I have fought with weeds and mole crickets for years. Decided to give TruGreen a chance last spring and for the rest of 2023. By the December of 2023, my weeds were more than 50-60% less and my lawn was fuller. I also had them initially aerate my yard in the spring also. What I overlooked was not overseeing after the aeration as this would have thickened my yard even more which helps prevent weeds. I also had TruGreen take care of my ornamental and palm trees. Weed eradication and healthy grass is a process that will not happen over night. I am pleased with the results of 2023 that I renewed my plan with TruGreen for 2024. The added bonus is the additional free time I have because now I dont have to figure out what I need and how much and then drive it home then spend hours putting the fertilizers, weed control, bug control etc. down plus the cleanup. Well worth the service, treat yourself.

I used true green for 1 year. They killed my grass. My lawn is dead and my neighbors lawn is fine, same grass. Only difference is True Green services. I told them I did not want to renew and they scammed me into another 2 months. NEVER USE TRUE GREEN.!

We are very pleased with TruGreen. Our yard has never looked better. When we bought in 2021 we got a call from a telemarker. Our annual treatment program is affordable and they show-up like clockwork several times a year, work their magic, and leave us a print-out of the services they performed. Unless they jack the price up well renew next year.

They lied to me. I was worried about how much this will cost so I asked a lot of questions of how it worked. He seemed to not really know too much saying once the expert comes they will further educate me on my lawn. He said I wouldnt be charged no more that $40 for first service and any service after will be based upon my lawn. I agreed, once they came they were here for like 15 min. To me it seems like they didnt even do anything at all barely spilled some stuff on the lawn and left.i even asked the guys Im only getting charged for the basic service of $40 right? And he said correct.Once I checked my back account I saw I was charged $130! I canceled right away. they said they charged 40 for first service and 40 for weeds?. Guy on phone claimed it was all 40 dollars. Horrible company horrible service.

Prompt as scheduled, seemed a bit hurried applying the chemicals, but that may be part of a fast service. Almost a month later and I see a lot of weeds, new and old. Not happy about the pre-emergent treatment that is supposed to take care of weeds before they have a chance to start. Dont expect Green grass yet, but will keep an eye as weather warms up. Wish they come and spray against weeds again.

William Patch was courteous and knowledgeable and did a good job. Very happy with his work. I used TruGreen years ago but was very unhappy with their service. Didn t do what they said they were suppose to and coming on rainy days when rain was to happen. I will refuse to pay service on days like that. I wanted to give them another chance as long as I can get William to do my service.

Not a good experience with Tru Green. They have you agree to an initial upfront monthly cost & then proceed to never charge that agreed upon amount ever again. They add extra service & charge extra for it whenever they choose, never with advance notice either. They show up whenever they feel like it. Youll get a text letting you know when they arrive, usually when Im at work or working from home. Then they text you when theyre finished, usually less than 10 minutes later. My property isnt large but isnt small either, 75 x 115 (1/5 acre) so I dont expect it to take forever but judging by the number of weeds that remain in my lawn they could take a little more time & effort maybe. The biggest joke of all is the tree & shrub service which consists of a $35 monthly fee to have them spread what looks like Miracle Gro in the flower beds. My most recent Jan 2024 invoice for another 10 minute service appointment is double the normal monthly charge due to an extra chemical or winter nutrient they decided was necessary. Great, but did I get notified in advance to see if I wanted to spend twice as much this month... I think you know the answer. Also I emailed my concerns thru the company website asking to be contacted by management. That was Jan 11, 2024. I got an email response 4 days later saying local management would call me. Ive yet to receive that call.

I had a highly disappointing experience with TruGreen Lawn Care. Their services not only killed my grass but also allowed weeds to overrun my lawn, ultimately costing me $3500 to have it resodded. The customer service representatives were consistently rude, and it took over 3 months to address the issue of my neglected lawn aeration service. Additionally, TruGreen falsely reported conducting services on my lawn when, in reality, they had not. Overall, a frustrating and costly experience. I would avoid using their services at all cost and find a reputable local company that individualizes your lawn care based on your specific needs.

