I had a cherry tree that was growing too close to my house and may have eventually posed a problem to the house and foundation. Jeremiah came out and gave me a good estimate but what sold me was his willingness to answer my questions and make me feel comfortable about getting the job done. The 4 man team came out and in a short time had the tree down and were working on the stump. Then they started trimming my other tree an Eastern Red bud. They trimmed it away from the house and away from being over the sidewalk. They also trimmed any branches I asked which posed a problem with line of sight from my satellite dish. I am very pleased with my experience with A1 Tree Pros. One small criticism and it s my fault for not asking, the stump area could have been spread better but I can rake it and eventually mulch over. Still overall an A1 job!

Did a great job taking down a big tree in a tight area downtown. If the tree werent there I wouldnt know theyd been there. Neat and tidy! Though they didnt ask me to reserve parking for them and did not do on their end which made for a longer job.

Called A1 Tree Pros to have a very large Tulip Poplar taken out on my property. Jeremiah was quick to respond to my call and was great to communicate with and quick to provide a quote for the work. The guys from his crew who took out the tree and ground the stump did a phenomenal job. Cut up and hauled away all of the branches, and wood from the job. Spread the stump grindings evenly and to grade. They even raked up the leaves and tiny twigs that fell from the tree during the process. Will definitely use A1 Tree Pros if I need another tree removed in the future.

A tree limb fell on a car at 5pm. I was mortified. Thought it was going to have to stay that way overnight. I called A1 and the tree limb was removed by 6pm. Absolute lifesavers and they didnt take advantage of my situation by jacking up the price. It was very reasonable. Highly recommend you call them first.

I found a large tree blocking the driveway on a Sunday afternoon. 24 to 26 inches at the base where it broke off. I am trapped and babysitting my 6 week old grandson. So I call the lucketts fire department. I tell them Im trapped with an infant inside. basically Im told to pound salt. I call Lovettsville and they recommend A1. We were out of their district so they could not help me. A1 shows up and clears this on a Sunday afternoon at 4 pm . even blew off the sawdust from the driveway. Exceeded all my expectations. Extremely hard working as polite. Definitely will be a repeat customer if the need arises.

I recently has A1 Tree Pros remove a large pine tree that had been damaged by recent thunderstorm. Jeremiah was quick to respond to a request for an estimate, gave us a very good price and was fast in scheduling the work to get done. A1 Tree Pros just took down Our 40-year-old Sweet Gum Tree. They did it quickly professionally and the price was very reasonable. They were very pleasant to work with, and I would use them again.

Jeremiah was great to work with throughout the tree removal process. He and the A1 team were able to get us moved up the schedule by nearly three weeks in order to get our tree down before a snow storm. The team was quick and cleaned up afterwards. Although a local nursery was closed that day, the team came back the next day to spread topsoil overtop of the hole where the stump was ground. The most commendable part was Jeremiah s follow-up afterwards. Despite not being home on day 2, he sent me photos of the job and asked if I was happy with how it turned out, then checked in again after the snow to ensure everything still looked good. It was great to work with a company that actually cares about its clientele! I would recommend to anyone needing tree services!

I d very much like to thank Jeremiah for going above and beyond for me. He helped me out with a situation that he chose to take on himself with no compensation (although it was offered). He gave me much of his time, knowledge, expertise, and kindness that it blew my mind. You just don t see enough of that these days. He helped me because his heart told him it was the right thing to do. He cared enough about our tress and my situation to take action for a complete stranger. I called him about a misunderstanding with my neighbor, who had made a complaint to our HOA because our trees are overhanging into our yard. I told him how she wanted us to cut our large Leyland cypress trees back to our fence line. I was afraid it would kill them as it would have meant taking off 1/4 of the trees. I called A1, mostly because they have stellar ratings. I wanted to talk to someone who really knew their stuff. Jeremiah answered the phone and graciously, and without hesitation said he d go by the next day to take a look. True to his word, he did. He looked at them and agreed that the trees should not be cut back and that it would likely kill them. We talked on the phone a couple times and texted a good deal and got to know each other well enough for me to ask for yet another favor. I asked him if he d write a letter to our HOA. He happily agreed. In his letter, he explained his expert opinion on why the trees would likely die if they were taken back to the fence line. It was a well written letter and very professionally done. I believe it will make a difference in our case. Even though we didn t have work performed by A1, their reviews show that they are are a top-notch company. And I know from getting to know Jeremiah, that I ll go to them with future work we need done. I believe (not positive though) that Jeremiah is the owner of A1. I know from experience that everything starts at the top in a business. That person sets the tone, guidelines, and integrity of its employees. If ever there was an example of having an amazing boss, Jeremiah would be it. He s professional, yet incredibly friendly and personable. Everything about this company is great. From the timely consultation to the efficient way the workers had to work around cutting limbs that were surrounded by power lines and internet. Emergency response tree removal - a huge tree fell on my house after a storm. A-1 was there that night to assess damage, then came in with a crane to remove a massive tree trunk with minimal additional damage. They worked fast and efficiently and cleaned up thoroughly afterward.

