Jake's crew did an amazing job removing old grass, rocks, and plants. The new grass looks amazing and the directions to maintain our new grass were very clear. We appreciated that Jake came by the next day to check and make sure things were going smoothly. He also set up our existing sprinkler system to water the new lawn. We were one of Jake & Gigi's first clients about 15 years ago and continue to use their business for all of our landscaping needs. Thanks to Jake, Gigi, and their crew!
Right from the first contact with Jake I knew I was going to be happy with J & G .... and I was right. Jake understood my backyard needs and offered super helpful suggestions. They say their goal is always to provide quality work and leave our clients satisfied is baloney. Just because youre bigger, unfortunately doesnt equate to better. 2 stars just because at one point they used to do good work and treat people with respect. EDIT: The review system does not allow for back and forth. And it shouldnt. These issues needed to be resolved prior to the negative-ish review hitting the interwebs.Youve got enough good reviews to carry you through, if it actually mattered to Jake, I wouldnt be here bummed out at my experience.

Wow is all I can say! Jake and his wife came out on a Saturday to see what we needed done. His crew did it all! Mowed, weeded everywhere, spruced up our redwood tree, cut back our hedge, hauled away everything, and got our planter boxes all ready for Spring.Even our eye sore area was taken care of. They didnt miss a thing!
Jake and the folks at J&G are great. They called me this year to remind me it was tree-trimming time. Sometimes I forget and then it gets too late in the season. Not this year. The trees look great thanks to them.

To my delight they also trim trees and also do up keep for landscaping . So I happily reached out to them for my spring cleaning. I recieved a prompt reply.

I gave them a really rough sketch of what I wanted my backyard to look like, and they exceeded my expectations. My yard turned out beautiful. Their crew were all very hard working and very nice people. The workmanship was exceptional. J&G Lawn & Garden does a great job. Recommended!
I reached out for a quote and Jake came out to check out our very small townhome backyard while I was at work, looking through our fence. A couple days later I got a call from Steve at the office. He said that Jake s price to do our maybe 30x40 ft or smaller backyard would be $800!!! I was so shocked I asked Steve was he sure that there wasn t a mistake. He said no. I proceeded to say that price was insane and hung up. I told my fiancé and he called back and was told the same thing. I asked for a one time mow, weed whack and haul for our TINY yard. Steve said he would have Jake call us back, that there must be a misunderstanding. It s been 4 days now and no call. If he didn t want to take such a small job, he should have said so instead of quoting an outrageous price to discourage us. Either that or he was trying to scam a woman who he thought lived on her own. Any reputable company would have called to remedy this confusion and make it right. Future customers beware...

J&G has been taking care of our extensive gardens for over 7 years. They are absolutely the best! Kevin and Tim, two of their gardeners, are just the nicest, most courteous, young men. Today they came to do our usual mowing and lawn care, etc; and went way above and beyond to clean something extra for me that was driving me nuts. Prices are reasonable, their service is always perfect, AND every one of their employees is exemplary.