My lawn is serviced by another company and I was recently approached by a Trugreen salesman to aquire my business. I felt elation when he left and took his lies with him. When you have a superior service, it speaks volumes, when you do not, it is louder. I live in Holley By The Sea and the condition of the lawns shout. At any time, if you search for a lawn care business, do yourself a favor and avoid Trugreen.

If 0 was an option it would be my service was after prepaid we received 1 service and they kept rescheduling. We finally said enough is enough canceling this horrible service. Terrible company to work with. Would not recommend

We signed on to have Trugreen help revive our lawn. They treated one time and stated they would be back in 5 weeks. On the next treatment date, they did not arrive. I was told the guy got sick and couldn t complete his route and that he would be back next week. A week later and our yard still isn t treated. I called to speak to a local technician but was routed to a call center in the Caribbean. I asked to have a manager call me and no one did. All the while they are automatically deducting our account for the services they aren t providing. I do not recommend Trugreen. They are not a functioning company.

Just an FYI, active school zone speed limit is 29, not whatever you want for your drivers.

I received a estimate fromTruegreen for 1468.38 wich broke down to 122.37 a month.true green came out treated my yard and charged my card 2 separate charges one was 69.48 the other was 172.84. I called to find out why they did this the woman stated this was my pament. I explained to here I have a contract she told me there is nothing she could do the sales person quoted me wrong she cold save me 10percent and that was it. ( EVEN THOUGH I HAD A CONTRACT) . I canceled my services on the spot AVOID TRuegreen at all cost!!!

Inconsistent service in the field. Customer service didn t keep good notes. They will call and pester you to death with sales calls and also try to upgrade your service. But the moment you have issues with their field tech guys they aren t there to back it up. Good service in 2019. And DOWNHILL ever since. Save your money.

Trugreen sales person. Said the treatment would kill sticker weeds/sandspurs. I made it clear that this was the only issue I cared about as far as the lawn goes. That and that it was safe for my animals. They also told me the treament was safe enough for dogs that they could be dipped in it. When the providers actually got here they said that if dogs chewed the grass it would make them sick and that the treatment would NOT kill sandspurs. I am glad the in person providers were honest. But the dishonesty the sales person showed to just try and make a sale is why I am giving them 1 star.

They came once never showed up again

True green canceled on me multiple weeks in a row due to equipment issues. They have the worst customer service I ve ever dealt with not the mention my grass still looks horrible after spending 100 s of dollars with them. I wouldn t suggest this company to my worst enemy. Worst company ever

After my last service it rained for 10 days straight, which washed away most of the treatment. Company promptly came back a serviced again at no charge.

Had my fertilizer and weed control this morning. Then around 12 Patrick did my fire ant control. He was patient with my many questions. Patrick also did my nuisance control last week. Hope product is as great as his service and attitude. Both fantastic. Thank you.

Scheduled for today! Cancelled but I was NOT notified of this! Scheduled for tomorrow 12-5pm! I have said a hundred times, I want mornings only! Then at 5:30pm today, Akeem shows up! The. All center did not receive info that my service today was cancelled! I received text at 6:30am today saying application will be today 11-5:00 which I have specifically wanted TruGreen to put that in my file! The call center and my office near me are definitely not on same page! It s so frustrating not to be heard! MORNING APPOINTMENTS ONLY! I just don t know why that s a problem! Very frustrating for sure! The best for TruGreen is its driver Akeem! So friendly and instructs me as to what he will be doing and what I need to do! A great employee for TeuGreen to have! 8/8/23 - treatment done. could not kill weeds. He took a photo of weeds to identify, but did not find. Another person came out, couldnt identify but pulled a weed and took with him. Said he was going to talk to David West at Ft. Walton office about granular application for weeds. Otto called, said hed call again soon. It is now 9/2/2023 and still no call. I will not be renewing a contract with this company. Not one treatment has been what I want my lawn to be. I have always had a beautiful lawn by applying the granular myself.

Last time I used Trugreen, they really helped my lawn with weed control and fertilizer. All I had to do was buy the seed later once it was ready. They saved us lots of money by not having to buy new grass to lay in our yard.

The technician was knowledgeable and friendly. They worked diligently and appeared to cover the entire lawn methodically. Time will tell how effective the treatment is, but I would assume promising from todays service.

