I ve used several National services over the years with generally good functional results (ie grass is green and nice) the HUGE difference I see with WeedMan and the reason I went with them is their customer service when they text I can text them back, they go out of their way to communicate via local staff and leaders to accommodate my schedule as we have locked gates they need to enter. They don t force me into an autopsy situation where they get paid even though they never finished the job like the BIG National companies would do AND when I need to speak to someone they actually are accessible and return calls as opposed to my frustrations with the BiIG guys the functional service is good and the customer service is great!

Fabulous job! Everyone I ve met has been super knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend weed man lawn care to anyone interested in a better looking lawn Edit: I was previously a very satisfied customer and rated 5 stars. However my latest experience has been very dismal. Please see timeline On 3/25/2024 Preventative Grub Insect and Weed Control was performed on my lawn as well as Core Aeration service. Upon completion of the aeration I received a phone call from the technician stating that the aerator became stuck in the ground and messed up the side of the yard quite a bit.I let him know that it was ok and that the yard can be patched back up, not knowing at the time that a sprinkler line was busted by the aerator. I noticed the yard leaking water several weeks later and figured I would let the technician know the next time they were out. The next service was performed on 4/24/2024 at which time I notified the technician of the busted line. His response was that he would let his boss know and have someone get back with me. I did not receive a phone call or a follow up regarding the issue. I was patient and waited for the next service which took place on 5/17/2024 at which time I notified that technician that the line was busted and he also stated that he would let his boss know. I did not receive a follow up call. I received a phone call on 5/30/2024 from a weedman sales agent attempting to sale mosquito protection. I advised that I still haven not received a call back about my busted line. I was told that someone would get back to me soon. I finally received a phone call back on 6/18/2024 and spoke to Kim who stated that she will have a technician come look at the damage. On 6/25/2024 | received a voicemail from a technician named Charles who stated that he is not even going to come out because he received the notes and noticed the aeration took place on 3/25 and unfortunately too much time has passed. After I explained the time frame he stated that it makes sense and that he will come take a look at it the next day. Charles did come out 2 days later and agreed that the damage to the sprinkler line was caused by the aerator, but stated that he will have to come back to fix the line. No repair has been done and I am being told it will not happen at all.

The technician remembered that I needed to have the railroad ties in my backyard sprayed for weeds as well as the shrub beds. I do appreciate his care and diligence.

The service has been great and employees have been respectful and timely. The only issue I have had is no expected timeframe for services more than a couple of days before the service.

Weedman has been our provider since we bought our new construction home and they have done amazing work over just the first season. They recovered our whole lawn into a healthy state and have continued to provide great service since day one. They provide timely communication and reasonable prices for all of their services.

The end result is fantastic. We have neighbors asking who does our lawn because the front has zero weeds. We often still battle with weeds in the back that they have to come back out to treat frequently, but the team is nice and always comes out to re treat as necessary.

I believe this is my sixth year as a customer and overall I ve been pleased with the service, with the exception of a costly incident that occurred from the lawn aeration I purchased several years ago. My underground sprinkler system was damaged and it cost me hundreds of dollars to have it repaired. I made the company aware of the damage as soon as it was identified. Based on that experience, I decided to stay away from the aeration service and only subscribe to other available services, because, after all, I d had no other issues. This week I received a call from one of their salesman trying to get me to purchase the aeration service again. I declined and explained my reasoning based on my past experience. He reviewed the notes in his system and confirmed reading the details of the sprinkler system damage. Now, this is where things went south. He went on to insinuate that maybe my sprinkler system had not been professionally installed, which would explain why it was damaged during the aeration. I had to gather my thoughts before responding because I found his comment to be insensitive and disrespectful. I think he could sense that I was not pleased with his remark. Then, to add insult to injury, he continues to try and persuade me to purchase the service followed up with offering a $20 friends and family discount. [Sir, it cost me many times more than $20 to repair the issue caused the first time, so why would I subject myself to experiencing the same issue again? What am I missing?] He then proceeded to say the company has over $1 million dollars of insurance to cover damages. Now, at this point I m furious! Why wasn t the insurance offered to cover the damages to my system when I promptly reported it? To get him off the phone, I hurriedly informed him that I needed to speak with my husband before deciding on purchasing the service and I d get back to him at a later date. This review is not to bash the company. As I mentioned earlier, I ve had one unfortunate incident but I moved past it because overall I ve been pleased with the other services. The call from the salesman just reopened a wound and it stung. I d be more than willing to try the aeration service again if there were a guarantee that I wouldn t have a repeat of the first incident but I don t think that assurance can be provided.

