I ve lived here 11 years and always felt ashamed of my lawn compared to my neighbors no matter what services or who I tried. This year is my second year with Crown and Blade and my lawn has never looked better! They performed a miracle, in my opinion, and they have my loyalty!

I am thankful that Crown and Blade offered advice free of charge for care of new grass that I planted in my yard. I have found new grass germinating! Thank-you!!!

It s unfortunate because there are so many good reviews here, but I ve been trying to to get ahold of these guys for weeks via email and voicemails. No response whatsoever. Had to switch companies because I don t want to beg someone to take my money. Paid $1500 for an escalated lawn treatment last fall for like a 4 month treatment program. Think the least they could do is be man enough to tell me they don t want my business. I even had to call THEM to finish paying for last years treatments as I put half down. They were more than willing to take that call.

Awesome Job. Our lawn looks like the rough on a golf course! Of course, we did water it, and we this service for weed control. My husband is very picky. He says its the best lawn weve ever had. We started from scratch, did haul in good dirt, and they seeded it.

We began using Crown and Blade last summer as weeds were taking over our yard. Just one year later our yard has transformed into a much healthier grass with barely any weeds. Will is great to communicate with and very responsive to questions. After a dry spell left part of our yard damaged, he worked with us to know how to reseed and recommended the right kind of aeration in the Fall. We switched from TruGreen to Crown and Blade this year and our lawn has never looked better. Will consulted with us to coordinate over-seeding a large portion of the lawn without the application of pre-emergent or post-emergent weed killer; he only applied a starter fertilizer to that area. The results were amazing. The other areas of the lawn are now totally weed free and I m sure the over-seeded area will be next year. I wish their range of coverage would be larger so they could also do the lawn at our lake cottage.

Crown & Blade have been a great addition to our lawn. It was in horrible shape when they started in the fall of 2019 with 2 treatments. But come Spring you could already tell a difference. Highly recommend Crown and Blade! Always treat on time and take care to make sure everything is cleaned up and in perfect shape. The guys go out of the way to move anything in the yard to make sure nothing is damaged and that everything is covered.

In just two years, Crown and Blade has taken a horrible yard full of weeds and turned it back into a great patch of grass! They are always very prompt and courteous and very knowledgeable about their domain. Its not every day you come across a company in the service industry who has deep-rooted ethics and morals and hasnt traded service for profits. They do an excellent job of sticking to their values and delivering a great product. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone, but specifically, if youre working on a budget, they give you all the details upfront so you know exactly what youre working with for the year. They have excellent customer service and sales staff who dont try to needlessly upsell you to bigger and better packages that may not necessarily do a better job.

I have been using Crown and Blade for the better part of three years now. My lawn has never looked better. Mitch and his crew have the most current equipment available to them . They are in communication with you though out the year. I intend to keep using them for my fertilizing needs.

We moved into a 100-year-old home in an established neighborhood on the north side of Fort Wayne 2 1/2 years ago. The lawn at that time was a mess, with mixed grass varieties, weeds with sections prone to die out in the heat. To make matters worse, our front lawn is in full sun and our back yard is in full shade. Enter Crown and Blade, fast forward to today, and we have (in my opinion) about the best looking lawn in the neighborhood. Mitch has provided true expertise in all areas related to our lawn. At his suggestion, we replaced our front and side lawn with sun-loving seed and re-seeded our back lawn with shade-loving seed. Once the new seed was established, our lawn has been uniformly deep green, weed-free and healthy. Weve had Crown & Blade apply fertilizer and weed control applications regularly (relying on their expertise treatment by treatment), and Mitch is very responsive to any questions weve had along the way. On top of everything else, Crown & Blades pricing has been extremely reasonable. If you want a great looking lawn, youd have difficulty finding a better partner than Crown & Blade.

Crown and Blade SAVED our lawn last July. The neighbors to each side had beautiful lush green lawns and even though we had a lawn service our lawn looked sickly. It was not full or super green and when I talked to our existing service they just said it was drought and a new (year and half) lawn. I called several services and found Mitch. He was so knowledgeable and accommodating. He came out, diagnosed the problem and what I needed to do to improve our grass. By September we were keeping up with the neighbors! He called to check on things and again called to set up our service for this summer. I feel I get super friendly personal service. Thanks Mitch and Crown and Blade!

I hate to be that person, and I truly am not someone who complains about companies, as I try to always be understanding and give the benefit of the doubt, but I just cannot recommend Crown and Blade to anyone. I found their company this spring, and we signed up for treatments this year. Even though theyre decently more pricey than Spring Lawn or Tru Green, I went with them to support a local company. Things were great at first. Their treatments are good, I will happily give them that. Our weeds were finally under control, but after this fall I will not continue to utilize their services. If you dont know much about lawn treatment (I dont either, admittedly, but I can research online) they apply a slow release treatment, which is intended to be reapplied about every 4-6 weeks (confirmed by multiple sources online, some even say 6-8). We literally had three treatments within 5 weeks, at $65 each. Three treatments, on 9/18, 10/03, and 10/25. In 5 weeks. Treatments that are intended to be 4 weeks apart at minimum. After the second treatments on 10/03 (2 weeks after the last), my husband called, and we were given a refund for that treatment. So that part was cool and good customer service. The real issue I have is that when I called after the last treatment today to ask about another issue and brought up the timeframe between treatments, the owner assured me that it had not only been 5 weeks. He said something along the lines of Well if youve ever worked in customer service, you know the customer is always right, and then proceeded to tell me I was wrong. Even after reading him the dates (listed in front of me on their website - its not as though I was coming up random dates on the spot), he insisted that he would send us over a statement with the dates of treatment. So, was he going to change the dates to make it look better? He offered repeatedly, even after I clarified that I had that information in front of me already. I also have my suspicions that they were skipping out on my backyard (or just not doing the full thing), but I dont have any proof aside from our weeds absolutely not dying this fall in the back when theyre looking great in the front yard. Ultimately, being told by the owner that I am wrong and misinformed when Im using information directly from the companys website is enough for me to switch over to a new company. He admitted that he was out in the field and not at a computer, but why would he insist in the first place that they wouldnt do treatments that close together when he had no way to verify at that moment?

Mitch did a fabulous job on our yard. We had some fungus that our previous lawn service did not want to deal with so I contacted Mitch. He came out and got it taken care of within a few days. He did such a great job that I decided to have him do our regular lawn fertilization and our yard is a dark green after the FIRST application. I now realize what my lawn should have looked like the last several years! If you have a lawn service and it isnt Crown and Blade, then I suggest you at least give them a try!

We switched to Crown and Blade for our lawn fertilization in 2015. Our yard was noticeably thicker and greener after switching to Crown and Blade compared to the lawn fertilization services we have used in the past. We have received several compliments and queries from neighbors about how nice our lawn looks.

Crown and Blade does a fantastic job of keeping my lawn green and weed free. Ive been using them for several years and my lawn has been consistently healthy ever since. It was even able to push through the snow mold after the hard winter of 2014.

Mitch is very personable, professional and knowledgable. He walked me through the options without ever giving me a hard sell. He what he said within the time frame promised and then followed up to make sure I was satisfied. I mentioned everything was positive aside from a few problem spots where grass didnt want to cooperate. He let me know it would be handled when the weather is right, and Im confident he will keep his word. You might find someone cheaper, but you get what you pay for. If I were to start over there would be no hesitation to give them the job.