Today, I want to rave about my tech MCKEITHAN Mance. He has been an awesome young man for the two times He s been here. I had the pleasure of being greeted by him, the previous time He greeted my husband. Today He greeted me at my door and offered to answer any questions I had and offered watering tips to me. He needs to be given a service award not all techs are like Mckeithan Mance!!

The tracking feature still did not work for this service. The problem does not appear to be with the app. Noah did a good job with treating the weeds.

Trugreen is Not worth it , They will rip you off every chance they can get. I was supposed to be charged 77 dollars , instead they cahrged 150 dollars saying they did 2 services and they did Not This happens a lot !!! Watch what they charge you ! ! ! I Watch the service man on my security Video , he did Not do 2 services , he did Not spray any kind of liquid fertilizer on my property like the manager said they did when i canceled my account with them . Did not show up when scheduled. Did not reschedule. Could not contact Ft Walton Beach servicing center. Could only talk to a call center who had heavy accents and did not insure FWB contacted me. Gave FWB a week to respond. Cancelling my service today if I have not heard from anyone.

I switched to TruGreen a few months back because I was not happy with the company i was using. So far TruGreen is doing exactly what they said they would do get my yard looking great again. Worst company to do business with. Had a 1 year contract with them for weed control and at the end of the year I had more weeds than when I started. Called and complained several times during the year and always received the same lip service you see in response to the negative reviews. At the end of the contract, I clearly cancelled, and they continued to show up and bill me for the service (I had already contracted a different company). I of course refused to pay, and now I get 25 calls a day from debt collectors!!!! RUN FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

Absolutely hands down best example of why NOT to trust corporate companies. Out of half a year of service my yard has become a weed infested landscape I signed up for weed control ONLY. I could handle everything else on my own but after talking there tech in person. It doesnt matter what you sign up for they charge you a overhaul and spread pot ash over your yard if you want fertilizer with over priced rates thats all they got. I used to have Bermuda grass for many years, then I hired trugreen. Last name greene. Please dont try and respond with another Im sorry just reimburse me or replace my yard.

Don t use these guys. I hired them to kill my weeds and make yard healthy. They came out the first time to treat. Weeks later, nothing but new weeds and old. I called so they came to treat again. Same thing. Next scheduled treatment, same thing, weeds getting worse. I called and they came a 4th time to re-treat. Same. So I called lawn doctor to look at my yard as they did great for my neighbors yard. So I hired them and called 10 times trying to cancel the remaining treatments. Omg. What a nightmare to cancel. They wanted to keep telling me they didn t have an account for me so I couldn t get anywhere. Finally about the 10th call. Someone was helpful. Got with a manager and canceled. Refunded me about half my pay in full after the two scheduled appointments out of 10. I was glad to just be done with them. So today, lawn doctors came to spray my yard. Also, come trugeeen again 8 days after I canceled. So treated right on top of lawn doctors treatment. Hope it does not kill my grass. Stay away from trugreen.

Dishonest! Avoid this company. We had a salesman call us shortly after we signed up for service, attempting to sell us options that we had already declined. The salesman lied and stated that a tech had visited our property and observed several problematic pests and offered TruGreens very expensive pest control service. We were home all day and did not see the tech, nor did our cameras show a tech visiting our property. We have not, and do not have pests which is why we declined the service. The salesman tried to backpeddle when asked specifically who and at what time the tech visited our property... We do not do business with dishonest companies that use deceitful tactics to try to persuade a customer into purchasing unneeded and unwanted services.

Results with my lawn and shrubs were very poor. I used TruGreen for 12 months. Have photos before and after that demonstrate the significant degradation in health and appearance to both my lawn and shrubs. They will respond if you call with free recovery services, but they could not remedy my yard/shrub problems back to where they should be. I specifically paid extra for insect prevention, yet had root damage from cinch bugs/mole crickets twice in one year. Now have 4 large unsightly areas of lawn that looks distressed and will likely have to be resodded. Weeds in yard are also worse than Ive seen before. I have 12 flowering azaelas in one bed that now all look dead and will have to be replaced. They have looked great for the previous 10 years.

Terrible people, terrible drivers.