I really liked the service I received from Austin! He was very thorough and polite. A detailed explanation was given regarding treatment of my lawn. I had several questions regarding the care of my lawn and he was very patient with me and answered every one to my satisfaction. Unlike other companies I have used who treated me like I was one of their cattle herding me along. I would definitely recommend Weed Man Lawn Care, especially if Austin is example of its workers!

Since the company changed hands in 2021-2022, all things good went south. Not the same company and here are some examples. 1. We have large, trained, protection dogs... our direction to the previous service person was to never attempt to enter the yard without contacting us first, it would go bad quickly. He was great, he would call or knock, we would secure the dogs inside and greet him and open gate. New person disregarded this and got very lucky... very lucky. 2. We had a retaining wall built, which would destroy most of the yard until it was re-sodded and completely cleaned up. There was nothing to treat. So, I contacted the new Weed Man company and informed them of the situation. I began to receive endless calls regarding getting my business back. I would explain the same situation over and over to them THERE IS NO YARD... I DID NOT TERMINATE SERVICE, JUST DELAY FOR A FEW MONTHS.... and more calls would come out etc etc etc etc. 3. Wall was built, I called to restart the service. Our yard was now much larger, more sq/ft of grass would be treated. I TOLD THEM that the yard was extended and they would want to re-measure. They used Google Maps, looked at the wrong addres and told me the yard was smaller so the amount was less. I TOLD THEM GOOGLE MAPS WAS NOT CORRECT, that my address placed them over a block away at a different home, with a smaller house. MADE NO DIFFERENCE, THEY KEPT CALLING. 4. I finally had it, told them to kill the service, I was sick of the ridiculous new management. So naturally they continued to call constantly, WHAT WOULD IT TAKE TO REGAIN YOUR BUSINESS. 5. Now, 2 years later, I still get e-mails regarding their service . THEY JUST DONT GET IT. IF I GET ANOTHER E-MAIL I WILL CONTACT THE BBB, FTC AND ATTORNEY GENERAL. I have attempted to kill the service, but they are so messed up that they are inept and deleting your information in their system. USE ANYONE ELSE, do it yourself, just dont call this company.

Update - 4/17/2023 I wanted to provide an update on this review. A day after this review was posted, Joe, a sales manager with Weed Man, reached out to me. I believe he handled the situation with the utmost respect, professionalism, and tact. That said, I decided to give Weed Man my business. The service was performed at the time promised, and I am very satisfied. After this experience, I would recommend this company - Joe, you are a great asset to Weed Man. So frustrating to deal with. I needed my lawn aerated; I called on 3/1/2023 and they were quick to sell me the service but did not give me an actual date on when they would come and perform the service. On 3/31/2023 (Friday), I received a text message stating they would be performing the aeration on 4/3/2023 (Monday); however, they had the incorrect address. I called to update this information; they updated it, but could not confirm if the price would be the same. I was told that the person who sold the service would be notified and call me the same day to verify the price. I did not receive a call. Based on this, I assumed (I shouldnt have) that until the price for the correct address was given and agreed upon, the service would be completed. Monday morning, a crew shows up to aerate my lawn. I promptly told them that I did not authorize the service. They were very courteous and understanding. Fast forward to Tuesday, 4/11/2023. I called again, letting them know what happened. The first person I spoke with heard me out but then transferred me to her supervisor, a person named Jake. She advised me to explain what happened so he can remedy the situation. As soon as I speak, he interrupts me mid-sentence and tells me he needs to transfer me since hes in the sales department. After that, I just hung up. My take from this experience is that this company is not too concerned about the service side of their business, only the sales side. Besides Jake (who was just plain rude), everyone was relatively courteous, but no one cared about making things right. Do better, Weed Man.

