Lindgren Landscape in Fort Collins

Lindgren Landscape recently completed a large project to update and refresh our yard. Unlike many home/yard improvement projects it went very smoothly from the first consultation to the final walk through. Jill, James and Sebastian did a fantastic job and we are really pleased with how everything turned out.

We are very happy with the way Lindren landscaped our yard and their continued support! Chris and her team are just wonderful to work with!!

I m still waiting for a response from the proprietor of this business that I was promised, it s been 8 weeks. I have called and talked to the office manager at length and was told the owner would call and discuss my experience. I agreed to delete the previous review with the understanding I would be contacted.

Any time we had a question it was answered promptly and in an easy to understand way. They all worked so very hard, were on time, and made sure everything was cleaned up before they left each day. They were extremely friendly and easy to work with and we wouldnt hesitate to recommend these fine folks. Each of these individuals went above and beyond to create a garden anyone would be proud of. Our gardens are a delight to walk through and were so impressed with the final result. Its exactly as Jill designed it. She fulfilled my vague description of a xeriscape garden and created a beautiful space which will be easy to maintain. Lindgren Landscape and Senior Landscape Designer, Jamie McCarn, completely transformed our outdoor space! The final product was a result of the teams hard work, attention to detail and passion for a superior outcome. Brad and I enjoyed getting to know the crew and seeing all of the plans come to life. My wife and I hired Lindgren Landscape to help design and build our outdoor living space. They spent the time to listen to our wants for the space and then design it within our budget. They had great insight into what would or would not work with some of our ideas in the design which helped us to produce a fantastic outdoor space. They were never pushy about using certain products or trying to upsell. They would give their recommendations of products they generally recommend, but also other options to help us potentially do tradeoffs to stay within our budget. All the team members from Lindgren and their subcontractors were very professional and masters of their craft. There were regular communications all along the way so that we knew what to expect. They were able to complete the new deck, outdoor kitchen, and pergola install within budget and timeline. We receive constant complements from guests on the design and craftsmanship of work. Highly recommend Lindgren Landscape.

Lindgren Landscape did an excellent job replacing all of my foundation plants. The designer took my views into account when designing the plan, and the removal and installation went smoothly. I highly recommend Lindgren.

We had the pleasure of working with Lindgren to create an outdoor living space. Our designer, Georgia, really listened to what we wanted to achieve and came up with a creative and functional plan. We appreciated that she was our contact person through the entire project. Which included decking, electrical, custom metal work, and landscaping. We found Lindgren to be customer oriented and willing to make sure the project was done right. We highly recommend them!

We had a complete tear out and redo by Lindgren Landscape. From the start: the planning, expectations, and execution... to those they hire are hardworking, communicative, full of integrity, and lovely to work with. Lindgren is superior. We added cement work, walls, pathways and completely changed the irrigation, plants, and sod. The larger established treed and bushes remained, making a beautifully refreshed yard with no drama.

We are (hopefully) nearing the end of a home/lot design and planning process. G. Perry has been a critical part of the design/planning effort, from where the house should go, to how it should be rotated. The first planting work was a special opportunity to obtain some mature trees. This took some rapid logistical work which was done flawlessly. The trees are in and the temporary watering for them is working despite a serious water leak problem at the site. The guys jumper into the mud, got the the root of the problem, arranged for a Plummer to fix the leak and installed the temporary watering we need. Kindness, professionalism, taking time to communicate (down to unusual plans to come by to do part of the work on a specific day to work around external constraints). This is one really capable group of people that really care about customers and managing the real-world problems encountered while getting important things done. Several people have helped us in just this initial stage of work, and each, and every one of them are gems. They seem to enjoy working for Lindgren and have an understandable sense of pride in the company and the work they do. What a treasure.

I live at the Worthington, a senior independent living complex in Fort Collins. Sadly the Columbine Health Care System decided to hire Lindgren for the mowing services this year. The mowing staff are incompetent, unresponsive and they habitually throughout the mowing season have refused to the job around the Worthington correctly. The ripping up of sod chunks, the muddy pits and ruts are all along an area where many residents have liked to walk along the ditch. It is very easy for our residents, most in their 80s , to fall and break a wrist or ankle or worse. When that happens Lindgren will be sued for incompetent work. In response to my concerns a Lindgren team was sent and they repaired the damage to the lawn caused by the mowing team, Thank you for making sure our grounds are safe,