We recently have had services come by the house and dig holes in our yard without permission, at first we didn t know what was happening and then we received this door hanger saying they conducted an evaluation of our lawn to include soil compaction. Any company that allows their sales people to dig up someone s yard without permission essentially destroying private property and trespassing should not be in business. This is not acceptable professional behavior and will be reported accordingly, keep your sales people off the lawn and out of the soil when they do not have permission to dig into someone s yard.

This company made promises of services that they never intended on keeping! Any time you try to contact them it is always a 2 to 3 hour wait on the phone and forget about email, they never respond. Or call back!!! The technician that Services my lawn was supposed to show up one day he didnt even show up nor did he call weeks went by I finally called in and asked why he was not there nobody knew any answers but told me that I would get a return phone call from the tech. The tec never called back and I am still left hanging to dry without any service!!! I would go anywhere else but this company for your lawn care needs!

This company should be ashamed of themselves, 1.5 hour wait times on the phone took two months to get someone on the phone. When i did speak to someone the told me straight lies about how many applications / treatments i had and my yard is the absolute worst in the neighborhood. They charged me $445 for a year and only made 5 treatments to my grass or lack there of cause it s so ate up with chinch bugs and the fertilizer they laid down this spring put stripes in my yard like they walked around with the hose in a straight line and did not spray the lawn properly. Asked to speak to a supervisor to refund the rest of money and low an behold my contract has conveniently expired... we contracted them in sept of 20 it s now June of 21 4 months short of a years worth of applications that they only completed 5 treatments total on my yard. I will be writing to the better business bureau next so some other hard working American does not forfit their hard earned money to them. True green you should be ashamed of yourself and your lack of guest services!! I wish there was a zero star cause you don t even rate a one!! Terrible company !!!

They are not worthy of the 1 star, I m forced to give. I paid for plugs back in March, here it is 4 months later and I have yet to receive the service. They didn t hesitate to take my money from me in March! Absolutely horrible! I will never contact them again! Buyers don t waste your time, because they will surely waste yours and your money too!

Big company attitude, not in touch with its customers in our local Navarre, FL area. Different tech each time, not willing to talk to home owner about lawn condition concerns. Paid in advance for 1-year service, what a mistake! We had a sales rep, Mike, who sold us the service in Dec 20. He knocked on our door in Mar 21 soliciting for us to sign up for TruGreen service. We told him that he was here in Dec and sold us the service already. He insisted he was never at our house and was arguing with my wife. I pulled up his personal number on my phone to show him that he was in fact at this address before! What a joke!!!

We hired these folks for peace of mind that our lawn would be treated professionally. Our first treatment was on our neighbors yard and not ours. I had to flag them down as the second treatment was being applied to the neighbors. They have now treated our yard from March until September and the yard is still full of weeds. These folks apply the the same (one size fits all) regimen to your lawn just as everyone else on your same route. As if all yards are the same. There is NOTHING custom of special about how they treat your lawn! They dont slow long enough to look at what they are doing to determine if the impact has been positive or not. Do it yourself and youll save money and the stress.

Trugreen did a fine job up until September 10 2021. I called to suspend service because we are redoing our landscape. They came back out and I called on Sept 20 To have them stop all service until futher notice. They assured me that they would not return until called. Looked out my home office window to see yet another treatment going down. Oct 7 I confronted the tech and asked him to get his supervisor on the phone. He said his name is Dave from Fort Walton Fl. I am on hold as I have already contacted another (can do nothing to help) phone tech. You cant get through to district or Corporate TN office. At least not Yet but it is going to get real. What they are doing is against the law.

TruGreen HR dept, maybe its just OShields, sure dropped the ball.

Paid a year in advance asked to have my soil sampled due to dead areas..6 months later and repeat request never done. Then I only requested front yard they did my backyard left gate open and I have a dog with doggie door that could have gotten out while I was at work. Blessed that she doesnt run away. Repeated many times to not do the backyard please document in notes. At the last visit Ill be damned if they went into my backyard again while I was home. At that time I canceled and still never received my soul sample!! So disappointed!

Had my annual aeration done and it was only half completed. Joshua Jones did not use the hand operated machine to go around my pool and completely ignored the entire side yard! At least David made it right.

