Hambleton Lawn & Landscape in Front Royal

Hambleton came out to do the contracted-for work on such a bitterly cold December day that I was certain they’d call me to reschedule. It was so cold I could barely stand to be outside 15 minutes to inspect their work, but they were at it for hours in the bitter cold and their work was outstanding. Every weed was pulled. Every bush that needed to be trimmed was trimmed. Every bush that needed to be taken out was taken out. Every square inch of ground that needed new mulch was mulched. The work was very well done, under very difficult circumstances.

Hambleton Lawn & Landscape was very professional with our request. Our newly-built home had an overgrown, weed-filled yard filled with heavy clay dirt and we wanted to start with a clean slate, so we requested Hambleton come and clear everything away. The work took place over three phases; first, an estimator came to determine what needed to be done and to set a labor value, then Elmer came over the course of two days. On the first day, he meticulously cleared away the brush and weeds from around our septic tank and electrical meters, including some precarious steep hills that we couldn't get to ourselves. On his second visit, he ran through the rest of the yard with an industrial mower, clearing out all the overgrown weeds and even the princess trees that had begun to sprout. He also cleared away a bunch of the brush in a trench by the road surrounding our property, which would have been hell for us to do ourselves. Now, we've got a running start to treat the soil and overseed our yard this fall and we couldn't be happier. Probably the thing I appreciated the most was their adaptability; there was a minor miscommunication about the initial scope of the work, but once I reached out to Trish in the office to clarify, she was attentive, kept in contact with us, and quickly worked with Elmer and the estimation team to get everything straightened out. Hambleton has the equipment, staff and professional attitude to get the job done. They'll be first on our list if we need help maintaining our yard in the future.

Perfection from the start. Contact from Hambleton was fast and so very Professional. The office staff was respectful kind and very goid at what they do. Appointments were set up quickly and workers showed on time. They l8stened to everything I said and went SO FAR above anything we could have expected. They worked the entire time and finished quicker than any other we have had here. The materials they used were high quality and made our beds look spectacular. They are definitely keepers and hope we have a long relationship with this Company and the people who make it great. It was PERFECT!

Elmer does a great job on my lawn and trimming, but he runs into the side of my house. There was a very loud bump on 3 occasions. It was quickly addressed by management, as i don't want my foundation cracked. I don't think there is a need to mow so close to my house that you run into it. I would suggest you trim and not be so close.

First, communication with the company was good-quick responses to my questions and phone calls. Had first mowing today and am very pleased. The young man who did the work was attentive to detail and used the appropriate equipment for my yard. Other companies only want to use zero turn mowers but they tear up my turf when they turn in the same place every week. so I cancelled the last company and have been doing the mowing myself for the past 6 years. First true professional lawn service I have found in Winchester. Highly recommend Hambleton-they are a step above the rest.

I had Hambleton do a lawn renovation. They were on time and did a great job. We added a truckload of soil to the front lawn. They did a great job in evenly spreading it. After the job was done, they totally cleaned all debris. I have been watering the lawn for 9 days now, and I am starting to see the new grass emerging.