We had a tree in our front yard that was so over grown it reached past the midpoint of the street. I knew if I tried to trim it the tree would end up looking a porcupine that got in a fight with an electric razor. So I called A1 and the came down to look at it and explain the pan to me. Two teams came out and the tree looks great!

We had a wonderful experience working with A1 Tree Pros. We contracted out removing 3 larger spruce trees from our backyard which were starting to overtake our pool area and causing damage to other surrounding trees. Jeremiah/Phil were great to work with and immediately alleviated any concern about removing such large trees in a close proximity to our pool with a liner. I have used A1 tree pros for removing invasive tree of heaven that was growing out of control on my property, as well as grinding and removing some old stumps, and more recently now pruning my river birch. I was happy with the level of service and the job they did each time I ve used them. They have been very flexible in scheduling as well, especially with the recent pruning they went above and beyond to squeeze me in quickly during a very busy time.

Working with Jeremiah was a pleasure. His pricing was very reasonable for such a tough job. His crew came in and removed a very large, dying tree that was precariously close to my and my neighbors house. When they were finished, it was like the tree was never there. Great, very honest business. Honesty is hard to come by these days. I ll have them back for additional tree removal soon. Had A-1 Tree Pros return for another large, dangerous tree. The crew turned to and safely and efficiently removed it. Great work, great price, I ll have them back again in the fall.

I had a relatively difficult backyard remodel job. I hired A1 Tree Pros to plant privacy trees around my pool and correct a drainage problem. A1 Tree Pros patiently helped me decide what trees would work best (height, width, maintenance etc) and even readjusted them after an unforeseen problem occurred after planting. I was really impressed with not only A1 Tree Pros customer service and response time to any and all questions, but also in returning to check on the trees and drainage after the job. Do yourself a favor and hire Axe Tree Pros to take care of your tree related needs. I was contacted by Jeramiah within a couple of hours of sending a request for service. He met with me the next day to survey the job and give me a cost quote and date that the crew could complete the work. He and and the crew are absolutely fantastic and were even able to get me worked into their schedule a full week ahead of the initial quote. I needed a couple of large trees removed and another tree trimmed. All were very near the bank and extended out over a river. The crew were not only able to cut and trim everything perfectly but were also able to retrieve and dispose of the limbs and trunks leaving nothing in the river. All of this was accomplished without any damage or disturbance to the floating docks surrounding our property. I could not be happier with the service. Called Axe to take down 4 very dead very big trees very close to my house and an outbuilding. They came out quickly to give me an estimate and even tried to find ways to save me money on the project. These folks took on a task here at our farm that others just either were not interested in tackling or priced themselves so high that the outcome would be the same. It is hard to explain how huge our job was, removal of 2 large, dead trees close to a house (the easy part) and then hundreds and hundreds of feet of overgrown fence row stretching along 2 sides of a large property. Trees, brush, brambles, and assorted other overgrowth in an area hard to access and work in all the while protecting our 6-wire fence. Their quote was very fair, very accurate in terms of the scope of work and time to complete the job. They started 2 days after we agreed on the job. Others were telling us weeks or months out. Finished on-point and on-time to our complete satisfaction. Highly recommend Jerimiah and his team and will use them again in a heartbeat! Still cant believe they took on this job and we are very thankful for their hard and excellent work!

We contacted Axe Tree Pros after having poor results with other local tree services, no return calls, no follow up with estimates, etc. We originally wanted 7 trees removed and 15 stumps ground away. Jeremiah returned my call within a few hours and was very responsive and down to earth. He answered all my questions and provided me information to consider when removing trees, stumps and general landscaping tips. Within a few days, he surveyed my property, provided a very reasonable estimate and scheduled the service to commence within a week, weather permitting. This is the second time we hired Axe Tree Pro. The first time he trimmed the trees on our property and they looked wonderful. Jason not only trimmed them, he shaped them as well. Amazing! This time we had a number of trees that were damaged and one HUGE Ash that was dying. It was so big it took three people holding hands to reach around the trunk. Jason and his team did a great job cutting the trees in the front, back, and side yards; grinding the stumps; adding soil and seed to the resulting bare spots; and trimming/shaping other select trees. When he left everything was cleaned up,and hauled away. The next time we need work done we won t hesitate to call Axe Tree Pro. Jason and his team are the best!

We had a lovely Bradford Pear. Some large branches fell on our front yard. We called 3 businesses. I called these folks and the owner answered the phone. The others didnt even call back that day. He came out and advised us to have the whole tree taken down, and showed us the problems with the tree. At that point it was more danger to a neighbor than to us. A crew came out the very next day and took care of everything for us. This is the company to use, without a doubt.