We first used Lindgren Landscaping a couple of years ago to help us fix the mess that our original landscaping company created in our backyard. We worked with Jill White who came to our home and gave us some ideas on how they could create what we wanted. Jill is wonderful and has a great feel for design and a great knowledge of plants and shrubs that that look nice and are right for Colorado s climate. The change was perfect. When we were considering making changes to the front yard this Spring we called Jill again. She created a blueprint incorporating what we wanted with things she recommended that we would have never thought of. She was patient with us as the design plan changed a few times due to things we would think we d like. It took about a week to get the work done and we love the result. There were a couple of issues with the work-not all were caused by Lindgren-and they were corrected immediately. A lot of people walk in our subdivision and we get compliments multiple times per week on how nice our yard looks. We highly recommend Jill and Lindgren.

We had an outstanding experience with Lindgren Landscape! Top quality work and professionalism, from design to installation. Mitch was our designer and also our point of contact through the whole project. He always went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with every aspect of the project. His professional input and guidance was super valuable as well! The result is a beautiful new front & backyard landscape, as well as an awesome new deck / outdoor living space for us to enjoy. The landscape installation team was so easy to work with and always answered our questions or accommodated our changes on the fly. We cannot recommend Lindgren Landscape & Irrigation, Inc. highly enough. We are extremely satisfied with the end result - creating the back and side yards of our dreams. From start to finish, Landscape Designer Bryon Weber, was our designated point of contact throughout the entire process. It is such a relief these days to work with just one person so that there is no confusion between us, the clients and the contractor. We just moved from Las Vegas, NV to Loveland, CO and are completely unfamiliar with the different climate and landscaping options - but we knew that we wanted an outdoor living space that we could enjoy now and in the years to come with our children. We did our research at first and scheduled interviews with different landscape companies , some of which we found were just asperaitional one-man businesses that did little more than the most basic lawn maintenance. Lindgren Landscape and Irrigation, Inc. was by far the most professional - and with our goals and budget, we didn t want to take any chances by trying to cut corners. We wanted to do it right. Bryon listened to what we wanted in our outdoor living space, asked relevant questions and took lots of detailed notes. He came back with a design that really impressed us and was about 90% where we ended up after a few tweaks. The planning, scheduling and execution was exceptionally coordinated and there was hardly any downtime in the three-and-a-half weeks to complete the project. We re now left with a beautiful outdoor living space that is comfortable, day or night, that both we (Mom & Dad) and our kids all enjoy every day. Despite our project and budget being larger, in the end, after all of the miscellaneous costs for materials, etc. - we were less than one-tenth of one percent over budget. This was due to Bryon keeping us in the loop throughout the entire process, making excellent recommendations when needed to cut costs, etc., etc. Bryon was always available by either phone or email and was quick to return calls. For us, that made the entire undertaking much less stressful. We would not hesitate to use them again.

We cannot express how thrilled we are about the job that Lindgren Landscape did for our newly constructed large house. Our home site was very complex and challenging. Jamie McCarn met with us and completely got the vision that we had in mind. She immediately knew how to execute it and we went over the preliminary ideas, and the infrastructure that would be needed to make our enchanted landscape a reality. Her team was incredible - they showed up every day on time, were completely professional, conscientious, and true craftsmen. Lindgren Landscape did all of the irrigation, retaining wall, hardscape, landscape and lighting themselves. They were exceptionally professional and timely even facing some challenging issues. When we were ready to move in, the enchanted landscape was done and exactly what we wanted. We could not be happier. Jamie herself was on-site practically every day reviewing her team to make sure everything was being executed correctly, and we never lost the trust that we felt from the first five (5) minutes of meeting Jamie. Thanks to Jamie and the crew at Lindgren. Jamie was easy to work with, accommodated our requests and helped us design and build a great deck and backyard that we have thoroughly enjoyed since its completion.

They did great work and we had a very easy experience working with them. They were prompt to come out for a visit and to prepare a proposal. They showed up on time and did all the work quickly and professionally, and finished ahead of schedule, and even repaired our sprinkler system when they installed the drip irrigation. A couple of the plants they installed got eaten by rabbits but thats our fault for not fencing them off to let them grow. Our new front yard looks great! Landscapings not something you do regularly but I would definitely use them again.

I don t understand how Lindgren would find it acceptable to do an entire leaf blowing of a parking lot during business hours making the 200+ cars in the parking lot look like this. Zero regard for peoples property.

