Bill's Lawn Maintenance and Landscaping in Frankfort

10/26/24 Bills sent a member of management shortly after receiving my communication to evaluate the damage. They apologized, sent a separate crew to apply product and patch the yard. A new senior grass cutting crew was assigned. They have been doing a great job and the lawn has filled back in and looks great. Bills rectified the issue and delivered. The new crew was meticulous, like days of old. I look forward to receiving Bills proposal next year and hopefully the same crew is assigned to my lawn in 2025. Ill update the review in 2025. --------------- 5/11/24: Bills crew (under new ownership) performed a lawn service yesterday and it is terrible. They tore apart portions of my yard and it is evident that when a portion was torn up, they didnt care and rode over it and caused more damage. Their approach to cutting the yard was not adjusted. Mowers with no bags cut grass directly in mulched areas, grass left in the street, etc. I reached out by phone and email asking to speak with an owner and how they will resolve the damage. Other lawn service providers performed their service for their clients the same week in my subdivision and I dont see any damage. ---------------- Ive been a customer of Bills for approximately 18 years. I ve used most of their services. Lawn maintenance (cutting), landscaping, mulch, tree trimming, etc. Bills has always responded to my request in a timely manner. Karen is great, a joy to speak to! Ryan (landscaping) is also great. They have taken care of me in a timely fashion from storm damage (trees). The lawn care service was stellar and reasonably priced. Recently Ive had to call(s) Bills and express my dissatisfaction with quality of the lawn crews. They damaged some lawn areas and the work was sub-par. The positive is that Bills came out, repaired everything and made sure the crews quality of work has improved.

I didnt catch the name of the guy who came out this week and last week, but he was here before a couple of years ago to remove a bunch of elderberry bushes. I was able to make out Sergey written in Cyrillic on the front of his zero-turn. Despite our language barriers, he was super polite and determined. He got 65-70% of the dense overgrowth in my yard from the previous owners cleaned up the first day, by himself! I am still in shock. Anyway please please accept my praise of him and please pass on the praise and huge thanks to him.

Never showed up with sketches and no call to say they weren t coming . Basically lied , do not deal with them they are not a honest company and unreliable. Found a good company to deal with .. Save yourself money , time and aggravation find another company .

We had Bills provide mulching for our site. Not only did they have the best pricing the grounds look better than they ever did before. Thanks for the hard work and attention to detail.

Last year, I undertook a significant garden project that involved planting trees and bushes, all backed by a one-year guarantee. Unfortunately, this spring, one of the trees began to show signs of dying. I reached out to the company multiple times to explain the situation. Yesterday, they installed a new tree to replace the ailing one. Im grateful for their dedicated customer service team, who worked diligently to resolve the issue promptly. Thank you for your commitment to customer satisfaction!

Thought Id write a short review on Bills for the reason it may happen to you. I was in need of a lawn service after my current one ran out of employees to service my properties. I called Bills as i have used them previously. When I met the new owner I explained the problem to him and he was very understanding.....until I received the quote to do the work. It was 3 times the amount I was paying previously. I asked why the large increase.....he told me you need my services now and this is what the price will be. Thats fine but I didnt think paying a premium of 3 times ($26,000) for his service was appropriate, he could have said I cant fit you in this year but lets see what can be done next year. As I said I have used them in the past with OK service. I believe with his cheap rates is the type of service you get. I would steer away from Bills as there are many other companies out there that will service you better.....both price wise and service.

Have them for a lawn service, and they have attention to detail which is hard to find

Had Bills Landscaping out last week and worked with Max. The work performed was mulch and cut edge and they did a wonderful job. Impressed with the follow-up and cleanup after they performed the work. Max was super helpful and determined to deliver excellent service. Thanks all!

I have used Bills on several occasions and have always been very satisfied. Not only is their work fantastic, but everyone I have delt with from Bills is professional and easy to work with. they take the tie to understand what you want and then deliver results!

We needed to have a lot of work done in our front and back yard. I contacted Bill s after reading so many positive reviews, and I m so glad I did! Karen in the office has been extremely helpful and no matter how many times I ve called, or how many questions I ve asked, she has been extremely professional and friendly. Mauricco has been amazing as well! He has gone above and beyond for us and we truly appreciate it! He gets back to us immediately and always follows through with questions or concerns we have. He is very friendly and professional as well. He makes us feel as if we re his only customer never rushes us and listens to our concerns and needs. Thank you to all of you for making our yard look so great! As I said earlier so glad I found Bill s!!! I highly recommend them!!!

We had Bills install a rock border around our pond. They did an outstanding job! It was completed ahead of schedule and looks fantastic! They didnt even leave a mark on the grass after hauling in all the rock. I highly recommend Bills if you need a job like this done.