The one responding to my Review is denying it to save their face, I have all email trails and text message for services scheduled which I denied later when misbehaved by your staff, so dont challenge my review.

After spending hundreds on fertilizers and weed killers trying to green up and kill weeds myself on my new construction home I gave Weed Man a try. Finally have a healthy weed free lawn. It did take some time to combat this issue but Weed Man Won in just one season! Don t forget lawn aeration, grub treatment and lawn bug application. We have Weed Man come and do this also with great results!

I paid over $300 for a yearly fire ant application. Was promised it would last a year and if not they would come out and do a touch up. 3 months later my toddler covered in fire ants. I called my local Weedman office and they wanted to charge me full price for a new treatment or I had to sign up for a monthly service again. Highly disappointed with the value I thought I was receiving, unfortunately will not be a return customer.

No complaints so far with Weed Man. I ve only had two treatments but their communication and professionalism is on point.

Today, I canceled my account with them. Its sad to leave a company that I have been a customer of for such a long time. But their customer service is too stressful to keep my account with them.

Weedman is greatness

First Off I have never used this business, nor have I used any lawn care business... So with that said... I am not sure how they got my number... but they are as bad a telemarketers and People calling you about an extended warranty... They call me constantly badgering me about using their services... Since they go this extreme to get business.... I will personally say I will not use them if and when I ever need lawn care services..

I have used Weedman for about 10 years. They apply 8-10 treatments though out the year. I pay annually, so I get a discount. It took the first year before I saw a reduction in weeds and a healthier lawn, and well worth It. The few times I ve had a weed patch pop up, I ll call them and they ll either come spot treat it or take care of it on their next visit. I ve never had bad customer service, technicians always polite and everyone always wants to be helpful. Oh, in Feb and March, when weeds start popping up in yards when temps rise and more sunshine, my yard and others on the street that use Weedman, are the only yards with no weeds. I highly recommend the annual plan (8? Treatments) but give it a year or so to see results.

We have used Weed Man from Benbrook for about three years now and have seen definite improvement in our lawn. As I work from home, I see when they arrive and leave. They are always careful to check that my dogs are not out before they start and when I have asked about certain areas of the lawn I am concerned about, they go over what they are doing and what they plan to do to address those areas. The technicians have also promised to come back and re-treat if necessary. They do try to upsell a lot, grub control, aeration etc, which are usually pretty expensive and I often opt to do those myself to save money, though we have hired them do both services once. That is the only reason I am providing a four-star review. I have never dealt with anyone in their office, and am therefore unable to comment on the poor reviews Ive read about their customer service. My neighbor asked if we were happy with their service after seeing bad reviews on other sites and I shared the same information. Hopefully the company will work harder to address those reviews as the actual lawn service is effective for us. And for the guy who thinks people are paid to give good reviews . . . not so with this one.

We have used Weed Man in Fort Worth, TX. We had a minor issue and they were quick to come and resolve--i.e., they came to our house the next morning! Very professional and kind technicians. I would definitely recommend!

When I began using Weedman I did not have dandelions because I ve always used a service to treat. I have left many phone messages for the manager to call me regarding the poor results I have received from their treatments. He has never returned any of my phone calls. After many of the lawn treatments I have called to inform the office personnel that I have weeds and that they are getting worse after each treatment. As the season progressed, I had more after each time the yard was treated. By fall, they were the largest, healthiest dandelions I ve seen. I do not recommend this business and warn that it is a waste of money. I am still receiving a bill from them for the last treatment which did not work and was not retreated after my calls. The very least that could be done would be to zero out the balance of my last treatment and end the service. I paid for many treatments that did not work. I wonder if they were even treating my lawn the whole time.

