multiple weeds in my lawn that have not been one bit affected by their previous treatment... very disappointed as my next-door neighbors have TruGreen with the same plan and they have very few weeds I have almost more weeds than grass! something is amiss.. so this review is for my specialist- not the quality of whats Happening on my lawn

Tech did a review of the bushes and shrubs and then went about the treatment and fertilization as deemed needed. Covered all the areas great thorough job.

Trugreen technician, Johnny P., did a thorough job treating my lawn. I live on a corner lot in a golf and country club and several of my neighbors have switched to Trugreen to obtain the same results. My lawn provides positive advertisement for Trugreen, if the technician does a thorough job.

New service. Sales lied, billing was not what they stated. They came before I wanted, took more money. They have attempted to fix the issue, going to give them more time. Didnt see any results. They would literally show up for 4 to 7 minutes and leave. No matter how good your chemicals may be, how accurate can you do your job in a few minutes time? I stopped using them.

The technician that came out and treated our yard was very good. Took his time to let me know what needed to be done and took the time to do the job correctly. Very good technician.

Today was the first day for landscaping service (shrubs, etc.), but he was friendly, professional, answered my questions, and I am pleased with today s experience. Time will tell.

Oh yeah, getting text messages informing me the day before they were coming in case I need to cut the grass, along with the text messages with live tracking & targeted arrival time is very good - this is good to see technology helping and it eliminates any anxiety I might have had about their service.

My lawn has gradually improved over the past two years TruGreen has been servicing my property. No more sparse or blotchy areas. This is so noticeable that my neighbor provides positive feedback about the appearance of my lawn.

I paid up front for weed control, insect control and fertilization. They have sent 2 bills, new reps have called 4 or 5 times to sell me the same services. I have been waiting 3 weeks for someone to return to my house to explain why my grass is dying since the first application and to explain arriation to me. All I can get are call centers in Miami and Trinidad. I suggest if you are going to use TruGreen dont pay up front, but my real suggestion is DONT use them at all.. unless you want a dead yard. Nowhere to post the pics. Guess they cant deny it with pics. They came today Oct 13 for consult and treated yard again. They were told DO NOT treat today.That will be the third time in about 6 weeks. Oh yes I did contact them and now the yard is even worse. Wont respond to email any longer. You also cannot call the local office directly. Several timesy call was routed to Trinidad.

Just had to slam on my brakes in the rain thanks to one of their drivers running a stop sign coming out of Lancaster at Loch Leven, then ran the light at 44 going to Lakes of Mount Dora. If thats how careless they are on the road I wonder how they treat your lawn...

Good only first time.

This is my yard after 1 year of weed control service. Just horrible. After the first couple of treatments lawn was looking good but now this. I had called several times in the last couple of months complaining about the amount of weeds in my yard. I emailed them on 3/3 with these pictures attached stating how unsatisfied I was with there service and the response I received was that I need to wait 7-21 days after the treatment to schedule another treatment! What?? this is what it looks like after 13-14 treatments! So after my 15th treatment I m thinking ok I m done with this service I can get a new company out here and what is on my door? A true green lawn service sheet/bill! So I m thinking ok I must have had one more treatment on my yearly service. Nope the next day there is a change in my bank account for $62.00. Apparently the yearly service rolls over! Unknown to me since I did not sign a contract. Called to find out what this was and was told that it automatically rolls over! And no I would not get a refund. There satisfaction guarantee is a bunch of bull. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I am also contracted for Mosquito control which helps keep the Mosquito population to a minimum.

True green has killed my Bermuda grass by not using proper fertilizer. Will not contact me back to resolve issue. TERRIBLE COMPANY. I have reached to TruGreen and I still get no help. I had to purchase sod to repair their mess.

Total waste of money! Went with TruGreen and only one in neighborhood with massive lawn/ weed issues. Company mgmt totally unresponsive to complaints and failed to address issue. Save your money!!

TruGreen has basically ruined my lawn, we arent talking about their treatment didnt work, no their treatment was working until they drove over my lawn with a machine that had something on its wheels. Whatever it was it left dead grass tire tracks all over my lawn! I called customer support, someone will be by in a week. They sent someone, who really had the audacity to say It will grow back. This is true. It will grow back but in the meanwhile I have to endure a lawn with brown streaks. They did send out a man to plug the affected areas. Now most of the plugs are dead. Its more than a month later and the problem still exists.

Consistency is very important, in my last service the tech (Mr D_______ M.) arrived at 11:50a.m. in front of my house for my free service, stayed in his service truck for 10 minutes, 20 minute later the truck was gone, according to my neighbor. Im not saying he didnt treat my lawn, but if he did, why wasnt there a warning sign on my front lawn and rear lawn or a printed receipt on my door, only an electronic receipt in my account. I dont even think my back yard was treated. In business, you can gain trust in time for years, but loose it all in one negative practice. I will be evaluating this last service making a decision who would I hire for my lawn service for the next few weeks.

Did not treat for cinch bug infestation under the maintenance plan. Wanted to charge extra. Overall cost for services received is extremely high.
