Have been using Royal Greens for several years. Service is reliable and friendly. Staff quickly responds to questions and turf issues that may arise. Recently the county did some excavation on our property. Jeff asked if he should proceed over the impacted area that was just planted. I appreciated that. He carefully applied the treatment without disturbing the new planting.

Jeff came out and did my yard. I was leaving for the gym as he pulled up. By the time I parked at the gym 5 minutes later I was asked to rate his service. The grass didnt turn purple so I reckon he did a pretty good job. In all seriousness, Ive been a royal greens customer going for a few years now and they do great work.

I rarely leave reviews, but we are so pleased with the way our lawn looks after 1 season using Royal Greens, I had to leave 5 Stars! We used a different national company before- and they didn t address the weeds we had or the bald spots (and the Japanese Stillweed that came out of nowhere.). We were away for a few weeks and were pleasantly surprised to see how great our yard looked when we got home. We were also having a terrible ant problem this past summer. We had Orkin come out 2 or 3 times- still an issue. Royal Greens offered a service the ants were gone the next day. I think they took their time to find the nest. A few weeks later we found an occasional ant, called them. They came out without any hassle etc and the ants were gone for the rest of the summer! Cant say enough about their customer service and the results their services provide. Thanks!!

Royal Greens has been caring for my lawn for 25 years and that fact in itself says how pleased I am with their service. Today I happened to be home when Royal Greens was applying fertilizers on the lawn and a perimeter spray around the foundation to provide a barrier to prevent insects from entering my house. The technician, Keshav Khatta, took the time to explain the applications, and was very personable and professional. If you are looking for a reliable and professional lawn service, I suggest you give Royal Greens a try.

The local RG owner, Jesse, is very responsive to customers desires to discuss services needed and is happy to come to the house, walk the yard, answer questions and educate the client on the science of turf care. The clients understanding of what their products treat is important to setting the right expectations for the lawns results. Jesse doesnt try to oversell their services; he lets the client decide. The office manager Angie, is extremely customer friendly, responsive and pleasant to work with.

They help keep my lawn free of bugs! Helps me, my dogs, and my family who visit sometimes on weekends.

My Niece raves about this company and services they provide. I wish they offered services in Hagerstown. If Royal Greens ever expands their service area, I could use them.

Be aware of your next year service. They said at the beginning of the contract that they will notify you when your contract will expire because it automatically renew if you are not paying attention. They will come to your house and do the service and you will receive a bill and that is when you find out that your contract was expire. We reach out to see why we did not get notified and they said they sent notifications but the only thing we got was service appointment emails but of course they blame Covid for it. Lastly no changes to our grass were noticed during our contract!

Royal Greens is such a great lawn care company! I love that it s a local business and the owner is more than happy to speak with me personally. The girls in the office are so kind and helpful and the techs are thorough and great at what they do! I love that they put everything out in the open. Unlike what other reviewers are saying, I had no trouble understanding that everything automatically renews. It s literally written on everything they send out and leave behind. They make sure to send a letter and email you multiple times. Plus they offer day before notifications which are SOOOO useful due to my dogs running in and out all day. That brings me to another plus: dog friendly! These folks love dogs and having products that are family friendly made my decision easy when first signing on. Don t let sour reviews steer you away, because you ll be sad you did! This company is a great one and value customer satisfaction. When I had a small issue with a weed area that just wouldn t die, they answered my question extremely fast and even came out to spray for free! They were so nice about it, too! Very professional and great communication. They let you know a couple days in advance when theyre coming out, they show up on time, and deliver a great product. Highly recommend!

Poor Quality service ! Since using this company my grass degraded big time. I start having a lot of mushrooms in my lawn... we never had this problem before! None of my neighbors who are using diff service having this service. First year we start using them the price was right for what they offer, 2nd year the service price almost doubled, when other companies keep the prices the same for existing customers. Additionally the communication between me as owner and the company.... was poor when we asked for something to be done in certain way, it was never done according to our asked. For example, when we asked not to treat part of the yard where dogs go out.... it was always treated, even marked ! I would not recommend this outfit.

I am in my 2nd year of using Royal Greens for lawn maintenance. My lawn has never looked as good as it does now. Everyone is very friendly including the office personnel and technicians. They are nice about setting up Service dates and will work to suit your schedule and be on time. The main thing is that they do a good job by performing quality work on your lawn.

It feels like the level of service has dropped this year. I speculate that pre-paying was a mistake on my part because they seem less eager to come when there is not a bill to leave behind. (Several weeks late on two key applications this season)

I have a dog and she loves to be outside which means we are around bugs... a lot. I reached out to them for help and they came through! We have been a customer for over a year now and my dog and I are so happy that the bugs are not bothering us anymore. The technicians are very professional and the office staff is a joy to talk to!