Tried to set up their service at my new home. Got a phone call shortly after I thought everything was confirmed and the rep was very rude after confusion on their end on who I was and my property address. To top it off no one ever showed up to do any work!

Weed Man has done a great job on our lawn and their prices are reasonable. My wife is great in the yard but we dont have the time to do everything we want. This company does a great job. Our lawns are looking great. Highly recommend this company.

I experienced the absolute worst service ever! I signed on with their service initially but later canceled due to them never showing up. I called week after week was told they were coming but they never came, nor did they call to reschedule. They later called me and ask if I would consider giving them a second chance. They explained that they were backed up due to weather and they were working on changing things within the company. I also explained to them clearly that I had tree saplings in the yard and that I was hesitant to sign up because I was going to have all the sod removed and new sod installed in order to remove the tree saplings. I had just moved into this house and I didnt want to spend any unnecessary money if I didnt have to. It would only defeat the purpose to pay for treatments if I needed to get new sod installed. The sales person on the phone assured me that the solution they used was very strong and that it would kill the saplings. I took his word for it being that he was supposedly the expert and had experience. I agreed to give them a second chance. I asked if I would still receive the introductory price of $24.99 for the first month, in which I was told when I first signed up. They told me they couldnt honor that but would give me a free treatment later towards the Spring. Once I arrived home there was a note on my door stating that they advise me to just keep the lawn mowed low and that was the only solution. I immediately called them and told them that they mislead me and told me something different. I canceled service and later received a bill in the mail saying that they did two treatments in one day. (After reviewing my camera it didnt seem like they did much of anything). I only was told there would be one treatment and I only authorized one treatment. I called and explained this to them and they told me that they just went ahead and did one because it was good to get the second one in before the end of the year. I received calls about my bill and I explained that I did not give permission for anyone to do two treatments. I spoke with several reps and they also said they understood and that things should not have happened that way. I was always told that they would figure it out and get back with me. They never did. I dont mind paying for what I owe, but I dont think it is right to pay for something I didnt approve of. I later receive a call from a rep in customer service/billing from KIm. Kim was very rude and unprofessional. You would have thought she was calling to collect money from a criminal from a bail bond she paid. her tone and professionalism was awful. I asked to speak with her manager and she placed me on the phone with Jennifer (who sounds just Melisa B.). Jennifer was just as rude and I see why Kim was so happy to put Jennifer on the phone. Jennifer was just as rude as Kim. They were a true reflection of each other. A true business definitely starts from the head. Then they went on to no listen and debate back and forth with me and disregard everything I tried to explain. If this is how they go by collecting money, it is a disgrace. They also went as far as to throw their sales team under the bus and say that the sales rep dont know what they are talking about or dont have any say. This company does not communicate to each other well. I called and spoke with Melissa B and asked if someone could please listen to the conversation I just had with the billing reps.I wanted someone to hear how rude they were. She then told me that the boss is right across from them in the same room and can hear when they are on the phone calls. This really stunned me that the boss would approve of such manner. No need to reach out to customer service if they are all alike! Just RUDE! I will never use this service and I advise others to be aware. The customer service is awful!! I paid my bill but it was definitely money WASTED!

I will not recommend The Weed man (head office is located in Argyle) to anyone. If you are currently using them, I recommend you have you camera on all the time. Whatever they are spreading on your lawn contains Weed. You will find your lawn actually got worse with weed once you start their services. Also they cheat customers because when they to spread whatever they have come to spread on your lawn (fertilizes, weed control, etc.) they WILL NOT spread on all the required areas but only one part of the lawn). The staff will only spend 3 minutes at your house and then spend rest 9 minutes writing so they can leave receipt at your front door. I caught them on camera that they did not perform the service they were supposed to have and so also a friend in Coppell, Texas. They also have the worst experiential customer service. If you complain, they dont offer solutions. They messed up my lawn summer 2018 (my grass got burnt by whatever summer application they did) and I have to replant new ones. The staff that come out to your house do not do what they are supposed to do, This is the worst company and am surprised I stayed for 3 years . Those that gave 5 stars must be new customers or were paid to give 5 stars rating.
