Tommy's Landscaping Inc in Fresh Meadows

Recently hired Tommy's Landscaping for front yard, side & backyard landscaping of my home. I was very happy with how everything turned out. Tommy came to take a look of what needed to be done and then provided an estimate with a design layout to show his ideas. Since I have a hard time visualizing ideas, this was very helpful to me! The work included adding soil, new plants and trees, new sod, and mulch. Tommy is very easy to work with and responds quickly to texts. Overall was very happy with how everything turned out and would definitely recommend.

Tommy is an amazing landscaper. Not only does he do excellent work but, he is always willing to go above and beyond to help his customers. He is extremely friendly and polite. I will be recommending him to everyone I know!!!

TLDR: Tommy did an amazing job for us and we couldn’t be happier! This is the first yard of our own and we were a bit overwhelmed by the possibilities. We contacted a bunch of landscapers to try to help us along. We were stood up by many who never came when they said they would and then ghosted our calls or told by others that we had to tell them exactly what we wanted (I.e they didn’t provide landscape design). We had only a general idea of what we wanted for our backyard, no specific plants or flowers that we could name, again we were overwhelmed by the options as new homeowners and were hoping a landscaper with knowledge could walk us through options based on our general idea (we knew we wanted more evergreen plants that didn’t require too much extra maintenance from the homeowner because I notoriously have a “black thumb”, but we also wanted a little color). Tommy came up with a plan perfect for us and sent a beautiful mock up image. And then he followed through by coming exactly when he said he would and worked hard with his employee to get the job done quickly but perfectly and for a reasonable price. He gave us instruction on how to care for the sod, especially for the first two weeks as it takes root. My 5 year old is in love with the yard and can’t wait until we can have family picnics and movie camp outs back there! We can’t thank Tommy enough!

After going through 3 other landscapers with prices too high or communication issues (they didn’t understand English well), I noticed Tommy’s 5-star rating and contacted him through email and text. He responds well through texting and phone calls, and did an excellent, thorough job of a spring cleanup and routine weekly maintenance. Good prices, great communication.

I was very happy with the work Tommy did on the front yard of my house, he installed several new bushes and plants, trimmed an overgrown Japanese maple that is the center piece of my rock garden and restored it to its original glory. He also moved around plants that I had already into more suitable spots that enhanced the overall appearance and curb appeal of my house. His pricing was very fair, he is well schooled in landscaping and design, he and his assistant did an extremely thorough and professional job, and I definitely recommend his services.

We had Tommy’s Landscaping come by when we first opened to brighten up the place with some planters and he did a great job and not to mention he did it QUICK! We definitely recommend using Tommy’s Landscaping if you want a trustworthy and knowledgeable landscaper who cares about his work!
