DO NOT USE BORK FOR MOWING. We had Bork do some spring clean up trimming landscape, mulching, and edging at our home. They started off well and it was a good experience. After the spring cleanup is where it went down hill. They started to miss a mow here and there which we were okay with as it was hot and grass probably didn’t need it. A skipped weekly mowing here and there then turned into more consistently missing mowing leaving us to call on week 3. I called throughout the season and left voicemails and found most luck via email. Once we got some sort of communication they would usually show several days later. Now at the end of the season we are left in the same dilemma we have been dealing with all mowing season. On week 3 of no mowing we contacted Bork with no reply to voicemail, sent email, and then received a text back, “will check with foreman to see when he was planning on coming out”. I asked Bork if they could please update us when they were coming out. To which replied, “absolutely”. Now here we are no more communication at the end of the season with one last mow and still a no show going on 5 weeks. We now are going to have to find someone to mow the lawn one time for this season or I am going to end up borrowing a mower from a friend. If you can’t handle the work load don’t take on new customers. I know it’s tough to run a business but the lack of communication combined with leaving a customer no options at the end of a season is just rude. I have never wrote a customer review for any business besides positive experiences. The only reason I am writing this today is to hopefully prevent someone else from having to deal with what we have gone through with this companies mowing services. Hi Alan, Thanks for the prompt response. I have no way of getting ahold of you if I don’t get replies. We have called, text, and emailed with no response. Alan and his team did great work cleaning up our landscaping, pruning, and gutter cleaning. They were very reasonable with pricing, responsive to communication, and paid attention to details. Thanks Bork!

In a world where customer service seems to be a thing of the past, I can honestly say that Bork Landscaping shines above the rest of his competitors. For years I have consistently looked for a reliable, responsive, punctual, top notch landscaping company with fair prices and hard working employees. If possible, I would give these guys 10 stars! I can't recommend them enough. I will never go anywhere else.
Bork Landscaping is the only company you need to call! They are incredible in all areas and are able to handle any job! Alan, the owner called back in less that 30 minutes, came out in 2 days, and had the estimate to me that night!!! I was very surprised how reasonable the cost was for both houses. Alan was always in communication with me and went out of his way to accommodate all my changes in our original schedule. They helped me so much not only with landscaping, but also cut down trees, created a dog run for our new puppy, and power washed the house! The crew is very competent, hard working, and personable. Alan is very professional, extremely hard working, kind, caring and has integrity that you can trust! He will go above and beyond to ensure you are happy with their work! This crew is young,experienced,knowledgeable and hungry for work. They took several jobs on our property that other had either turned down, said couldn’t be done or were quoting us outlandish prices (likely because they didn’t want the hassle of the job). Bork Lanscaping LLC came in on budget, and had our yard looking fantastic in only 2 days. We hired them again for more work, based on our previous experience with them, and they did not disappoint. We just purchased a new home, and we’ll be having them out to give that property some care to get it up to our standards. You will be amazed at the professionalism,speed, price and payment options that they offer. Hire this crew!
I have had a lot of problems finding reliable snow removal. A friend recommended Bork Landscaping. Alan returned my call within minutes and has been on top of things without fail. He has done what he said he would do and at a fair price. Very happy.

We began the process with Bork in March. After a re-schedule he came out and surveyed our yard for landscaping. After waiting a week, I had to follow up to get a quote and keep following up. We finally got an amount quoted after three weeks but no other information or detail on what it included. We told them we wanted to use them. They kept blaming software issues and kept promising they would send something and after another month has gone by and several more emails they are unresponsive and never sent anything. We have been nothing but patient with them and even offered an out if they were too busy. But instead we have been strung along and missed out on other landscapers who are now booked up for the summer. As a result we will have no yard or landscaping. Ive never seen such a lack of integrity and follow through. Yes help is hard to find, but you dont just string people along and stop communication. When you are in business you rely on reputation and sadly I think theres will suffer greatly if they are treating other customers this way.

I had an appointment today at 3 pm. They were a no-show and zero communication. I called twice and no answer. Even left a voice mail. I know youre busy, but come on. Edit 8/16/21: Owner contacted me promptly after review and rescheduled for today.

I hired Bork to make my lot level for a specific purpose. They claimed they could make that happen and left it unfinished and took my money. Very unprofessional and crooked.

All I can say is thank you to Bork Landscaping. Was a little over my head had to many projects going they came in straightened out what I had already done and made it right. The pavers look great and to say Im very happy would be an understatement. Im ecstatic about it will be asking them to come back and do some landscaping around it next fall or spring. Responded to my initial contact quickly - I had an estimate in only a few days (vs weeks for others). Once they started work they were very thorough and the end result looks great. Very competitive cost. Will definitely use again!
Unfortunately, I am unable to actually rate Alans work as he never did any. Gave me a good estimate on my job, but then wouldnt follow-up. Kept saying he did want the job, but would not respond to calls. Finally, after dragging it out for 7 weeks I have to try and find someone else. I started the process in February, now I have to try and find an available landscaper in May. Very disappointing and unprofessional behavior by a professional.
These guys are fabulous! Came in and got the job done much sooner than I expected. Very professional and trustworthy. Price was competitive as well. Great Job!
This crew made it so easy for them to be the only landscapers I call for work, hands down period. I Called and a super chill dude named Alan picked up. He was friendly and was able to come out the next day to come get the job done. We have a basic front and back yard and they knocked it out in like 10 mins. I always look for convenience and customer service these guys have it all. -joe
