Shoddy inconsistent work that required a fight to be made right. I grew up in the irrigation industry which is why I immediately recognized that 1 of 2 replacement heads installed by ecosystems was set way too low. Ecosystems wanted to correct the problem next spring, but insisted on full payment now. After much insistence they sent Jose, who said the install looked right. He even said it looked like the Hunter documentation, until I got a straight edge out and demanded that he fix it. Ecosystems: do the job right the first time, and when you fail to, promptly make it right.
Wow, Corey is hands down the BEST sprinkler tech I have experienced in my 5+ years sonce moving to NJ. His 20+ years of experience has yielded excellent Customer Service skills, thorough knowledge, accurate and efficient work. The office staff who booked my appointment was excellent as well. Had a last second situation where I needed to be on the early side of the appointment window in order to attend to something and they helped make it happen. Excellence from the front end employees speaks highly of upper management having a mindset of doing right by their customers. If anyone, like myself, had previously used sprinkler companies that left one feeling unimportant and unwanted, check out Ecosystems as a cure to the headaches created by less-than-professional companies.

Unfortunately their products just don't seem to work. Not sure if the people applying them just don't know what they're doing or if they just use cheap stuff. This year I had to email/text them with issues over 10 times regarding fertilizer, sprinkler, and mosquito service. My lawn in the front and back is near ruined. Our dogs do their business in one small section near the deck stairs which is obvious so please don't blame that on them. The rest is all them. Our lawn was thriving last year. Green as can be. Had sod put down in many places the year before that. Unfortunately crab grass and dead spots are what's thriving right now even though they said they'll spray extra crab grass killer multiple times. They blamed the heat and humidity while my neighbors with no sprinklers or fertilizer/lawn care companies look significantly better than mine. They said maybe it's a fungus and spray some "complimentary fungicide". Nope. Then they tried blaming my sprinkler coverage setup in the back and would fix it for the low price of $1,000. It covers just fine considering the problems are happening in the front too. In the end they tried offering me 50% off of an aeration and overseed. I absolutely hate that it came to me having to write about my experience, but I tried working something out with Ecosystems but they just refused to remedy the situation. Their mosquito spray wasn’t as effective this year for some reason. Stark difference between the previous year. Possibly due to the random bouts of rain and the timing with the sprays? I can give them the benefit of the doubt on that but I’m make the point known that we didn’t get bit but a couple times last year with them and this year it’s been worse.
This comment is for aeration work on 9/6/2024. 1). The result is worse than what I expected because the equipment is too heavy and rough. (See pictures in below). 2) requested schedule doesn’t meet request. I called two days ago to request after 2:30 pm because my busy meeting schedule. But, technician came anyway. 3). I hope technician can knock my door before working because special situation but not happen.

The installation crew led by Manny Bravo was super professional, efficient and customer centric. During the installation the backyard and front yard looked like a war zone! But they smoothed everything and you wouldn t even know that they were there! Highly recommended!

Cornelio performed our maintenance check today. We had mentioned that one of our sprinkler heads did not appear that it was rotating. Then, due to recent work on a flat rock wall we had installed around a tree, our existing sprinkler head was too close to the wall & the water flow was not clearing the wall. After evaluating the function our each of our zones he determined one of our sprinkler head was definitely not rotating, he explained he would replace that one & relocate the second unit. He quickly fixed both issues to resolve the problem, then completed the replacement of the dirt, our grass & added seed back to both areas. Kudos Cornelio !!!

Was given 5 hour (!) window, tech didnt arrive until an hour after the window ended. If I did not reach out to EcoSystems several times I would have never known.. I should have at least received a call or text that he would be that late, without me having to ask. Did not even come to the door when he was done to let me know how everything was. I spent a lot of money with EcoSystems this year on a number of repairs, expect a little better service.. On the report I was emailed, it showed the tech shut off the irrigation supply - I shut it off. Usually very satisfied with their service but this was a big disappointment.

