When I contacted Yard Eves to discuss my desire to change my front yard, they were very responsive and came up with a great design. We have received many compliments on our front yard from neighbors.

Alex and his crew did a phenomenal job of setting up the drip system for the 110 trees that I had planted. Very good workmanship overall.

Called them for a quote on sod removal/replacement and flagstone. They came out, seemed very responsive, and never heard from them. I called a week and a half later and left a voice mail, asking if they had a quote yet, or if they did not want the job to just let me know, ...no response.

We have found a company in Yard Elves that we will maintain a relationship until we no longer live on the front range...and that will be quite a while. I cant begin to express how happy we are with everything they have done for our landscaping this summer, from vision to final product. Above and beyond any of our expectations and right aligned with our budget. We were so hesitant to begin this process and are absolutely so satisfied with everything they did for us. No over selling, over landscaping or we know better than you approach. Deck replacement, hand crafted trellis, wheelchair ramp, wheelchair accessible low maintenance patio surface, small design touches and guidance on maintenance. Great at listening, following through, excellent craftsmanship and entire team ontime, professional and enjoyable. We will hire them on our next landscaping phase as we feel they have taken the time to know whats important to us and our budget. Our neighbor Dan hired Yard Elves 2 years ago; his backyard is beautiful. Dan s garden prompted us to get a quote from Yard Elves for our backyard transformation. A year ago, Alan and Nicole turned our blank backyard (new construction) into a tasteful master garden with a flagstone patio. We have a low maintenance beautiful garden with the perfect patio which we use in all seasons. Nicole suggested installing a rain chain, we had never heard of a rain chain. Instead of a gutter, we have a long beautiful copper chain of cups (rain chain) that adds to our gorgeous yard. We continue to get numerous compliments on the yard from those walking by, especially now with the Lilac, Iris, and Roses in full bloom. Yard Elves did a lawn/leaf maintenance project that included removing years of heavy pine needles. They also bid for and carried out a landscaping project that involved leveling ground, installing weedblock, and installing rocks to improve groundcover. Their work has been excellent -- we are very happy with the results.

Cant wait till snow season hopefully shoveling will be in the future lol

I called these people, waited for them for hours to show up, they didn t! Wasted half a day waiting for them; they didn t even call.

Unreliable service. Even after four attempts to request service - not even a call back. Perhaps if you have a big money making project they will make time for you. Otherwise - if your an average home owner- don t waste your time.

Amazing job on my Fall clean up. Fast service and exceptionally responsive. Customer service was outstanding. Yard Elves will definitely be my go-to for any yard projects that come up.

The new rental house our CSU student lives in needed some serious yard TLC -- and Yard Elves came to the rescue. Leaf removal, shrub trimming, tree trimming, and weeding were all done to a level that exceeded our expectations. Very professional and friendly to deal with. Yard Elves completed a full yard renovation with a sprinkler installation for me. They took on the project during a busy time with fairly short notice. Despite being busy, they did a great job. They were good about paying attention to the details and when unseen issues emerged during the job they took the time to fix them correctly. Whenever decisions were needed, they were quick to get my opinion and always had a lot of knowledge on the subjects. Since the renovation, they have continued to maintain the sprinklers and yard. It has made my life easier since they are always available and maintain everything without issue.

Nicole and Alan were great to work with from the very beginning and designed the back yard of my dreams. All of their workers are amazing. They are all professional, kind and extremely hard working. Were incredibly happy we decided to have Yard Elves complete a large landscape project in our backyard. Nicole, Allen and all of their crew were wonderful throughout the whole process. They take the time to ensure quality in everything they do, and it really shows in our garden box, berm and the entire design. We were initially impressed with the way they were able to quickly map out a design upon seeing our yard during our initial meeting with them. In talking with them it was clear they were an experienced team. We were also pleased that they went above and beyond to meet a completion deadline we had for the project. We now look forward to spending time in our backyard. As a company they really aim to please and take pride in the quality of their work. We would confidently recommend them to anyone in need of a landscape company.

I had a small job to do, and some companies weren t interested. I called Yard Elves, got a fair estimate within a few days, and they scheduled and completed the job a couple of days later. I was very happy with the whole process and finished job. I highly recommend them.

DO NOT USE THEM. They took my $100 deposit, claimed they mowed twice (citing dates and times, which we know are not true), refuse to return the deposit , and now will not return phone calls or emails.

This Family owned and operated business provides friendly professional services. Everything looks great; from the landscape renovation, to the custom flagstone patio addition. They do not stop caring after the install is complete; providing lawn maintenance, aeration, and full sprinkler services. Id recommend them for both personal property and business!