Will move items that dont belong to them so they can park there trucks where ever they think is okay without asking.

Yet another landscape company with an ego larger than their workforce. Acting professional but then losing all care to property is the goal. Also, drivers can t seem to keep a truck and trailer in their lane. Owners pay to have negative reviews taken down or hidden while avoiding complaints just to go on vacations. Take your business elsewhere unless you want alcoholics damaging your property.

Trucks all over the road. There s usually a red car to follow with an individual and what looks like a bong before putting on a vest. If you re ever in a roundabout with any company trucks, prepare to be pushed out of your lane or risk being hit.

Lindgren Landscape was professional, timely and extremely neat and clean while doing a multiple day installation. In particular Shane was polite and professional while overseeing and performing the work on our property. Would recommend this company to anyone looking for high quality landscape design and installation.

Working with Lindgren was a great experience and we hope to do so again in the future! They designed and installed a beautiful deck and landscaping including pavers, sod, trees, shrubs, and perennials. After building a new home, we brought Lindgren Landscape in to design a comprehensive landscaping plan for our property. They worked closely with us, making sure that our preferences were known and included, and provided us with a very well thought out plan. From there, we discussed and decided with their help, what we should include in our first phase of landscape construction. Lindgren helped us decide what to include in phase 1 and was mindful of our budget, as well as the Home Owners Associations requirements. We quickly settled on a Phase 1 plan that met all needs. The landscape construction started on schedule, the work crews showed up everyday and worked continuously all day long. It was very easy to see the daily progress, and soon all of phase 1 was completed, and our yard was transformed from a house surrounded by fill dirt, to a home with real curb appeal! Through the entire process, Lindgren was involved in performing the work, or when they had to bring in a sub-contractor, they oversaw that the sub-contractors were on time, and delivered a quality product. During the project Lindgren kept the work site clean and clutter free. Toward the end of the project, Lindgren cleaned up the entire area - they even power washed the street in front of our house! Through the entire process, Lindgren Landscapes team was responsive and dedicated to our job . We will bring them back for other phases of our landscaping project.

I havent experienced working with these people, but one of them really helped me out today. And of their office is anything to go by, they do fine work too.

The work performed by Georgia Perry and her team was exceptional. They were professional on every level, from the first phone call I made all the way through installation. Every single individual in the company I had the privilege of working with was extraordinarily friendly, courteous and proficient. Georgia was incredibly adept at finding solutions within my tight budget without compromising the overall finished product in any way. Ed at Lindgren manages landscape maintenance for several HOAs we work with. Ed and his crew are very knowledgeable about landscaping, fertilizing, watering, etc. Service is top notch. Highly recommend.

First off I would just like to say that my experience with Lindgren landscape has been a great one! The team in general was a pleasure to work with and the final result was beyond my expectations. I started the design phase of this project back in September of 2019 working with Jamie McCarn. over the last 9 months and multiple design iterations, Jamie has been unbelievable to work with. She took my initial ideas on plants and trees that I wanted and with her design concepts enhanced everything to a point that it turned out better than I could have imagined. The whole Lindgren team from Tim and Jaime, to Matt and Cory have been so helpful through this process. I was made to feel apart of the process (and the team to be honest) and felt like my input was always valued, put at the forefront and the team continually surpassed my expectations. I am more than pleased with the final results and would whole heartedly give my recommendation to anyone interested in working with Lindgren landscape.

We love Lindgren! We had one of the top landscape architects in Denver work up the initial design for our backyard, but they quickly realized when getting bids from Denver-area contractors that we d be paying a huge premium for travel. This put the project significantly over budget, to the point we just couldn t do it. They had never worked in Fort Collins before, but the head landscape architect had interned with Lindgren years ago. He knew that if there was any landscaping architect in Northern Colorado to complete their vision - it was Lindgren. Tim personally sat down with us and we combed through our budget to find ways to save on costs. To our delight, they were able to get the project back on track, and within budget! They did not have to take on a last minute project, but they did so and they didn t treat us any differently than their own clients. We felt like we were a top priority. We did have issues with the carpenters, who Lindgren hadn t worked with before but took a chance on to stay in budget. But any issues that did come up with the carpenters were dealt with quickly, and Lindgren made sure that we were 100% satisfied every step of the way. We really appreciated that Tim and Adam, the project manager, had the attention to detail that we had. To top it off, we had a hard deadline as we were hosting a wedding reception in the backyard. Adam and his crew busted their butts to make it happen, and somehow they managed to pull it off in time. The event went perfectly, and everyone loved the backyard. We love the backyard. Looking back, Lindgren was the ONLY landscape architect in Fort Collins that could ve executed this design. Their level of professionalism, their flexibility, and attention to detail is rare to find in Fort Collins. We can t thank Tim and Adam enough to make our dream come true.