We recently installed a sprinkler system and wanted to make sure it was done properly. Some of our friends suggested we call Ecosystems. We did and it was the best decision we made. Jon came over and we realized right away he was the real thing. He carefully assessed the original work. He confirmed the sprinklers were placed correctly and did not try to sell us a new system. Instead, he offered some suggestions and pointed out areas that could be improved. We agreed with his recommendations and hired Ecosystems. The team led by Jon, with Dan and Lucio came on time on one of the hottest days during the recent heat wave. They worked as a team with an amazing cohesiveness and camaraderie. It didnt matter that the temperature outside was 100 degrees and using machinery and working outside was difficult. They were extremely knowledgeable, and all of our questions were answered with clarity and patience. The work inside the house was performed neatly with precision and expertise. The team worked for seven hours and left the inside and outside of the house clean. They even made sure to remove their shoes before entering the house. Before they left, James, a service manager came over to answer any questions we may still have. The entire team was polite and accessible at all times. Thank you, Jon, Dan, Lucio and James for an AMAZING JOB!

I hired Ecosystems for lawn fertilization and mosquito/tick control, but overall, I ve been very disappointed with the results. Despite the treatments, my lawn is still overrun with crabgrass, weeds, and mushrooms, which feels like a complete waste of money. When I initially reached out to Ecosystems to address these issues, they asked me to send photos for review. I submitted multiple photos, but I never received a follow-up call. After I called back, I was told the manager would review everything and come up with a plan to resolve the problem. Three months later, I m still waiting for that promised response. I also had issues with mosquito and tick control. After I called, the manager promptly returned my call the next day and came out to respray, which I appreciated. However, the responsiveness and reliability in handling the lawn issues have been lacking.

Friendly and efficient service. I needed to switch my appointment from morning to afternoon due to a doctors appointment. I expected the new appointment to be in several days but no they were here halfway through the afternoon on the same day. A lot of companies do what they do but not quite as well.

The technician arrived on time after calling 15 ninutes beforehand to let me know he was on the way. He introduced himself, requested access to my water shutoff in the basement and after shutting off the water to the Sprinkler system, proceeeded to Winterize it. Before leaving he gave me a few tips about irrigation of the lawn and left. A thorough professional.

EcoSystems did a fine job shutting down our sprinkler system for the season. They texted & confirmed appointment. Kyle was prompt, efficient & courteous. My only gripe was the 2 times I needed to call the office. Both times I had to wait on hold for over 20 minutes until someone picked up. As a working woman, I do not have time to spend 20 minutes on hold on a personal call. Back office is just not the same since business was sold.

Should have a zero star for scheduling service of sprinklers. Very dissatisfied charged my credit card in January no service till almost the end of May.Prices are very high for turn on and shut off. Will be changing companies after this season. But Kyle was great!

The only negative I have is that they could not accommodate an appointment during the two days off that my son was already off from school. Gregg drove two hrs to get here and size up the job immediately after our contractor called your firm. This enabled us to amend our problem zone during the site work instead of digging again next season. Excellent service by Gregg, Ryan and the whole service team. I do not leave reviews ever but this experience demanded a 5 star review.
Edit: I have added an additional star to this review since Jose S.(Field Manager) and I have been working together on site. He is knowledgeable and professional and is the only one I trust there. Let me preface this review with the fact that I have extensive experience with outdoor plumbing and I also GC my own projects, both residential and commercial. Had Ecosystems repair an irrigation system at my residential property late spring. Their price was on the high side but I had a recommendation. There were a few issues after their visit, some their fault some just because it was an older system. I ve been dealing with a pipe in the backyard, that continuously leaks and floods. They ve sent multiple technicians out to fix it while I ve watched and even helped. Several have claimed there was no leak. We finally found the leak yet the dispatchers won t let them fix it and keep kicking the can down the road by making more appointments. Their management team never calls back even though I m on the phone with the operators almost every other day. Been going on for months, it s absolutely atrocious service. Nothing but a bunch of promises, they need to get their act together.