Royal Greens has serviced my yard for several years. Initially I contacted them to rid the lawn of dandelions. I was not disappointed, the problem was remedied, and Royal Greens has continued throughout the years to provide competent, and reliable service.

Very unreliable company they have cancel twice on 2 differnt appointments they had with me. Thay wasted my time not once but twice there excuses was that there short on estimators. So that means that thay have no help to do any lawn work.

Ive been very pleased with Royal Greens. Their staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I started using them in 2020 to fertilize and put down weed control on my lawn. Im provided with information after each treatment explaining the work performed and care instructions. My wife and I also like the fact that that the treatments they put down are environmentally friendly. Royal Greens has made my life easier by taking care of what I feel is the more difficult part of lawn maintenance. I feel the service is well worth the money as my lawn is one of the best looking ones in the neighborhood.

Love the service from Royal Greens, and the grass looks excellent. I have a fairly steep back yard with a fence, and they take the time to spread lawn treatments by hand without using the normal riding machine. Their Tall Fescue seed blend handles the mid-Atlantic climate quite well, and their slit seeding process got the grass off to a great start three years ago.

I do not like doing this but they leave me no choice. My advice is not to use Royal Greens Inc. Lawn Service. We had been loyal customers for years. Our yard looked beautiful and my concern was for the clover and bees affecting my business (children allergic) more so than looks. Over the last year, I repeatedly asked for reapplications and asked why they could no longer control clover *did they change something? I was marketed additional products but never answered why they no longer could control the clover. I told them I was not paying when the tech was in and out of here in less than 5 minutes and my concerns not addressed. Apparently they no longer care. I am paying this invoice as I have been threatened with collections. Please share and warn your neighbors. What has become of customer service? The manager never addressed why they cannot get rid of the clover. I am also contacting The Better Business Bureau.

I have been with royal greens for at least two years for mosquito treatment.This year will probably be my last. The summer started and no treatment, after a month of no treatments, my wife called their office. She was told that we had been put on a per request basis. When she asked how this happened, they looked up my account, and it turns out my account was somehow confused with another account. These accounts didnt have the same account number or address. We made it clear we wanted and paid for monthly service. They have come out in july, of course after the fourth, and once in august. They gave up coming before labor day weekend, also they hadnt come for memorial day. They missed every summer holiday. Also, they will treat your lawn in the rain and tell you it will be alright, they have also treated my lawn on days when rain is imminent, as in already misting. They get two stars for treating my lawn a second time, when it rained the day after a storm. I thinl they give better treatment to those who take more than one service. I am going to look for a company that specializes in mosquito treatment.

Service has not been very good at all. My lawn has deteriorated in each of the 3 years Ive been working with them. Im a freak about my lawn. So Im quite sure its not due to any lack of care from me. Ive tried many times to get a manager to come out for a consult and cant seem to get that done. Im switching providers.

I called Royal Greens for lawn aeration and seeding. My service date had to be rescheduled due to rain. When I received a reschedule voicemail and my reminder call, fertilizer was mentioned. I indicated that I had never requested fertilizer and didnt care to have it applied to my lawn. I was assured it would be taken off of my invoice. I then received a call from Jim who was convinced that if I chose not to use fertilizer (which, by the way, costs more than a quarter of the price of aeration/seeding), I would be doomed to have a brown, dry lawn in the spring. He didnt seem to understand or care that if it *hadnt* rained the previous week, they would have completed a service and expected payment for a service that I had never authorized. Service was okay. They left a bag of seed to fill in spots for the future. That was nice. Moral of the story- double check the tasks they plan to do in your yard.

I had Royal Greens for many years. The have a good program, but in the last few years, their service has deteriorated. Early spring applications dont get done until mid-late April (should be done in March). Worst of all, I had seeding and aeration scheduled as part of my regular program. I had to call them three times and they finally came out on October 15. October 15 is the last day of the normal seeding window for our area. They were supposed to come on Tuesday and never showed up. I had to call again and they finally came on Thursday. The technician only did the front yard, skipped the entire backyard and billed me for both. I find that incredible. Called to complain and the owner said the technician would come out Friday to do the backyard. Never showed up. Called again and the technician finally came out on Monday. Of course, by that time, were outside of the normal seeding window and the seeding will probably do nothing. I think Royal Greens is a case of a decent program thats gotten too big and they can no longer service their customer base.

They also sent out a newsletter that was incredibly informative. They are organized and dependable. An all around class act. Would definitely recommend giving Royal Greens a try.