Yard Elves does high quality work! They installed red stripstone edging for some flower beds, stripstone around a large red flagstone walkway and a large cement pad/patio that would support a hot-tub at my first property in 2013. The cement pad/patio has not cracked or chipped and the pour was very smooth. The walkway was done in such a way that it is rare that weeds ever take hold in the cracks between the pavers. This home was new construction so there is often shifting and settling that happen with the clay soils. For the items Yard Elves installed, there seems to be no problems with the clay soil. The front step of the home that was poured by the builders is experiencing wash away of soil from underneath but the Yard Elves installed patio is not having that problem. If you want quality work done that wont require a redo in 5-10 years, contract with Yard Elves!

Yard Elves has done a wonderful job taking care of the mowing and trimming of my yard when we have not be able to do this task. They also fixed part of my fence that had previously blown down due to being old and a wind storm. They have fit me into their tight schedule when I had a last minute request for my yard to be mowed. I am looking forward to them helping me with redoing my old outdated sprinkler system and clean up that is needed in my yard as well as using their expertise in adding plants/flowers to my yard. Have always found them to be very pleasant when dealing with them no matter if it was office staff or field staff.

Yard Elves did a total re landscaping of my backyard this spring. Initially, the job was beautifully done. However, about mid summer, the fescue sod which they laid down started to die. It took me almost a month of constant phone calls and emails (only 2 of which were returned) to get them to come out and take a look. They admitted that there was a definite problem with the sod, and promised that they would get back to me right away after contacting the sod farm about what should be done. They even took several photos. It has been a month. They never came back. Never called. Nothing. I have given up on Yard Elves. I cannot recommend them as they do not take responsibility for fixing what is wrong, even when they acknowledge the problem. I will have to re sod the yard - with a different landscaper.

This is a bit of a long review, but in a nut shell, they are professional, friendly, and do amazing work! We recommend them and will continue to use them for our landscaping needs in the future. If you are looking for details read below: Called in July to have new weed barrier laid and to replace some rock in our back yard. We also needed some sprinkler maintenance and a small rock patio built. Our weeds were out of control and general upkeep wasn t working. Nicole came out and we talked about what I was looking for. She said that she could get the rock, sprinklers and weed barrier taken care of in the next 3 weeks but it would be September before they would be able to get to the patio, which was totally fine. The guys that came out to work on the project were professional. They didn t leave trash in my yard (this has happened before with other companies) and they were friendly with my dogs. Alex repaired my sprinklers and then we did a walk through to address some of my concerns with making sure that my garden for next year would have water and that all my trees and plants were getting enough water. This last week we were suppose to have some lower temperatures and I had made arrangements with another company to have my sprinklers blown out the next week but Nicole was worried that might be a bit late and offered to do it with the final sprinkler changes. She was right, we got some freezing temps and some snow. I appreciate that she was willing to go the extra mile to make sure that we were protected. The patio that she built for us was more than we expected. It was beautiful. We were not entirely sure what we wanted but we had an idea. She gave us lots of options on what she thought might look good and she really listened to what we wanted our patio to look like. We recommend them to anyone looking to have any landscaping project done, small or big.

Yard Elves did a large landscaping project 13 years ago which came out beautifully and we have been using them ever since for irrigation, plowing and lawn care. They are prompt and everything gets taken care of automatically.

Alex with Yard Elves did a fabulous job for us. We had several drip lines that were eaten by the rabbits , he located all of them and repaired them. Then did a yard clean up. We had quite the accumulation of leaves and pine needles under our trees. He and his crew raised the canopies on the huge pine trees and cleaned up all the debris under and around them. He was on time, worked very hard and our yard looked great and the drips were fully functional. Highly recommend this company.

I wish more companies were as trustworthy, knowledgeable and cared about the customer/people as yard elves does. I have worked with Nicole and Alan for 12 years on multiple projects. Not only did they install my entire landscape design impeccable according to the architect, but the work was done in a very quick time frame and was seriously amazing. I had so many compliments from neighbors on the detail of the work. The crew and job managers are so respectful and detailed in the work. They totally respect your property and are considerate to neighbors. The irrigation system for the lawn and drip system I have never had problems with and this is after 12 years. When repairs and maintenance does occur they have the upmost skilled technician available, who will explain everything in detail on site. Over the years, I have had yard elves come refresh the property (the most resent June 2018) , mow and do general maintenance, and now will be using them to upscale my backyard Koi pond! I am so excited to have them give their Koi pond expertise to my back yard. Not many landscape companies know anything about pond installation or maintenance, but trust me, you want a company who knows about ponds! One thing most people dont know or appreciate is that they have a vast amount of knowledge regarding tree and shrub health and have contacts with local experts regarding disease and weed mitigation.