We ve been customers of Bill s over the years and have always been very happy with their service. They came out today to trim our unruly bushes and they did a fantastic job! They did exactly what my husband requested. They took their time and didn t rush. We will definitely have them back in the fall. 5 stars!

We had rocks removed from our yard. The receptionist at the office was pleasant and helpful. The workers completed the work were fantastic. I would recommend Bills to anyone needing landscaping work. Quick response and fair amount charged for service.

They have performed 2 different services for me and did an excellent job on both; hedge clean up and burying drain hoses. They went the extra mile both times by performing extra clean up. Excellent customer service!

They came to cut my neighbors lawn and all the leafs fallen from the tree pushed into my backyard. When i went to talk to ppl they kept arguing and finally agreed to clean up and ran away in 5 mins. I called the owner and he said he will call them and fix the issue and never heard back. Such a shame

I am more than amazed with the job they did on our hedge. We had 18 bushes to trim down. They worked so fast. What would take us two days to do they did it in less than 2 hours. They were very nice too. I would hire this company again in a heartbeat. Price was fair too!

Had Bill s come out to the house to help with some trimming and bush removal. Max was great and scheduled me for the end of July, but we had a graduation party to host on the 16th. Karen (who answers the phones) worked hard to move that date up so the work got done well before our party date. We had a great experience all around.

Bills landscape has done a great job removing our lawn web sod worm issue and they took care of crabgrass! the young man that came out , was very professional, friendly and kindly answered my questions. Will be requesting him next time we call Bills! They were pretty busy at the time we needed them but they did get us in and taken care of which we greatly appreciate! Our lawn is looking real green again!

Had a 60 foot tree fall in the recent storm. Called for an estimate. We re on site within the hour. 24 hours later the job was complete. The tree fell on an area that contained a few immature trees that we hoped to save. The extraction was done carefully, and without further damage to the young trees. A job well done. Thanks

Ernesto, Oscar, and Arturo are very hard workers. So pleased with the work that was done at my house. They did a great job with cutting all the trees and bushes. They also did an amazing clean up job. I will definitely recommend them .

Bill s Lawn Maintenance does it all. The office staff, Karen and Monica, are friendly and helpful, from scheduling to billing they are great. Our weekly maintenance is done cheerfully, precisely and with pride. The special projects group is amazing. The quoting process, beautifully done by Cory, gave me the opportunity to express what I wanted and she offered suggestions to improve my plan. The staff and crew that execute the plan (drainage issues, removals and planting) are a joy to watch. Their work is impeccable and the people are kind, helpful and strive for perfection. Our hats are off to Jimmy and his group.

Highly recommend Bills Lawn. We have used them for lawn services the past year and they have done a great job. We recently had to have multiple large trees removed and they had it complete in a couple of days and it looks great. They have great customer service and are quick to respond.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Work quality was excellent, the guys were on-time and professional. Best part was the supervisor came by a few days later to ask if I was happy with the work and we walked walked the entire property to inspect their work. Definitely will use them again for future project work.

On August 2, 2021 Max, the owner of Bill s Lawn Maintenance, came out to my home to view my property survey to determine if there is enough room between my home and my neighbor s home for his mowers to cut efficiently. After viewing the survey and inspecting my lawn he agreed with me that there is in fact enough room on my property to mow efficiently. Max took the time to do what was best for his customer. I so appreciate what he did today! I wish him much success in his business. All of his staff are professional and courteous at all times. Thank you!

We hired Bills Lawn Maintenance to do landscaping work on our building. All I can say is that they did beautiful work. They exceeded my expectations. I would definitely say that if you need any landscaping done, CALL THEM!

Ihave used Bills Lawn maintenance for over 15 years and when I call their office and speak to Karen she is very efficient and friendly and quickly organizez a maintenance crew to work on my landscaping . Weve had nothing but excellent service from Bills Lawn Maintenance. Theyve always done a great job on our lawn. We just had them remove a tree from our backyard. The total job took 2 hours and they cleaned up immaculately. I will always hire them!

They do not hold themselves accountable for damages caused. I m sure their lawn care & landscaping is beautiful but good luck if they damage anything.

Highly positive experience throughout entire process. Received a timely response initially when I called, followed by prompt inspection of work needed and scheduling, very neat and courteous effort by Bills crew, and follow-up call the next morning.

Was out of town working, so I called Bills Lawn Care. Paid extra to have mowed and trimmed. Bills Lawn Care came out and didnt trim the side of the house, around the AC unit or behind the Shed. I emailed the address on their website, no return contact. Why bother contacting a customer once you have their credit card and full payment. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. they take your money and do half the work, wont call you back after you reach out to them.