962 views of our pics I hope I saved everyone the extreme financial burden. Update***** Must be nice to have so much money you re able to pay Google to remove pictures that show the poor work. We have had several landscapers out that have told us this was Lindgren s fault and that Tim makes so much money we are nothing to him. It would only cost $1000 to patch the job but he keeps ignoring us and paying Google to remove my pictures. To do it correctly, pull rock & weed fabric away to trench and take our French drain down to the end of our property, where it should have been to begin with and was in the original design, would be too much to ask for when you were paid a measly 35k in comparison to your $$$$$ jobs. We have learned a lot DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. He uses a designer that provides for installers and it s their job to know if there is an issue..... Problem, we had workers who had never done landscaping or looked at a blue print unsupervised working on our home. So sad we have to spend all this money now to fix this. I will post my pictures daily! I will tell my neighbors, which is already on all my neighborhood Facebook post. If I save ONE person from this BS, you re welcome to come see our mess before it s fixed *****Owner of Lindgren, you provide a 1yr warranty to plants and trees. What do you do when your work wasn t done correctly? Our French drain was buried under the weed fabric and dirt, causing a huge problem with killing plants and sink holes. What do you do to fix 2 years of water flushing out the dirt? Our grading wasn t done right. I only gave you a nice review because I thought they came out and fixed the whole problem. After we contacted you and you refuse to fix a yard we paid 35k for, I removed the review and disclosed the truth with pictures. Obviously you are the rude unprofessional look at the threatening email I attached in my photos, somehow you keep removing! If anyone would like to see the photos you may contact me personally [email protected] Two years and 35k later we are stuck with sink holes, dead plants and dead trees. You can see in one email we are told the neighbors down spout caused all the damage to our yard with all his water pouring under our concrete. You can see the owners response to my first review with pictures, I immediately took down the pictures and review after being threatened. After speaking with several other landscapers and Lindgren s top foreman I can only say what I was told and that is this is fully Lindgren s fault. You will see the picture where the 7ft trench is, someone buried our French drain under the weed fabric and under the dirt. There was no pop up above the ground for the water to go. Therefore the water slid the dirt all the way down the side of our yard, killing anything over watered and causing sink holes throughout the entire side of the yard. After they came and patched it up, they did not replace any of the plants, they pulled rock from my neighbors yard to make it look better, somehow brought the French drain up out of the ground but it doesn t work. We have tried to reach the owner and he meant what he said, he will do no less and no more. He won t return calls or emails. The only emails ever sent to the designer were ones questioning the workmanship, I apologize if that belittled her. I also apologize if you felt threatened by me stating I would tell the truth on Google if it wasn t fixed. I m sure if you re a corporate place with lots of money and attorneys, Lindgren will do a fine job (and charge you more than any other company) I used to believe spending the extra $ would get us the best. However, if you re looking for someone who will back their work up, be respectful, and get your money worth in your personal loving home, I would not recommend Lindgren.

I hired Lindgren to do pavers in my backyard. It was not a simple project. From the initial consult to the final product, their work is exceptional. The design team was superb and had out of the box solutions and the installers were hardworking and detail oriented. They stuck to the schedule, were done on time and the final result exceeds all of my expectations.

Our home is below a long and fairly steep hill and we needed professional help to design and implement a water diversion system that would keep the rain away from our house. We felt it was important to find a company that was well established in the area with a strong portfolio of finished projects. We also wanted to see what other customers had to say about their experience. After researching online many other companies we decided to contact Lindgren Landscape because they seemed to be just what we were looking for. Of course, the primary concern was that heavy storm water would be kept away from the house, but we also wanted the finished work to be visually pleasing. From our first meeting with Ed Johnson, we felt assured that Lindgren would develop just the plan we needed. And when the project finally began, we found the Lindgren work team to very helpful, knowledgable and professional. Chris, Dave, Frank and Noel, were hard workers but very thoughtful and friendly. And, best of all, the finished product is absolutely beautiful... We are so pleased! Without hesitation, my wife and I would highly recommend Lindgren. Great people to work with and their work is amazing!