I understand that COVID-19 is going on, but my experience with just trying to get in contact with people that work here has been horrible. They would call me during work or send someone out without informing me, I would call back to a regional number. They would then have to tell the local guys to call me at some random time I was unaware of, and we would start the whole process over again. On top of that, I ordered and paid for plugs that were months late , and the treatments on my lawn never worked after 4-5 months. Maybe its just COVID, but my experience was not satisfactory, and I got a refund to switch to a different company.

I had TruGreen lawn service for about 2 years and my lawn was ok, but never really improved and I never noticed a difference from when I didn t have the service. My backyard actually got worse over time so I stayed one day to speak with the person schedule to service my yard and was told, you don t have grass in your backyard. So apparently they had been skipping it the whole time. During COVID-19 I was home a lot more and watched additional services as they continued to skip my backyard. Even when the front was serviced the worker seemed to be almost running because they were working so fast. So only about half of my front yard even got sprayed. I did call to complain multiple times and customer service was always polite and understanding, but the individuals performing the work seem to be constantly cutting corners. I would not recommend this company. Go local.

Tru green takes the guesswork out of lawn maintenance for me.No longer needing to worry about fertilizer, weed control and pest treatment.

On time, very professional, knowledgeable, a good value

They have been terrific. I use them for lawn pest control which includes mosquito control, weed control as well as caring and fertilizing my shrubs and trees. I would recommend them.

Never got a response

I was very pleased with the service and it was a real help for me not to worry about my lawn, just have a mower come by. They are great and I recommend Trruegreen Lawn Care.

Customers service is very bad

One of their sale people came to our door! He was very pushy! I dont think its professional and its off putting actually!!. Our neighbors who own a property in our street for rental purpose have a contract with Truegreen and their front yard is full of weeds.

Lawn specialist Francisco Deichler did a great job today. He took the time to explain exactly what he was doing and why. He was very efficient.

I contract for both the Lawn Care and Mosquito Treatment Programs and both are good and doing well. Your technician, Patrick, is great, courteous and thoroughly professional.

I chose to use TruGreen last year because they had a discounted package and my yard was riddled with weeds. The problem was that they managed to kill the weeds in the yard pretty wel, but now there are huge dirt spots in the yard. The agreement stated they would put in plugs to help fill in areas and that never happened. I requested that the issue be addressed several times and all they did was keep sending people out to the house to spray and charge me for it. I finally cancelled my account because of the lack of customer service and the damage to my lawn. Do not waste your money on these services.

So far - Ive had 2 applications of the lawn tru-green stuff. Brian was great, no issues. TruGreen on the other hand - decided to apply some bug killer to my lawn without asking me. I found out when after the second application, I got 2 bills for $52ish. I called - and said, hey you double-billed me. They responded, no, you had lawn chemicals, and bug chemicals. I demanded they stop the bug stuff - that I never approved - and continue the lawn chemicals only. This can get better - but im not entirely sure why its ok to apply and charge me for something that i did not approve. Wes

Showed up on time and good customer service skills

Very Unhappy with the way my yard looks,I have contacted Trugreen and I have been told they will have someone contact me within 48 hours.The level of customer service is unsatisfactory.The Salesman that sold me the service informed me if I ever had any questions to contact him.I have reached out to him twice since I enrolled in this service and I have never been contacted back.

Last year (18) I was a 5 Star person, Things have gone down. It seems things have gone down. Service man Brian seems in a hurry and spray does not cover. Maybe they are so busy that the company is short handed ( as many are) they are being pushed to do more customers.

My lawn has never been this good . I have used True Green got over 3 years with excellent results.

TruGreen has been taking care of the problems in our garden for a year. They listen to our concerns, they are always on time and offer different treatments for our difficult soil and weeds. We trust them and expect great results. Thanks TruGreen.

They didnt respect the customer. Overcharged. Didnt respect appointment time.

I needed a small part of my yard treated for weeds. They convinced my wife to treat the entire yard. Now my ENTIRE yard is dead weeds, dead grass, and dirt!!!! They put down fertilizer and aerated the dirt and said to wait. Now I have to pay another company $2400 to rip up the mess and lay down new sod!!! DO NOT use these cheats!

I had a lot of faith in TruGreen but was more than disappointed in the company. After the first treatment my entire front yard and back yard died. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for 4 months until I finally started planting grass and treating myself. I called to explain that I had mole crickets...all of a sudden the receipt said that I had mole crickets after 4 months. The receipt and treatment changed according to what I told them was going on with my yard. To make a long story shorter....I deployed....my wife tried to cancel my service...lady wouldnt cancel but said she would put our account on hold (probably trying not to cancel to keep from having to pay us back) and then we get a bill months prior to our year service ending. We cancel again...our lawn gets treated...get another bill...cancel again with a phone call....people to come treat again while Im home and I tell them we have cancelled more than once. She says to call the office (WHICH I HAVE DONE MORE THAN ONCE) Get another bill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All in all.....terrible service, terrible customer service, terrible treatments, terrible everything!!! If I owned a service like this in my location I would put TruGreen out of business. Nothing good came from this company. Sad to say....find someone else!!!!

Extremely poor customer service. I was lied to by the initial sales person. If you need substandard service and excessive and aggressive calls for upsells, then FalseGreen is for you.

My lawn was installed on 12/08/2017 for $14.000. It was amazing, trugreen sales rep stop by our house few days later. He called us a few times again following hos visit, and was explaining us how good are they and we need to protect our investment. We signed with them, and that was one of the worst decisions i have made. I have attached just a few of the photos of how my lawn looks one year later. About 30% is completely destroyed due to pests and weeds. They have come many times to treat and nothing but further damage follows. On both of my sides my neighbors doesn t use any service and their lawn looks amazing. Do not use them, just google what chemicals to use or ask someone that knows. Not only that you will loose your money for paying them, but you will loose the money that you invested in your lawn!

Very poor service!

Brian McCleod is so, so nice. He always shows up with a list of things he wants to discuss with me about my lawn and what his plan is for the day. He spends a good 10-15 minutes explaining the other services available to me: mosquito, aeration, shrub and tree service among, the few. Although I havent been interested in the services, he makes sure to remind me of of the options available to me. Hes a great representative for Trugreen.

Customer Service Nightmare... They dont follow up, they dont call back and they lie on the phone and that is the area manager. Brent Barber told me he was going to be my personal contact yet he never calls back or follows through with what he said he would. DO NOT USE this company.

The service is very good! All of the technicians have always been very professional.Mr Cunningham always greets me and my wife with a smile and ask if he can be of further assistance. I am very satisfied with the plan and its price.

This was the worst experience with lawn service. After they sent a family with 4 children under the age of 14 to install my dead sod I complained to Brant Barber. He continued to say he would fix my lawn, but 2.5 months later I still have dead spots, huge amounts of weeds, and flower beds with gaps between the bed and the sod. When I voiced my concerns with corporate, Brant sent me the rudest email I have EVER received, and still has not fixed my lawn. I would not wish this company on my enemy!

Professional, friendly service from Angel! He is always happy to answer any of our questions. Our lawn is looking weed free and lush. We have been happy customers for over 30 years!

Careful with them! I was charged with a service that did not happened. When I call costumer service to complain, the rep had bad attitude. If I could give negative stars, I would.

I have paid and paid for weed control and I still have to go out and dress the weeds myself. I think you are putting a really low week killer on the lawn.

I bought a years worth of trugreen service last year. When I purchsed it, the Salesman told me I would be getting a credit of around $100 after I purchased the service. I never got the credit even after I called the agent back and after he reassured me that I would get it. I let that go, and after a year I cancelled service over the phone after talking with the manager. I continued getting service for 2 months after canceling, was billed for the services I did not request or sign up for, and was sent to a collection agency. This organization has problems. The frustrating part is that the service is pretty good, but shady sales tactics and billing are awful. I have never been sent to a collection agency for anything. The bill is only for around $90, but I refuse to pay for services after I terminated them. Also, I tired calling the number they have listed and it is disconnected.

I recently met up with my specialist. He was leaving and going to a different department with in the company. He brought with him my new specialist and introduced him. I thought that was great company PR. I now wont have any questions as to who the new person is when TruGreen shows up to do the next treatment. Also I recently had my lawn aerated. I actually think I see an improvement and its only been 4 days. I am impressed.