Lindgren Landscaping just completed our new beautiful landscaping project. This is the third home we have had landscaped by Lindgren Landscaping and would not consider anyone else. His crews are knowledgeable and professional.

Lindgren did an update to the Landscaping at our house, and they do all of the landscape maintenance and snow removal for our subdivision. They do an excellent job. It is clear they care about their work and customers, and the results clearly show this. I highly recommend Lindgren!

Lindgren did our original landscaping 14 years ago. We started using them this year for all of our lawn care and landscape maintenance. They take excellent care of everything and its so nice not to have to worry about anything outdoors and coming home weekly to a beautiful lawns and landscape.

Lindgren Landscape has consistently met and exceeded our expectations. They are prompt, professional, extremely competent and friendly.

We couldnt be more pleased with Lindgren Landscaping. The design of our landscaping met all our wants plus more. Likewise, the professionalism of the gentlemen, who worked on our project was evident in everything they did for us. The attention to detail was something we saw every day.

No answer at their phone number, and their voicemail system never gave me the opportunity to leave a message.

We were referred to Lindgren by neighbors who utilized them to complete their landscape. We contacted their designer during the winter months in order to be placed on the schedule for the Spring. During our initial meeting with their designer we provided her a design that we had a landscape architect draw up for us. Of the 4 quotes we received, Lindgren was the only one to come back at us and say that the design was not sufficient enough and that they would need to run the design themselves (oh, and that would be an extra $750). While a little turned off by that we were very pleased with the work Lindgren has done in the past and decided we were going to bite the bullet on this one. As we left the initial meeting we were informed that they were currently booking clients for an April install (Meeting was held at the end of Nov.). Sounded pretty accurate since we knew they held landscape installations over the winter. A month later, after we received all our quotes, I contacted Lindgren to inform them that we would like to move forward with an installation. It is here where things got a little unsettling. It took their designer 7 days to return my email asking my to send her a check for the design fees but that she wont be able to start on the design for another month. This raised concern that that the installation may be pushed back as well so I reached back out to see if we were still on for an April install. This is when the time frame bombshell was dropped on me. The designer informed me that they were booked out through the end of April (because they have a great client base) and that they were not able to get me on the schedule until the design was completed.....yup, that same design that was going to take 2 months to complete (1 month to complete but couldnt start it for another month). After a quick call to the designer she confirmed my fears, it was most likely going to be July before they could complete the landscape project (which was only a very very very small backyard). As I expressed my concerns about the fact that I felt that all I was doing was giving and getting nothing back (agreed to have the design redone for a fee, send a check with no firm timeline of when work was to be completed, etc...) I got a brief sorry you feel that way and so, fortunately for me, Lindgren made my decision for me not to have them do my landscape. I am not saying that you should not use Lindgren for your landscaping needs. Again, we were very pleased with the work they have done in the past. However, if you decide to go with Lindgren, identify time frames and expectations your FIRST meeting with them. We work hard for our money and we want to spend it on someone that appreciated that we are giving them our hard earned money. In a service industry, treating your customers like they are not important is a quick way to lose them.

We ve had Lindgren do two big landscaping projects for us now. Lindgren is a top-knotch design-build firm. They provided the whole package, from beautiful and unique designs that exceeded our dreams and requirements, to excellent planning and communication, to installations that demonstrated craftsmanship and real care. They know what they are doing, and clearly they care about doing a good job. It all starts with a great design. This was a fun, collaborative process. We thought we knew what we wanted and came to the table with a big list of requirements. Not only did our designer artfully address all those requirements, her designs included some things we hadn t thought of that turned out to be fantastic, welcome additions. The crew was dependable and came to work when they said they would. These guys work really hard and are a pleasure to have around. We had the same designer, project manager and foreman on both projects, as well as some overlap in the crew. We think that s a good sign, that there is not much turnover in the staff. The Lindgren folks we worked with apparently have exacting standards, possibly being even more picky than we are. (-: More than once, we observed that something was getting tweaked. Again, they care about doing a good job. All in all, we re very happy with Lindgren Landscaping and Irrigation and highly recommend them.

We have used Lindgren Landscape for all of our projects for our personal home as well as our rentals over the past 15 years. In an industry that has a lot of questionable levels of service and quality, Lindgren stands out for their professionalism, reliability, and honesty. Not to mention, their quality of work is second to none. Hire them for your next project and you will be very glad you did.
